Please do not post referral links in this thread. There are threads for referral links here.
In an older thread everything went to sh*t once it became full of referrals and it was worthless for anything else.
If that starts happening here, I'll delete the thread and be done with it.

Referrals are now 15% off and you will get on average $2. They totally nerfed the referral system.
Thanks for the heads-up. I just updated all of my links. I wish 25% had stuck around long enough for Batman and Behemoth, but I’m honestly surprised it lasted as long as it did. In the old system, if a game was $10 (the minimum to qualify), the buyer would pay $7.50, and the referrer would get $5 of that, leaving $2.50 to split between meta and the developer. It wasn’t sustainable.

Advocate will receive Promotional Quest Cash up to $5.00 USD (“Credit”) depending on the app referred. Users can earn $1.00 USD for apps priced between $10-$19.99, $2.00 USD for apps priced between $20-$29.99, $3.00 USD for apps priced between $30-$39.99, $4.00 USD for apps priced between $40-$49.99, and $5.00 USD for apps priced >$50.00.

If I'm reading this correctly, the person sharing the referral and the person using the referral have to be following each other for this to work.

August Quest+ titles:

Myst
Ragnarock

This is my first month in which I don’t already own at least one of the titles. I played Myst (non-VR) when it came out (yeah, I’m old), but don’t remember any specific puzzle solutions. I tried the PC version of Ragnarock a while back when I had a Viveport subscription, and it was surprisingly enjoyable, so this will be a good month for me. Slightly softens the blow of them nerfing referrals.

Humble has a $10 Escape Room PC game bundle that includes Escape Simulator (fully playable in VR). Also 6 other games including Escape Academy (not VR), and Escape First: Alchemist, which claims VR is coming, but I don’t know when.

Looking at Medieval Dynasty VR, anyone here play it? Curious if it is one that is staying exclusive to Quest or if there is any word of a PSVR2 port. Someone send me a referral discount and see if it tempts me, lol

Some interesting stuff in the showcase. Wasn’t expecting Arizona Sunshine remake. There is going to be a $10 upgrade path, so I finally went ahead and redeemed the Steam key from a humble bundle I had bought forever ago, and redeemed a bunch of other old keys too, luckily none had expired. Both the Steam and Quest versions are on sale right now, so might be worth picking up the original if you are interested in the remake (though if you are interested in the remake, odds are you already have the original).

Quest August sale is live, btw.

It looks like you can subscribe to Quest+ from the Meta website without owning a device, but can you claim the games without one? I'm considering subscribing so that I'll have a large library of games to play by the time I buy a Quest device.

I don't know the answer to your question, but whenever you join quest plus, there are some games that all members gain instant access to. You can check out those games here. Synth Riders will join this list next month, but something else could rotate out. Meta is currently offering a one month trial to quest+, so you can sign up and find out without it costing you anything here. I know that there is a way to claim games from the web and mobile app, but I don't know if you have to have a headset linked to complete the process.

I would assume so. I claim the games from the app on my phone, just like I buy games from the app. I do own a Quest, of course, but I don’t think it would make a difference.

Reviews for Hitman VR are coming in, and they are not good. A patch is expected in the next few days, but probably won’t fix most of the complaints. I preordered it, but won’t be able to try it until tomorrow.
