Don't you live in Silicon Valley? The fuck are you doing shopping for a SATA card at BB? They do have those 20 packs of Verbatims on sale for $30 this week though.
I loved the movie Juno.
*LEAVES*
I really need to go and see that movie. I loves me some Michael Cera and Jason Bateman.

Music, what's really ridiculous is that you have a brand new black laptop with no AIM on it yet.

Word is that COD team shit is busted so I dunno if it's gonna happen tonight, I'm thinkin the Burnout Demo, try out the new challenges they added and then pop over to COD and see if it's no longer broken. Hell, could be fixed right now.

or now.

I'm getting verbatims from dell with the $25 off coupon. I should be able to get a 10 pack for around 6 bucks. And I dont know where else to look for SATA cards. Fry's has the monopoly on computer components....and either i'm not searching hard enough or they suck with inventory.

Word on the street is it's fixed. fuck the demo. It's time. Shootin people in the face time. 25 headshots from the Golden Gun.

Good looking out.

I would feel guilty but she was like 18, maybe 20 IIRC. Loved how the creep in the movie was a dead ringer for Job from Arrested Development.

If you can wait the week for those to ship from Dell you might as well get that SATA card from newegg. You'll probably get it before your Dell shit anyways.

Weird thing is that both SATA Card brands I got from BB and Fry's(SIIG and PNY) is that they had no sign that it would be a silicon image chipset. I'm gonna use my friend's comp which has SATA ports on the motherboard, but I'm a little weary about it. If it doesn't work out, I'll order from newegg.

I will upload my brothers band. They are jazz fusion, pretty damn good also.

I will go out with the girlfriend to see Juno then. Bateman and Cera are funny as hell.
I feel bad for Cera. $$$$y is gonna be George Michael for life.
Nah - as soon as he starts to look older, he's going to have to find something else to play.
Mailing out something with a postmarked by Jan 8 deadline on the 8th would be alright, correct?
I'd say yes.
If I don't get the scholarship for the exchange program I want to do, Moxio, it'll be all your fault.
Is there any reason why you can't send it out today, so it's postmarked by the 7th?

I'm not done with it.

6 weeks in Japan over the summer.

I think I'll finish the app tomorrow and drop it off at the post office before they close at 6.

Thanks!

Not until the Spring, unfortunately.

I'm 99.999...% confident I'll get in though. It's the physux honors program that accepts like 30 people a year :)-x) that I'm worried about.
Still, standard physics at UT is nothing to scoff at, but damn would the honors be nice.
Nice, but the whole "moon creating a surreal image" idea is getting overdone. At least I think so.
The castle doesn't fit in with it, I agree.

Still, it's about 12 billion times better than anything I could do, and the moonscape itself is nice.

Well, to be honest, the image is not too hard to create. The moon is easily made, stocks are simply inserted (along with the reflections), etc. The fact that the artist decided to insert many different stocks into the image makes it much better.

Really? I see that kinda stuff and I have no idea how they even started. I suppose it'd be easier if you understood the process/had experience your self though.

One of these days, I'm going to teach myself how to do stuff like this...

I guess I could go and make a huge post about how to do that but I'd like to go to sleep tonight.

Check this, it's unreal: http://radojavor.deviantart.com/art/HMS-Royal-George-73953647
Dear lord, it took him a month to finish it.

Jaw-dropping.

edit: he has some more really good stuff in his gallery too
Yeah, and the original res is 3000 x 1500.

Only respect for him: that is honestly very tough to do in Photoshop, no less, AND keep your sanity at the same time.
I can't even imagine.
I wish I had time to do stuff like that. Back in the day I was big on vectors, and in the past couple of years I've only been able to do small sigs and crap.

:/

Are you capable of a piece of work on that scale? Big ups if you are.

Have you ever seen this?

15,000 layer file that is 1.7 gb in size flattened out. Took the artist 11 months of work. It's 40"x120".

From scratch. I wanna shake that guy's hand.
