MGS4 Headed to Xbox 360

Shrike doesn't actually care about the gaming portion of Cheap Ass Gamer, so we're safe. Btw, you can't like games either. You must not.
 
This is just so weird. Shrike's a great mod from my experiences. His work in the trading forum is fantastic. Why the desire to shut down general gaming talk in the general gaming forum?

so 100s of pages of 360 vs. PS3 flame wars have passed through over the past year untouched, but a civilized general gaming topic gets shut down within hours?

that's pretty unreasonable any way you look at it Shrike (and other mods.) if you're going to shut down perfectly good topics about gaming, then please shut down stinkers like this one too please.

I dunno... Shrike always used to be pretty cool but for the last half year or so... maybe a bit more... he's been pretty off-kilter. Maybe it's because I'm not in the trading forum much anymore, but I'd almost go as far as to call him a nuisance now. I have no idea what happened, but wow.

You know, I almost just bought a PS3. ALMOST.

I had my credit card info entered and everything, but then an image of my wife skinning me alive popped into my head, so I closed the page.

Right now I only have Virtua Fighter 5, but Ridge Racer 7's on the way (love the series)... though that's all that's out right now that I'm interested in as I didn't care for Resistance or Motorstorm. Anyway, I really like the system. The hardware itself feels really solid and there's lots of nice, minor touches like the whole "power button that you just touch to use" idea. The interface is exactly the same as what you have on the PSP which is good because it's simple and unobtrusive. Right now, I'm really using it as an upscaling PS2 to play Rogue Galaxy and believe me, if you have PS2 games and an HDTV, the PS3 is a very, very worthy purchase. It makes a huge difference for most of the games that I've tried the upscaling with (I'm upscaling to 720p.) Anyway, I really do like the system and I think it's just a matter of time before it has the library of games that I most want to play.

When MGS4 comes out for 360 it'll be on 64 CDs actually. And another 4 discs for the soundtrack in the collectors edition with dog tags.

Exactly. CD's are what's in now which is why DVD's will not be used.
 
I'm going to back it up to my zip drive. I also got a converter so I can record the cutscenes straight to betamax.

I'm backing it up to my audio-casette-datatape drive. I can hook the 360 up to my Commodore 64 vid HDMI. Then, all I have to do to play the game is jack the tape drive into the phone line and hook one of those wicked 300 buad modems where you need to rest the phone handset int he cradle to the 360.

Next-Gen. Streamlined.
