A group of three regular animals are doing what they usually do to live, which includes scheming, theft, and by no means any real dangerous crimes. After the day is done they go off to Tristy's house to take a break, reciting past events and such, they soon realize Pep is missing, but soon find out he was sleeping under the couch, suddenly, a massive foe emerged, a gaseous Blue Face with jagged teeth and eyes, who immediately taunts them and brings forth a quick battle, in which the entity inevitably wins, they find themselves in some sort of Undead City, they are later told that it is a necropolis, and that they have been slain. They then begin training in an attempt to save the world from his Madness.

The ultimate first person shooter experience, based on the original classic Doom from id Software! ZDaemon lets you play with other players just like any modern FPS, whether they're across the street or across the globe.
Create a ZDaemon account, and you'll be able to keep track of your progress, gaining experience and levels simply by playing the game. Up to sixteen players can join in a match, against monsters or each other. ZDaemon supports favorite modes like Cooperative, Survival, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag, and can be played on thousands of maps designed for Doom, Doom II, and Heretic, including the originals.
Megazell's Comment - Some of the servers will require you to have the WAD files from other games installed but many of the other servers will not. You will be using community made wads. I actually have my favorites folder setup with all of the free wads for this game. Let me know if you want the info for that. Survival mode is one of the best. It's creepy solo but a lot of fun with friends.

The setting is Mustache City, a place of nightmare where all residents have mustaches. The player is a criminal who has to escape this place – for some reason – by shooting everyone. DeadAim has only two fixed-screen levels – The Comic Book Shop and the Alleyway. Use the left mouse button to shoot and right mouse button to reload.

Buster became well known for his releases, Akuji the Demon, Vacant Ark and Iwanaga. In King, he takes a simple concept and shows how it should be executed. The aim of each level is to kill all the enemies by jumping on their heads - the more heads in a row that you manage to jump on (without touching the ground), the bigger the combo will be. Also keep in mind that at times, you have to jump on multiple enemy heads to reach higher areas, otherwise certain levels cannot be completed. It's simple, charming and can be both fun and frustrating. - Slumlord

In 7DFPS entry First Person Tutor, players assume the role of a financially challenged teaching assistant serving an evil professor who pays off a bit of debt for every student failed. Players must snipe spelling and grammar mistakes to lower the student's grade before the timer runs out.
My favorite part of First Person Tutor may be the sadistic professor. Giving the student and F made the professor "indifferent" but giving an F- made him dance with joy. Oddly, he cackled madly at an F+, which I thought was better than an F.
As much as I like the grammatical aspect of the game, I wonder what an existential version of the same game name would be like: a tutor of being (in the first person)? - IndieGames.com

After a month of hard work (I really mean that) Oblitus is finally done. I made this game only in a month, which is pretty amazing, lol.
Oblitus came out as a short and easy game, easier than Roger's Quest, but that doesn't make this game bad. You can probably beat game in 20 minutes or even faster, but that 20 won't be boring. I think most of you will enjoy this, well at least I did, it's fun to play.
Music was created by Pavel Michalovski, the same man who made music for RQ. It is well made and really adds to the atmosphere of the game.

"Holy crap, that first puzzle had me for a bit!" is what I'm sure most people won't admit to when playing Increpare's newest puzzler Puzzles, available via browsers or for Windows and Mac download. Judging from two stages, players win by reaching the goal without tripping any lasers. To say more would give away the puzzle (and be presumptuous).
I've been enjoying Puzzles so far, though I imagine several of you will complete all eight puzzles way before me. Let's turn our comments into old-fashioned leaderboards, get out a stopwatch, and post some completion times!

[quote name='ChernobylCow']Just played through the tutorial for Rusty Hearts on steam. F2P anime brawler with mmo features. I didn't really care for it but hey, it's free.
Cool. Not certain but it should be on the list. If so I will add the secondary link to STEAM. I would check but I'm using modified netbook as a touchpad to view and post and it's not showing all of CAG correctly. Still a WIP.
Edit - Not on the list but will be soon. Thought it was

I have never been much of a fan of Super Meat Boy and its platforming, wall-jumping sub-genre, but I can't deny it's a very good game indeed, that has gone on and inspired more than a few knock-offs.
N3rd Boy, being one of said knock-offs, is a brutal wall-jumping affair that will have you die a lot while trying to beat its 42 levels. It's quite enjoyable too you know, and I can't help but admit its pixelated graphics and retro-esque music hold a certain charm, as does the speedrun-focused gameplay. Oh, and the thing does come packed with a healthy dose of surreal humour. - Indiegames.com

Indie developer Ahmet Alie Batı's latest title is ChronoCat, a time-bending, browser-based puzzler developed for the 48-hour GDT Jam.
While many of the time-related mechanics in the game will be familiar to anyone who has played Braid (in one level, enemies only move when you move; in another, moving left reverses time), ChronoCat puts them in an interesting new context. Many of the levels are fairly challenging, and the rapidly changing gameplay provides a decent amount of variety.

Netpack is a roguelike implementation of Namco's arcade classic Pac-Man, modified by Jamey to include turn-based movement, combat, character stats, and an inventory system to keep track of the fruits you've collected. The game features a fixed number of levels in the main campaign to play with (and no procedural generation), but there are two additional modes that do add a bit of replay value to the package as a whole.
You still go around the maze eating pellets while trying to avoid being caught by the ghosts, although players will now have to use the ladder that appears in the middle of the screen to escape once they've cleared a level of every single pellet to be found. The fruits can be consumed for temporary powers too: cherries explode and kill nearby ghosts, pears stop the flow of time, bananas reward with you extra experience points, and strawberries are useful for teleporting you out of a trapped position.
Netpack is currently available for Windows only, but Jamey plans to release the Linux port sometime in the coming weeks. - IndieGames.com

Created for the 7dfps game jam Super Counterfeit Gaiden is a simple shooting gallery offering with wonderfully pixelated graphics, a gloriously silly title and some fun and straightforward mechanics. It also is incredibly short, but, judging from what I saw, a game definitely worth of further development. And you will definitely enjoy the ten or so minutes of gameplay it has to offer. - Indiegames.com
WHY should I download this strange, unfamiliar game?
We’re pretty sure that Spocean is the only game in existence that simulates Napoleonic-era naval warfare from a first person perspective.
I don’t really care about navals or Napoleans.
Fair enough. I do think you would enjoy the strange, retro-futuristic “woodpunk” art style though.
no. I don’t think I would. This has been good, but I’m going to go watch cats falling off of–
Wait! You may have no interest in history or art, but you are a PC gamer, and the fact that you’ve found your way to this shady corner of the internet tells me that you’re probably pretty hardcore, and most likely pretty desperate to find a ray of hope in today’s abyss of recycled gameplay.
Go on.
Online first person shooters haven’t changed much in the past decade. With a few exceptions, new coats of paint are usually just slapped onto the same basic premise: Two opposing teams wander around the same environment and murder each other until a token objective is completed. Conflict is direct, direct, direct.
Spocean is fundamentally very different. Teams start on two separate ships, fire cannon shot at each other, and then try to board when they have the advantage.
Hmm…
THEN they murder each other.
Ah! Ok, that sounds interesting.
You should try it. Spocean might just be exactly the game you’re looking for.
