Tigers looked good. Lemme just say, Zumaya is an ANIMAL. At least I called Stl. over San Diego :p

Wow great thing they packed the Dodgers bats early to head back to the West Coast.
Damn, they looked horrible, oh well, other teams have come back from down 0-2.
Hell, who am I kidding, just please don't get swept.

Hell yeah big win for the Mets. Huge for them to go up 2-0 in this series with out Hernandez and Pedro. Just hopw they take 1 in LA so we dont have to bring this back to NY. Bring on the Cardinals.

yeah Mets! It is going to be a tough road to the WS going through St. Louis due to Carpenter (he could win 3 games if it's timed right). As long as they pitch around Pujols and let Rolen or Edmunds hit I think they will be OK. The Padres are stupid - how are they letting Pujols go 5/8?

Can't wait to see how crazy Comerica Park is tonight. Gonna have my ass in front of the tube. Should be a hell of a game. If Zumaya comes in tonight the park is going to go fucking bonkers.

Why all the hate on the Twins on CAG?
i don't hate the twins. i like the twins but they are playing the a's and i'm from oakland, you know who i would go for right?
4-0 now.
4-1 Were coming!

(I can't believe we have almost as many errors as runs in this series) Only 1 run hasn't been a solo homerun and that was due to a fluke triple at the end of game one. Yuk
i've got a dilemma: i want the a's to sweep but i also want to go to game 4 tomorrow. what to do? what to do?
Let the Twins win.
Add a walked in run to the crappiness that's been this series (and another error)
And its time to get the fork out.

Yep. Man, they have really taken a fun season for us fans and completely stanked it away.

Now that the pressure is off Im sure theyll score like 4 runs just to make it not look so bad....no nevermind

Hey!, don't be so hard on the Twins, no-one thought they could ever catch the Tigers but they did. Don't forget what Yogi Berra said "it ain't over till it's over".

I'm a Dodgers fan....now that's a team that blows their chances!!!

It's not that they lost, it's that they lost by playing terribly....5 errors, walked in a run, wild pitch for a run, inside the park homer 1 hit with RISP, 5 of their 7 runs were solo shots. Yuck.

Im still glad they made the regular season fun, but that sort of play can only be looked at as choking.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. The Dodgers didn't look to good the other day having 2 runners thrown out at the plate within a couple seconds. How embarassing! I think that play alone indicated how the whole series is gonna go. They didn't look like a good team at all in the 2nd game. They have been coming from behind a lot this year, but it looks like they are going to be the same old hard luck and hapless Dodgers during these playoffs.

What really pisses me off are all the ex Dodgers on the Mets team...S. Green, Jose Valentin, G. Mota, P. LoDuca, D. Sanchez....I'll bet they're having a good laugh!
I really hope they let Zumaya get in for a couple batters late in the game if there's a huge lead.
i will still hold true that Zumaya will be the best pitcher on that staff..just an opinion

give it a 4th hell yeah to the mets. what a way for Tom Glavine to show up and prove everyone wrong. if he pitches like this throughout the playoffs i think the loss of pedro an hernandez will hurt alot less. and what a way for reyes to come through to. and what a way for tigs to ace the yanks at home. give it up to arod stinking in the playoffs as usual.

Only one comment about the Tigers domination of the Yankees? Ah well.

One more at home, baby. If they can't beat Jaret Wright, they don't really deserve to move on.

Suprised nobody mentioned the sad news that Buck O' Neill passed away at the age of 94. How he's not in the Hall-Of-Fame is a fucking joke.

Couple of my friends just left. We were going nuts watching the game. Had no idea Kenny had that kind of performance left in him. Man that was something to behold.
Ashamed to be a yankee.
You should be. Yankees pay how much a season, and they only come out 2 games ahead of the Tigers? For shame. Guess it proves that paid for pennets arne't a sure thing. This is good for New York. Hopefully they will have a 12 year losing season streak. Then we will see how many real Yankee fans there truely are.

Anyway, :applause: :applause: :applause: to the Tighers for playing just awesome. Never thought it would take a bunch of rookies and two old guys to make it to the playoffs. I am hardly counting the Bonx Bombers out, but if the Tigers lose to the Yanks in the first round, well it has been one hell of a ride. One I haven't been on in 19 years.

I don't think losing a couple of games in the playoffs is a glimpse towards a losing future for the Yankees.

Though it would be nice.
Now what will happen if Kenny Rogers comes out his next start and just stinks up the place?
Well, that would just make the playoffs an extension of his performance during the season then.

Tell me, where did I put that? All I said was HOPEFULLY they will have a 12 year losing season streak. Notice that I said that I am not counting the Yankees out of the playoffs yet. With the amount of money being poured into the team, it should be a sure thing for them to have a winning season. They have been in post seaon more often than not in the past decade+ and the players have tons of post season experience. The only way I am going to celebrate before the game is over is if the Tigers are 5000 run ahead of the Yanks, top of the 9th 2 outs, 2 strikes, no balls and the entire Yankees team has sars, cancer and the deadly motaba virus. Even then I will be holding my breath. Also, you should note the statements were broken up by a period. Although in the same paragraph, neither one is related to the other. It wasn't,"Since the Yankees lost two games in the post season, they are going to have a 12 year losing season streak!" I guess I should have broken them up better by saying I know this doesn't relate to what I am saying next...or I could have put a few more periods inbetween them.

Take it easy Francis. Just interpret my statement to mean "don't get your hopes up."
