SDCC Iron Man is just another Mugg. Shiny paint job included.

And the box is like every other box, just Iron Man in place of the Marvel logo.
Actually, in all seriousness, while the shiny paint job isn't entirely unique anymore, the box is, as far as I know, the only Mighty Mugg box that is entirely metallic looking on the outside as well, so it is somewhat unique. Trust me, if you were to stumble upon one at a decent price I doubt most folks would pass on it.
This. So so true. I was doing so well until all of the Transformers. My wife may just kill me...
You make me feel better about my wife. She was the one who pushed me over the edge when I wasn't sure if I wanted to start collecting them. She also bought me the SDCC Iron Man as a suprise gift along with Voltron. Man that was a good day.

I have 17 Mighty Muggs now in the past year with Darth Vader as the only one I opened. I use his light saber to hold my wedding ring when it is off.

Does anyone know a good place to get a General Grievous mighty mugg?

Ebay. I don't think any stores are going to have Muggs that far back anymore.

As a collector who has basically all the Muggs except a few, I really hope they at least release the upcoming Magneto wave before they cut off shop. That'd be a great way to go out as that one will be awesome to have.

Who else is supposed to be in it other than magneto and iceman?

So how rare is the SDCC Iron Man? I have one my friend gave to me. It's never been opened and is in perfect condition. What makes it so rare over the other SDCC ones?

Demand would make it worth more. It seemed to be the most popular os the SDCC Muggs last year.

I love how Hasbro now sells graded versions of the Muggs ... wtf is up with that, it's almost like "Oh, we don't have SDCC iron man in stock ... but for $200 we have this graded edition that was actually what was left of our sto .... oh, wait ... uh yeah guess we uh "sold out" of other SDCC iron man muggs we had but buy this mint one from the back."

Im thinkin of selling all the ones I have......well most at least. I thought I was gonna do a couple but now am thinking about all of them.

Decent price as in Normal price?

Yeah, I'd buy it.

$20 bucks? No way.

Resale for Muggs sucks imo, just because shipping kills alot of the profit unless you're selling really rare ones ... at least in my experience when I decided to cut my collection in half.

Yeah, thats why im not sure. Eh, ill post a list later i think

Your best bet is probably to try and sell sets, as the cost to ship them in bulk works out better than shipping individually ... plus you'll find there are quite a few individual muggs that no one wants to touch (*cough*silver surfer*cough*)

I love my silver surfer, he surfs nicely on the dashboard of my car! One I wouldn't dare touch? Human Torch.. Don't even know why they made one of him. -.-

HT was the 2nd Mugg I bought. He's not the greatest, but I think the bright orange is kinda cool. I thought the style fit because might consider him to be flaming.

I was always curious about these MUGG's. So today while shopping decided to buy 1 & only 1!!! So I walked away with the Snake Eye's one , it was either Destro or Snake Eye's. One question tho , out of the G.I.Joe line & Transformers line , which ones are the rarest to find?? I seen some people are having a hard time trying to find a Starscream , which in turn is my fav. from transformers . . .

I would say Starscream and Destro (tied with Baroness) are currently the hardest to find ... imo

And no offense to the Silver Surfer lovers, I was speaking from personal experience (how cool would SS be if he looked like Destro's head) and yeah, Human Torch is another that seems to have a permanent residence on the shelves of Target ... that whole wave - Galactus, SS, HT didn't really seem to sell particularly well.

BTW was kind of surprised to see a Spider-man in good condition at the local Target today, don't see him around much anymore

Silver Surfer would look nice in that metallic silver color like Destro's head. Galactus is another favorite of mine as well. :)

In other news, I finally bit on the Cyclops that's been sitting on my local comic stores shelf tonight, bringing my total Mugg collection up to 42. :D

48, re-counted* ;) I'm still waiting on my local Targets to put the exclusive Target wave on the shelf. I want my shock trooper and Biggs!

I wouldn't dare count how many Muggs I own... I'll just get depressed that I've probably spent over $200 on toys .

I actually saw another Starscream and Grimlock this past Monday at Target, and for the first time ever, I managed to curb my impulse buying urges. My appeal for Muggs seem to be waning but, hopefully, the release of the Marvel Target exclusives will light a fire under me.

On a side note, my brother got me a SDCC Iron Man as a gift and it pretty much trumps almost all the other Muggs out now.
I've yet to even see an SDCC Iron Man.. :(
Well, you can hijack a time machine and hit SDCC last year, or hit eBay.

Marvel Target exclusives? Which wave is that ... weren't these supposed to be going TRU exclusive at some point too ... I'm just confused and out of the loop on Muggs lately.

Iceman and Magneto were advertised as Target Exclusives. Then there was talk of everything becoming TRU exclusive, but then I've heard that amended to mean just the Star Wars part going TRU exclusive. I doubt anyone really knows what the real future of Muggs are. Best we can do is wait for them to show up in Singapore and then slowly creep across the US.

Venom is the only Marvel mugg I own. I have the complete Transformers line (all 6 currently), along with Indiana Jones and a Blank White. I really want the Spider-Man with removable cloth mask!

Looks like you missed Venom...he would have been in the same box ;)

I'm pretty sure we'll now more this June at ComicCon

Dammit, I've been seeing lone Spidermans at my local Targets for weeks. Didn't know the wave revision he was in included Venom :whistle2:#.

So the hunt continues it seems...

Toywiz.com also sells the exclusives. Their shipping is pretty decent too. I think it's like $7 for 4 Muggs. Also, you can use the coupon code April29 for 5% off. Not a lot, but might save a few bucks. Either way, it's cheaper than bigbadtoystore.com.

I FINALLY FOUND A VENOM AT TARGET!

Bah, I am so happy to have finally found one.

This store also keeps getting more and more Emperor Palpatines every time I come...

i found a venom but it was pretty beat up and had packing tape all over it :( i bought it regardless (gonna make me a punisher/venom) but yeah...wish it was in better condition.

The hunt continues.

Does anyone know if there is any difference at all between the first release venom and the second? I have 1 of each now...just curious :)

Earlier in the forum, someone said they'd used a different shade of red on the new wave of spidermans. This could be true on the newer Venoms as well.

You have an old one and a new one in front of you, compare the colors of the two. :)

I recently found a Spider-Man and a Captain America at two different stores about an hour out from my location, then today found a Venom at the target near my work.

Already had the Venom so I left that, but got the Cap and Spidey. Still no Starscream :(
