Mirrors Edge PS3 $11 at Sams Club B&M - Possible YMMV

I just picked up Mirrors Edge today at the Sams Club in Santa Fe NM for $11.01 - marked price. Not sure if this is only the local store or other stores are doing this as well. Could not find listed online, so may be a close out deal or something.

Well if you are a member then the game section is worth visiting. I saw the DDR X bundle at my Sam's club one time. I didn't think it was worth posting about though.

Anyway, here are 3 tips.

1. Sometimes Sam's Club has a coupon at the desk where you can shop without a membership and only pay 10% extra.

2. The collegiate membership is $40 but you get a $15 gift card with it. You have to have a college e-mail and a college ID to sign up for it.

3. There may be a summer membership available now for cheap.

None of these are worth it just to get this game but I am just throwing it out there.
 
The last time I went to Sam's, I only needed one item for a dinner I was making for a friend. I asked for a temp card, but they couldn't find me in the database when I told them I didn't have my card and they WOULDN'T let me in (well, wouldn't let me checkout at least)!
 
Will definitley go to check this out. I got it on PC off Steam and finished it. But I'd like to play it on the big-screen...for 11 bucks anyway.
 
I'm pretty sure it is YMMV. I was at a Sams Club Saturday, and it wasn't that price, although at a different Sams club a few weeks ago it was about $18. The one I was at Saturday did have God of War: Chains of Olympus PSP for $10, but when I tried to buy they said my membership had expired :(. I know my wife wanted to change our membership, but she wasn't with me, so I didn't renew. I asked if they could give me a day pass, but they said they don't do that.
 
I work at Sam's Club and all prices are YMMV. Home Office sets the prices and does the markdowns for the most part, unless a manger marks something down cause of condition or to just get it out the door and recoup something for it. As far as passes go we don't give them out in the club you will need one when you get there or you'll have to buy a membership. For you cheap asses memberships are returnable for a full refund the whole length of your membership.

Thanks, that expired in May, though. I know they do one-day memberships, they even had a pile of temporary membership cards on the counter - I pointed them out, and she said that was for when people sign up until they get their card in the mail. Funny, when I got my membership card just a few months ago (yes, the one that expired), they made the card for me in-store. The woman I was talking to was not pleasant, and I didn't really want to get into a heated argument just for 1 game and a box of padded envelopes.

I was at Sams (Walker Springs, Knoxville, TN) just yesterday and it was around $20. (I think about $19 or so.) I checked it since it's a game I was waiting to drop a bit more.

Must be YMMV.
 
Price is YMMV, but I scored it for $14 a week or so ago at a Sam's Club B&M in Oklahoma City. So, if you want this game and have a Sam's membership, it's worth checking out, I'd say.

I love the concept of the setting, and the graphics and stuff, but I'm not so sure I liked the demo :whistle2:/ I'd probably still pick it up for that price though.
 
Houston, TX Sams Club at Fannin had Mirror's Edge PS3 market at $18.02, but rang up for $14.01.

They also had 80GB PS3 for $317
 
Sam's is soooooooooooo ymmv. I was at Sam's today and they had Resistance 2 for $24.01 and Resistance 1 for $29.98. Huh? And at another Sam's they had Resistance 2 for $54.95. Huh? One Sam's had ME for $18.84 and another for $35.98.
 
good price? i would say thats an awesome price, i have only seen a handful of games that low that were released less than a yr ago
 
I don't much about that mobgob website, but I read up on it and decided to try it out since my Sams doesn't even carry it...

I hope I don't get scammed... :(
 
When signing up for the mobgob website it says my email address is invalid. I entered 3 separate email addresses, yet it still claims they are invalid. I really wanted to give them my $10...
 
I just ordered a copy using the mobgob link also. Hopefully we get our PS3 Mirror's Edge soon. ^^ If anybody is still interested in the site and link, there is ONE left. Otherwise, good luck tracking down a copy for a good price at Sam's Club. The other solution I'd recommend is using cheap $10 eastore.com Cash Cards picked up during the Best Buy sale to get it. I'm trying to save mine for Bioware games though. Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect 2, and The Old Republic should be amazing.

i had trouble like a previous poster but i got it workin once i used my girl's email. sorry for the others that tried but couldnt get it to work. sorry to tell u but i nabbed the last one:cool:. 5 dollars for the game and another 5 for shipping. unbelievable. i tried to google mobgob reviews but found nothing,,? well some porn results came up which i book marked for later but there doesnt seem to be much info bout this place. im just hoping for the best.

I wanted to buy one but when I clicked add to cart it kept going to my cart and saying I had nothing in it -_-. Missed this deal :(
