Surely though you must have thrown something else in the pot, as Ar tonelico 1 & 2 for for a Lightning PS3 doesn't exactly spell out "equal trade" in my bowl of alphabet soup.

Edit: Heh, yeah. After hearing the whole trade from you and that you bought the PS3 on the side, it's much more sense making. Not that you probably couldn't have straight up traded for it since you've got some real rarities on your hands, but dv8 isn't much of one for sealed games. Or so he says.

nope all US ps2 & ps3 releases a friend is trading his BC (MGS bundle) PS3 to someone for a blu-ray player and some other stuff. Traded his games to me for some animes.

EDIT: DV8 how much are Tales of games over there? Like Destiny remake, Destiny II, Rebirth, etc. I was wondering cause this guy on Ebay is trying to charge me 20 for EMS on three games...

But if the games are cheaper then in stores it would even out. They are about 10 each he's selling them for.

I would think $50 overall is probably about the going rate. Possibly even a little higher than that. He's more than likely just trying to get a little more margin with higher shipping although, $20 may not be too far off for EMS.
