Hate to come off as a dick but this guy/kid/nurse combo was just plain stupid.
I am a big time soccer fan...I have a soccer ball that is signed by a couple of player. You know where it is? In a

ing case in the closet only to be taken out when I try to get more people to sign it.
I dont go to the park and play with the damn thing.
Once you get the xbox signed...and if you care enough about the sigs on it...just fork up the money to buy another xbox. One for play...one for getting signed. Any idiot knows that.
Also...this seems less like an employee being a dick and more like red tape. There is most likely some rule that says that every xbox that goes out must me cleaned/wiped/ whatever and the guy most likely didnt want to wipe it off but was made to.
But he shouldnt have sent it in...in the first place. Sending a letter does nothing. You know how many bricks come in there a day? The worker most likely doesnt even look in the box anymore just grabs the xbox and does his job the goes on to the next one for 8 hours.
All I am saying is if you fix 20 xbox's a day 5 days a week 8 hour at a time you most likely dont give a

what comes in the box or about some letter that came with it.
This guy/kid/nurse showed that he didnt care enough about the xbox to take the proper lengths to secure it so....sucks for him.
Things you do to keep something priceless from getting messed up.
1. Dont use that item every day
2. If its an item that you would like to use...buy another copy and use that one.
3. Never trust it in the hands of anyone that is not right in front of you. If you can not stand behind the person fixing/cleaning/detailing your priceless item its not worth it to give it to them.
4. Keep it in a safe place......locked case, safe, whatever.
If the xbox was so important to him to cry over then it should have been important enough to make sure it never got destroyed, altered, wiped, whatever. This guy did everything wrong and then wants everyone else to feel bad for him.
Also...does he not know another

ing person with an xbox? You couldnt just ask someone you know can you borrow their case so you can keep your priceless one? Christ..the more I think about this the more I think this guy is an attention whore.
