Are you capable of a piece of work on that scale? Big ups if you are.

Have you ever seen this?

15,000 layer file that is 1.7 gb in size flattened out. Took the artist 11 months of work. It's 40"x120".

From scratch. I wanna shake that guy's hand.
Oh, no no no. I'm nowhere near the caliber of that guy. I might be able to make that moon image, but painting such a grand image on computer is really a test of patience.

@the picture: Very nice.

Z.

Gonna have to bust my ass to get that app complete tomorrow.

School Tuesday (ugh). I do have a new class titled Contemporary Issues though, with one of the better teachers at the school.

I need to catch up on the naruto shippuuden series. I just saw episode 1+2, but there is no one seeding the early episodes. can someone send me a link where I can download episodes 3 and onward?

Morning, OTT.

I'm finding it harder and harder to get up for work. This happens every year at this time. In two weeks, when I have my review and they dangle that carrot again, things will look up...Then again, if I don't get that carrot after the great year I had, it might be time to 'consider other options'.

But I always say that...

Morning OTT. First day of classes and the shit has already hit the fan. I had to work a security detail because we were so short scheduled, so my schedule today is:

- Work - 6:00-10:00
- Class - 10:30-1:30
- Work - 2:00-6:00
- Work - 7:00-7:00

Great.
So after saying I'd stick around here and keep posting during the semester, I vanished for a week. The reason?

I got into a car accident on January 1st.

Here's what happened:
I was driving back to college so I could go to work the next afternoon. I went to switch lanes so I could change highways and hit a patch of ice between the lanes. I spun out, hit the guardrail and bounced off, and then, the part that's the real bitch...

There was a family in their car on the side of the road because they'd run out of gas. I spun into the back end of their car.

The good news is that nobody was hurt, and that my insurance is going to cover their car. Not sure if it'll cover mine - it's ten years old, and even though the damage looked relatively minor to me they might just try to junk it - but we'll see about that.

The part that I'm pissed off about is that I got a ticket for "reckless driving," which seems absurd given the circumstances - it was night, I wasn't speeding, and there were a TON of crashes in other spots and on other highways in the area, judging from the radio. My grandfather worked in insurance for 40+ years and says that I should be able to get it down to some kind of conditional speeding ticket (too fast for the conditions, even though I was only managing to keep up with the flow of traffic), but he also says I'll probably need an attorney...which I really, REALLY can't afford. A few of my other relatives are saying that I don't need one, though, and I do have a former uncle who's a lawyer so I guess there's still some hope there.

So, bottom line: I'm fine, car may or may not be, and I've spent the last few days feeling guilty/panicky/bitter about the whole thing. This will definitely throw a dent into my ability to try to find CAG deals...or to buy groceries, for that matter. Here's hoping my friends aren't up for letting me starve this semester.
I'm in the same boat as you buddy. I was in an accident on black Friday. I was coming around a turn and I slid off the road into a group of trees. It was purely accident and my car ended up being totaled and therefore the state police had to be called. I got charged with something which basically reads that I was in violation of operating a vehicle outside a laned roadway. Its bullshit. It was an accident. I wouldnt purposely drive my car off the road into the woods. So anyway, I contested the charges. I'm gonna be in court next Monday to fight it. I shall report back the results.

Wubb, feel free to send me an invite if you're doing legendary coop. I desperately need to go through that so I can snag the final two achievements and 250 points. I can help with any skulls you need.
Yeah I'd be up for some Legendary co-op but I'm really not very good at the game.

Played some team slayer for the first time yesterday and it was fun. I think it would be a lot more fun with a few friends as my team as this was a lot of everyone just taking off in different directions as soon as the match started with no one on my team talking at all. But there was still a match or two where a few of us stayed somewhat together and felt like a team.

Anyone know where the option is to change who you can hear on Live? Somehow my current options have it so I can only hear Live members who are on my list... I've poked around a little, but can't figure out how to change it.

Feel free to send me an invite if ya see me online. I'll help you crush the opposition.
Just dumped my cheerios in my OJ. FTL.
It's not good to start drinking so early in the morning.

I might take you up on that. We should party up for some social multiplayer as well.

Why is NBC airing a new American Gladiators against the BCS championship game tonight? That is the dumbest idea ever.
One word, wubb: ratings
Well yeah, that was my point. I see someone who'd be into American Gladiators as more likely to be into college football than a viewer who'd be pumped for that new Dance War show. (ABC is airing that againt AG and the game.) Seems like it's just going to get crushed in the ratings, but maybe that's why I'm not a network executive.

Ya see rudy, people have DVRs. Which means AG can be DVR'd while you watch the college football. Now go have a jello pudding pop.

But I don't have any pudding pops. :whistle2:(
Networks always try to line-up similar shows against one another.
Yeah, I guess that's what they're doing. I suppose the BCS champ. isn't the ratings juggernaut of the superbowl.

GW - Don't know if you'll read this or not but in most states Reckless Driving is a somewhat serious charge. I'd get an attorney. Or at least talk to an attorney or two and see what they think or somehow try to figure out the likely penalty for that charge. But of course it seems unlikely an attorney is going to say "Oh no you don't need an attorney for that, please don't give me your money."
Every time I see an ad for The Bucket List, I want to punch someone in Hollywood in the face.
I hear ya. Same (if not worse) goes for Meet the Spartans. Oh ho ho Donald Trump and Paris Hilton impersonators are so funny. It looks like an hour and half of really bad Mad TV skits.

Morning OTT.

I will let the Bucket List slide as a sentimental movie but there is NO excuse for Meet Spartans, what is sad is that some people actually find it FUNNY. That is sad.
It was corrupted. : (

I found out this morning.
What Torrent client do you use? If you use Utorrent try that Force Re Check option and let some of it redownload and see if it works.
Stupid NGS not having a way to load or exit to the main menu without dying.
I hate it when games have that, I play MGS 3 right now and it sucks that whenever I screw up and want to reload I have to reset the game or die to get a chance to reload.
No Country for Old Men and I Am Legend looked  though.

NCFOM didn't have the blurred watermark either.
Can I get a link to NCFOM? I'll pay you $$$$$$
Why couldn't ya get into COD4?

Too fast for you?
More dead time compared to Halo 3 for me. I think some of the maps are too large or something. Also WTF is up with people killing me from helicopters?

Don't know a price yet wahoo.

three kill streak - uav radar.
five kill streak - airstrike on the map where you want (usually works 100% better w/ someone using a uav at the same time)
seven kill streak - helicopter backs you up and flys around mowing people down.

I would think you'd like the meatier game, but I'm always wrong. :] Personally, I think COD4 has way more to offer than Halo 3.

Ah, so there's no point in shooting at the helicopter? I thought maybe they were in the gunner seat or something and you could pick them off.

I think I might be able to get into the challenges and stuff but I haven't unlocked any of that yet. FFA on it just doesn't seem as fun as slayer on Halo. I might plug away on it some more but yesterday I played a bit of Halo 3 after some COD4 and Halo was just more fun to me.

I'm sure the XBL problems aren't helping my impressions.

I did manage to get in a match or two with Inufaye and Rei (us plus a couple others vs. 5 or 6 guys from some clan. 2 of them were really really good.) We had a couple situations where we were all together defending a house or whatever and that was pretty fun.

You can ruin their fun and shoot down the Helicopters as soon as they come out.

Assuming you've got RPGs or a couple of people w/ RPDs or some other machine gun. Once you start leveling up and getting more weapons/options/attachments/perks, it becomes a lot more fun.
Ah, so there's no point in shooting at the helicopter? I thought maybe they were in the gunner seat or something and you could pick them off.
If you have a LMG or RPG, you can shoot at the copter and take it down.

As far as CAGs and liking CoD4 over Halo 3, the real question is, how many of the people playing CoD4 have 1000/1000 both Cars and Open Season?

Yeah. That's your causality right there.

Hey, ya'll into nuggets?

Is it true that the McRib sandwich is back? I feel like eating one just for nostalgia's sake. Any oldheads around long enough to remember the Flintstones movie promotion knows what I'm talkin bout. And I aint talkin bout that wii.

So I'm too hardcore for COD4. You are very wise.
