How is it rushing out when according the Baseball Tonight over 13 teams wanted Hillenbrand? We gave up a Jeremy Accardo, Shea bailed us out in 3 games and hit 2 GW's. 03' does seem far away, next year will be a hasstle as well.

No-Cal and losing go together? How's that football team of yours and their championships? Oh wait, yeah they bailed and came up here.

Get the fuck outta here.
Get the fuck outta here. Wow guess I hit a nerve. And way to go to the football card, cause the two teams up North are amazing. When do we get our Niners are winning the Superbowl prediction again.

As much fun as I am having with you and your boyfriend, JPod, I have a game to go watch. Have fun next week. Oh wait that's right, nothing for Giants fans to do next week.
Yeah, I hope the Dodgers get in too, but I've been a Dodger Fan long enough to realize that if they can find a way to blow it they will.....one consolation is I'm thankful I don't live in Chicago and root for the Cubs.
I do have to agree the Dodgers will probably find a way to implode as usual. But if they can get hot like they were earlier, and like they appear to be now, maybe we can pull something out of our asses. Or maybe we will go home in the first round. Who knows.
Wow twice with the same witty comeback. Damn, you must be fucking retarded. Here is a friendly hint, mix in a theasaurs every now and then. So go back to chugging your horse cock, but it is good to know that you don't guzzle the cum. Now please you are wasting time and space on this topic.
Here's a cryptic message for ya: ouy=gabehcuod

I wouldnt expect you to understand the 'Doesnt guzzle horse cum' comment.

Wow sorry I don't get your high brow humour. Oh wait, it's because you are fucking retarded. You know what though, you win. The simple fact that I have wasted ten minutes of my life replying to your asinine comments, so take some pride that your repeated Douchbad comments, really stuck it to me. I mean obviously I came into this battle of wits, way to overprepared. It was like taking a gun to a knife fight.

Sorry about that, Here let me correct it.

*too

Go Mets baby!!!

I have a feeling we'll be seeing a few high scoring games if they advance. Either that or they'll get blown out every game.

Enough with the "My dick is bigger than yours" bullshit.

If its not baseball related, leave it out of this topic. That includes baseball related bashing.

If you want to act like children, do it in the OTT, and not here.

And damn those Cards for winning.

Sorry Mr. Topic Creator, my bad and I apologize for getting sucked in. I just get so fired up when it's Dogers Vs. Giants.

Back to the topic, who would I rather have the Dodgers face in the first round. Mets or Cards.

Mets are a little down with the loss of Pedro, but damn thier offense can sure make up for it. Plus having Wagner to close games, I have to say it I think I would rather face the Cards. They are struggling, closer situation is up in the air, and the offense is good, but not as good at the Mets.

Maybe, just maybe we could as an all California NLCS.
God I hope not the Padres have rolled through us all year long.

Here's what you would want to happen, the Cards losing tomorrow, along with an Astros win, would force them to play Monday to win the division. Then you hope your least favorite team can play them in a marathon game, only to lose in the 15th inning and be ready to play Tuesday. You don't want to face the Astros if they make it though.
I think without Pedro at full strenght or even with him there the Mets will win the NL but lose to the Yanks in the WS. Unless someone beats the Yankees I think the Mets will wind up losing to them. I think they stack up well against Minnesota, Detroit or Oakland even without Pedro. But that Yankee lineup is ridiculous. If the Mets get a big starter or two in the offseaon they will be the team to beat. I'm not to happy with Hernandez getting the Game 1 start. But they have to work with what they have. Hopefully we score 5 + runs a game.
yeah i hope we score even more to get us through..I think El Duque could be fine if he lost before that start...that guy is so inconsistent. He wins than loses than wins again. i dont get it with him sometimes but he has playoff exp and was lights out last year with the ChiSox..hopefully he can do repeat pefromances throughout the playoffs or atleast in the first series. Minaya needs to address the age of the staff..a guy like Zito would be very well what we need to replenish that because guys like Trachs and Glavine arent getting any younger. I also wished we had Duaner Sanchez back. he could give me more comfort i n close games than depending on Roberto Hernandez for that.

Mota has been doing a great job to fill in for sanchez which is shocking. You know they will go after Zito or another high caliber all star pitcher in the off season. I liked the amount of runs they put up last night. Hopefully that's something they will be doing in the playoffs.
The Tigers don't even have to win, as long as the Twins lose. But they are both battling to not play the Yankees.
Neither of them have been doing much battling the last few days. If the Twins batting doesn't pick up, its going to be a short ALDS.

Oh well, at least todays game has a semblance of meaning. Although I doubt the Tigers can drop 3 straight to the Royals...can they?

It all depends on whether or not Bonderman decides to show up today.

Yeah, but we have crappy Silva pitching. He's been terrible lately. Bonderman might not even have to do anything.

Time for the A's to get tickets to Minneapolis.

The improbable has happened, the Royals sweep the Tigers.

Tigers got to go into Yankee Stadium
Can't wait till Tuesday, i'm pulling for a Twins/Yankees.
I'm glad the Twins won the central, but I actually was kind of hoping for the Yanks first.

On the bright side... there's no way expectations for the Tigers going into the playoffs could be any lower at this point. Winning a game against the Yankees will be a stunning accomplishment!

once you hit rock bottom there is only looking up.
well looks like these are the picthing matchups for gm1 and gm2 of this series

Roberston vs Wang
Verlander vs Mussina

yeah in a 3 game set..you guys better hope to take atleast 1 from the yanks.

yah he won for us today too...i think minaya might have a knack for the rebound player such as Valintin and Mota. these two guys were all but out the MLB and minaya brings them and they are stellar. yeah they have to go for a high priced all star. if it was the ideal i would love for the Oswalt rumour earlier in the season to come true. that would blow my socks off.

Yeah, the Tigers did have a mini-collapse there. I still think they can surprise the Yankees, but fans here seem to not be expecting much. It's still horrible they could not win 1 game at the end.....too many opportunities missed. Oh well.

Anyways, at least the game is in prime-time....so that's nice, I won't have to miss it since the other game is early.

Hopefully the pitching goes back to the beginning of the season. I know we'll have Kenny Rogers going in Game 3 and Bonderman in Game 4 (if necessary)

Yeah I wanted Oswalt too but didn't he sing an exstention with the astros? They would have to trade for them. I really hope they dont give up Milledge or Pelfrey for anyone. We will see though. Can't wait for wednesday.

yeah i dont want another Kazmir like trade to happen again. we cant affod to lose anymore prospects. i think we can live without milledge but no way to pelfry. he is gonna be great. im geared up tuesday and wednesday. wish i could go to the games.

Yeah, that sucks for us Twins fans. 12:00 game means I'll be missing it.
It would be really crappy if you were in Oakland with a 10:00 am start.

Only thing about Milledge is that Floyd will be gone after this year. Thats the main reason they should keep him. ANd i like his speed at the bottom of the lineup.

What sucks is that, if Liriano was healthy, the Twins would win the WS IMO.

I got the Padres/Yankees, a part of me is pulling for the A's.

So it looks like my money is on anyone other than those 3.

What, my track record proves otherwise? :D

yeah milledge could be quite dangerous in the bottom of the lineup as cano is in the yanks lineup..i think once milledge comes up and we get a pitcher i think we will contend even better next year than this year..

i got subway series 2006 mets/yanks. i just want to see it again..and if it does happen i want sweet revene for 2000.

Of course the day I start my new job the playoffs start. At least I'll be able to catch the late games. My prediction is also Mets/Yankees. But I hope someone in the AL knocks out the Yankees before the WS.

I have a feeling the Mets aren't gonna make it out of the first round.

i have a hard time buying the yanks/mets again...neither team have great pitching staffs right now....wang is solid, but mussia historically chokes in the playoffs and johnson is hurt/been mediocre for the entire season. There bullpen is a joke, and allegedly rivera will only do 1ip in the playoffs

the mets really don't have a shut down ace

^^Where did this A's fan come from?

Pretty crappy game, the Twins definately seemed to be out of sorts hitting. Zito definately had a lot to do with that, but they weren't being patient at all.

I hope Boof can handle the pressure tommorow.

I've always been here. It's just that usually everyone is talking about other teams. I will also be at the game on Friday.
