Mighty Muggs info thread:
Why? Because they are awesome

Target: 9.99 (not on website)

Toys R Us: 10.49 (http://www.toysrus.com/search/index.jsp?kwCatId=&kw=mighty%20muggs&origkw=Mighty%20muggs&f=Taxonomy/TRUS/2254197&sr=1) I have found them to have the biggest amount, and rarer ones of most of the stores

Wal-Mart: 9.98 (Not online?) Maybe some clearance ones?

also offer rare and limited Muggs.

If only amazon sold these they would be tax free with free shipping. I hate paying 10.25% state tax in Illinois and the high gas prices.
 
So this thread, searching, and other websites have made me want these. I ordered Dr. Doom from Walmart tonight. I plan on collecting the Marvel ones and maybe a couple from the other sets.

So what non-Marvel characters should I be looking for? What are the hard to finds that I could trade here?

If your looking for rares...2 eyed Darth Vader and Storm troopers. But that's just imo though.

So Wolverine in Wave 1 and Wave 4; whats the difference? Is Wave 4 a repaint and shinier? Is there anything that would make Wave 1 Wolvie more desirable than Wave 4 Wolvie?
 
Almost picked up Spiderman and Wolverine last night at Toy R' US. I might swing back and pick them up tonight. I think they got a new truck in this morning so they might have some additional ones.

Man, ALL of my stores have had the same common muggs for weeks, I can't find anything new, not even restocks on old ones that I need. Hell, I'd be happy just to come across Doc Ock or something that's not dirt common.

Has anyone ordered the Red Skull or Thanos?? How about Admiral Ackbar or Shadowtrooper?? I am looking to get one of the two sets on BBST, but can't decide.
 
Saw the newest wave of SW MM's tonight at Urban Outfiitters, they had all of them except Rex (Goddamn Rex, the elusive bastard) and it was my first time seeing any of them in San Jose, CA. Wasn't going to pay $20 a piece though, and evidently they have been making their way into local Toys R Us stores, according to a cashier that said the collectors are coming right when the doors open each morning and buying them out. She also told me how cool Venom was ... which would have been ironic/annoying if not for the fact that I have my Borders Venom safely at home. Cheers, the hunt continues ...
 
I just pulled the trigger on the GI Joe pre-order from Bigbadtoystore. Having no luck with local stores while looking for Marvel MM, this is probably my safest bet.

Cashier at Urban Outfitters said Venom was cool? Maybe I should visit one to see if they have Venom as well.

Im still looking for the shiny iron man black suit spidey and venom I have regular spidey though

I saw the megaman one awhile back it could be better but still nice. It would probally be better if his hand wasnt his buster and just his hand in the older mm cartoon he could switch his hand in and out from buster mode

"Shiny" Iron man is the SDCC one. Just in case your looking around for it.
 
Woot! I received classic Iron Man from my Walmart order and he is definitely my favorite Marvel Mighty Muggs. I thought the package would be delayed since it shipped out of Texas and I got a disclaimer from UPS about the hurricane. :D

There's only two that I know of, I've seen both and purchased both for other people. There's Darth Vader with 2 eye reflections (instead of 4) and a Storm Trooper with darker shading.

Saw it while I was going to go from a disappointing Muggs hunt, and was wondering how come Indiana Jones ones are missing, then Mutt Williams caught the corner of my eyes and I thought to give it a look and found Dr. Henry Jones along with Monkey Man. Passed the other two though, might get it later, but not any time soon.

Saw couple Stormtroopers in Toys 'R' Us, was going to get one of them, but passed them, both seems to have bad paint jobs.:whistle2:|

The Dr. Henry Jones one I got seems to have fairly good paint job, a relief.

Yeah I was surprise when I bought my last batch their and they all rang at that price. But hey I'll pay the extra 50 cents then drive all around for them.

Yeah, but that is if they have something other than ones often seen in stores...

One Walmart I went to have overflow of Luke, Obi-Wan, and Mace, it took up three different spots on different shelves. That is so ridiculous. And to make things worse, almost all of their boxes have damages.

Not yet. I was going to do it for Marvel wave 1, but since I had most of them, I did not try to pre-order it yet. Just see which set you like the best. For me, I would go for Red Skull and Thanos just to pair them with Captain America and Iron Man.
 
Actually there is a Variant wolverine out there that cost about 300 dollars. One of those 1 in 20 made deals.

Edit: I think its Wolverine. I D K. I got banned from the Muggs Proboard cause I crossed over to the Mighty Muggs forum.

I finally broke down and bought my first Mighty Mugg. It was Captain America. He's my favorite character of what's been released so far so I just had to (and I've noticed that the wave 1 Marvel figures are getting more and more scarce). For Star Wars I'm eyeing Mace Windu and Darth Maul if I ever see them again). From the Indy line I might get Dr. Henry. Gi Joe I've already mentioned Cobra Commander (and maybe Destro and Baronness). Finally, Transformers might be Megatron and Soundwave (and definitely Starscream if they ever make one).

After that though, I swear I'm not getting any others... Then again a Cobra BAT Mighty Mugg would be pretty damn cool...
 
Finally found SW wave 5 in my area at Target. I only found Count Dokku and Asajj Ventress but atleast I found something. I was getting worried. The hunt is on for Anakin and Cap Rex.

I still haven't found Ghost Rider at TRU.

I think TRU and Kmart have always had MMs priced at $10.99. Only Target and WM have them for $9.99.


That Superman custom MM looks awesome. I would like to see a Green Lantern MM. :D
