We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

Jackson had 13 number one hits during his solo career.

I always liked him a lot as a musician and as someone who has a friend who was psychologically abused by his parents which kind of turned him into a nut, I can see what Michael Jackson's weirdness was the product of.

So far CNN hasn't reported on it yet. Probably waiting for confirmation.

Perhaps the title should be changed until multiple sources confirm the story?

I'm watching CNN live right now and they're still saying he's hospitalized. Man if TMZ has fucked this up that would be horrible.

Same here. I was 2 years old almost 3 when the record came out. It was one of my earliest childhood memories. I watched the Jackson 5 movie on VH1 last weekend. It lead me to listen to Thriller alot the past week. One of the best records in the history of music. It's a shame that Michael had such a difficult and complex life. His music and charity reached all over the world. I just hope the scandals aren't going to ruin his legacy.

Heh. I was talking to someone today about TMZ and they kept claiming how "right" they (TMZ) are most of the time.

I actually hope this time they are wrong.

Odd we have no confirmation from the big 3 yet.

I doubt he would commit suicide now. It seemed as though he was starting to get over the hump of his scandals in terms of the public eye. Don't you think he would have rather committed suicide when things were much more grim? Though, he did auction off a ton of stuff from his house earlier this year... maybe that was one of the signs.
