Well with right now being December 11, that only means 9 days until this launches.

It also says it on Wii.com
So is anyone somewhat excited? Well you know, as excited as one can be to access weather on your Wii.
I'm excited (to that certain level of course!). Being able to go on your Wii and seeing the weather and what's going on fore the week just makes the Wii just a bit different then the rest. (And then with the news channel coming next month)
But one thing that has me wondering: Will some games out there (i.e. Animal Crossing, The Sims, Harvest Moon) implement this feature into some games? IMO, it seems like a good idea. I mean, why not use a simple feature that involves checking out the weather of the day and using into a game?
Personally, I'd love to see it used in some games. The catch would be that it should be an option that you can turn on and off. I mean I guess having a game like Animal Crossing it wouldn't quite be fair to say.. people who live in Miami who want to try and build snowmen since it'll probably never snow in Miami (if it has, no need for corrections. You get what I mean!).
Well, what do YOU think?
From Wikipedia.
Weather reports and forecasts can be downloaded onto the console from the Internet via the WiiConnect24 service. The Forecast Channel displays a view of the Earth, with which users can view weather in other regions. A brief outline of weather conditions appears on this channel's icon in the Channels menu. The Forecast Channel will first be available on December 20, 2006.
