Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Limited Edition - How Hard Will it be to find?
Has anyone else had shipping problems with the ps3 version from amazon? My 360 one already shipped out...

Thanks
has it not shipped at all? Mine just shipped yesterday, and I believe they said it would ship between the 10-12th so it might just take an extra day or so.
My Amazon order shipped, but for some reason it is going to take 6 days to arrive. It must be coming by Media Mail.
Might as well prepare the return process now since it will be in shambles by the time you get it. I have not once I don't think in the last year received a non-damaged game from USPS. It either comes cracked, dented, creased, dinged up so bad that I end up returning it.

I am debating should get keep the $40 normal ediiton from amazon or get5 the 70 limit editin from gamestop for 360..... to anyone who get the artbook.. how is it?

Wow, wtf Gamestop. I got my order in today, and instead of Metal Gear Solid HD Limited for PS3, inside the box is Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition. WTF Gamestop.

I just want my PS3 MGSHD LE! Bah! I think I'll raise hell with customer support tomorrow. Shooting them an email about it tonight. Worst comes to worst, I think I can sell of this Hardened Edition for about 140-150.

Keep it man, elite membership cost more than metal gear solid limited edition.

Gosha, I had the same exact thing happen to me. I opened by box from gamestop a couple of hours ago to find Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition. I tried calling customer support, they had me on hold and no one ever picked up to speak with me. All of the stores I called around here also sold out of the limited edition. Let me know how things go with straightening out your order.

I'm most likely at this point just thinking of selling the CODHE on ebay and just buying the Metal Gear LE while the price is low. In the long run, the CODMWHE won't be worth much after people have used up the elite codes.

Its weird, when I first called about trying to see if I could buy one of the limited editions at my Gamestop, the woman on the phone said "the hardened edition? Those I think are only for preorders." I then told her its Metal Gear Solid not Call of Duty and she was like "Oh that's also only for people who preordered." I just think its weird that people received hardened editions from Gamestop online and the woman on the phone at my local Gamestop assumed it was Call of Duty but then again it was the day Call of Duty came out and she must have received a lot of calls about Call of Duty and none of Metal Gear Solid.

Got mine in the mail from Amazon.

The art book is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo worth it. I am going to sleep with it under my pillow.

I literally spent 14 hours trying to find a :ps3: copy between 10 of my local GS's yesterday. Long story short, it seemed the only available copies were reserved already. Ended up with a copy after calling the district manager directly. Dunno where he got it from but he drove to a couple stores before driving to my local Gamestop. Excellent customer service imo.

Same here! I love the art book, slipcase and nothing else.

I called several GS in my area and all the ones in stock were for pre-orders. Got lucky with one, just walked in and asked the rep and she said that they might have one. She went in the back and came back with a PS3 version...score.

I guess these are somewhat "rare." One store said to give it a week and they'll release more of their instock once the pre-order folks pick them up.

I seriously doubt that, but it is possible.

GameStop couldn't even satisfy the demand for preorders for the MGS3 LE, and there were cases of people that paid for this game in full that didn't get the game because the store treated it on a first come, first serve basis...
