I saw it thinking it was METROID Prime... and someone just forgot to put the metroid in front of it... i was wrong...

then it had me thinking....

She's perfect for Samus Aran.... and John Woo is in the process of working on a Metroid move...

damn...
now i want to see it...

does anyone have the old Metroid Prime commercial from two years ago?
The live-action one with the suit...

Besides UMA.... who would make the best Samus in a real Metroid movie?

I have to agree with you. I think Loken would be good. I'd do whatever I could to prevent Uma Thurman from being in a Metroid movie, though. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like her. She's not pretty, I don't think much of her acting... I'm just not an Uma fan.
 
It says Sandra Bullock walked away from the project only two weeks from start of filming. Guess that rewrite didn't deliver. Considering some the stuff she's done recently this must really have problems. The continuing presence of Meryl Streep isn't a good sign either.

Uma Thurman as Samus for the love of God NO!
Anyone but her.

Truth be told I have always thought Neve Campbell could play a good Samus, she has the look and the build to pull off Samus.

Kristanna has got it locked. I think she is supposed to be playing BloodRayne in the upcoming BloodRayne movie too.
 
Kristanna could make a good Samus.

But I do wonder if she would be up for doing another VideoGame based movie after BloodRayne. I guess it would all depend on timeing and if BloodRayne is a hit or not.

I wonder if Hollywood has thought of her for the roll yet?
 
The Metroid Prime Trailer ROCKED! I was luck and got to see it on the Big screen.

Has anyone seen the Japan trailer for Metroid Zero Mission. That one was also pretty damn cool.

Man, I wish they would get off their butts and get a Metroid Movie done soon!

Heh, I don't think they could get away with a commercial like that in the US. I like the US one too though.
 
I hope this Movie doesn't have much of a script at all,
like most modern action movies it should be all action.
 
I remember hearing at GameRankings that this movie currently isn't even in planning stages... Look it up yourself as I lost the link a while back.
 
you are right, right now the Metroid Movie is in Development HELL. They have the rights to do the movie and they are talking about it a little bit. but there is no word on a script being done or any planing going on what so ever.
