Gamestop.com is listing a bonus camoflage headband you can wear when you purchase online. A few Gamestops I called had no idea if there were going to be any in-store premiums.

[Edit 11.16.04] It would seem that everyone is playing by the rules this time, BB, CC, GS, and K-Mart all seem to be holding back the release until tomorrow that I've called- no inept employee early put-outs.

Looks lame with no MGS3 writing on it - could get the same thing and for cheaper at a local army shop or something.

Right....about 3 days ago at my local Gamestop: "Hi I'd like to preorder your collector's version of RE 4." "RE 4 doesn't have a collector's version coming out." " Yeah it does, so far it's exclusive to your stores too." "I've never heard anything about it." "Just look it up, it should be in your computer." A couple minutes of silence go by... "Oh well how much do you want to put down for the preorder?"

Granted that's not every Gamestop, but at my local one it seems there's only about 2 people working there who know what the devil they're doing.

Well.. let's see.. 49.99 at gamestop.com plus shipping blah blah.. equals around 54 bucks total.. 36.99 at outpost.com.. with shipping it'd be about 44.. 2 bucks at the army store would come out to be 46.. so yeah. If I got the game and a bandana from gamestop.com, it'd be 50something.. buying from outpost and local army store = 44.. but I really have no desire to even play MGS3 anyways..

right, its like that at every store be it walmart, gamestop, frys or whatever. some people are just idiots, actually a lot are.... but that doesnt mean ALL gamestop (or walmart or frys) employees should be labeled incompetent

I think you should be able to fit them on a memory card. We will soon find out I guess

well by saying you'd get it at the army shop, i assumed you wanted just the bandana and not MGS3. Its no doubt you'd get a bandana anywhere cheap, but your post only referred to a bandana, not the game itself....
 
The HDD need may depend on just how many camo designs you can D/L.

Yes for it to be a full-on XBL Dl they need to charge you $50 a year for service, then another $5 per camo :)
