This would be an epic fight. They would have HUGE PPV numbers if UFC could pull it off. Still, UFC is probably going to let Lesnar loose a few more times to keep the gravy train coming on PPVs and then throw out a Fedor.

No more Jon Fitch or AKA fighters in the UFC...for now.

After reading the article, Dana White just seems like such a money grubbing whore. He wants these fighters to sign their name away for life and he makes it sound like it's a simple decision. It makes me sad, because Jon Fitch is and was one of my favorites since I saw him fight live in Columbus. I'm sure he'll move on to one of the other orginizations until Dana White gets his head oout of his ass.

he wont move on. hes in the ufc as of last night.
according to a dana white interview hes had problems with some of aka's management, not their fighters and basically said, "fuck you" go somewhere else then.
apparently the video game likeness contract problem was just the last straw. either way, its been ironed out.
i too like fitch a lot and im glad to see him in the ufc where he belongs.
 
Oh man that video game contract. You know I like the UFC and all but Dana puts too much pressure on these guys and contracts. I know its just a video contract but to say he wouldn't be able to go forth with another company for something related to games and conceal him in this binding contract is sufficating. Fitch is really good and had an unbelievable streak before fighting GSP and to throw him away just because he declines the contract is harsh. He put out all lot of good fights for the company and Dana is being Dana and letting his feelings distort any type of negotiations. Ahh I don't know anymore....though I'm happy Fitch manned up and decline. Dana really is bullying the hell out of people but I know business is just business. Anyways, Koschek and Cain Valesquez might get the can as well since they're AKA members too. Oh yeah, Fitch will lose 70 to 80% of his sponsorship funds, which he makes most of his money from, thats the sad thing.

Bob Sapp has a huge head. Quite possibly the biggest head I have ever seen. It's like three times the size of Ted Kennedy's head---and Sapp's not even Irish.

i think forrests problem is a lack of power in his hands. techinically hes solid he had plenty of shots, unfortunately he cant end a fight with one.

Haha... It might have been a dick move by rampage hitting the other dude while he was down, but I don't really blame him.. I could picture myself in his shoes.. he had to have been so pumped up getting the KO, and after getting beat by him twice and getting shoved by him at the weigh in.. Not to say it was justified, but I think it was a heat of the moment type of thing.

complete cock move. hes not the only guy to have done that. it just shows a total lack of class.
not only was he out but the ref was in between them and he still threw two more after that.

wandy didnt touch him after he KO'd him twice.

I just really dislike behavior like that.
not to mention the crotch kissing crap evans pulled. that guy is a pos too. I was hoping his big mouthed wife would slip entering the ring.

Yeah, I still think Mir's a nice guy, despite what I saw in TUF. Mir appears to have returned to the form I like to associate with him.

I like Evans---but I like Griffin even more. Evans versus Jackson is going to be great. I think Evans' speed and power will win over Jackson's incredible strength.

I suspect Mir will submit Lesnar. However, all it takes it one lucky punch to win a fight. Lesnar is a beast. He may very well knockout Mir.

i still think he beats rampage atleast 5/10 fights. hes not technical, look at the ko, watch his hand placement during that exchange and watch rampage's. a hook from rampage, unseen by his oppenent landing directly on the chin will put out anybody.
wanderlei has always won because hes a monster, the old chute box style.

despite my comments about rampage in an earlier post, i think hes a helluva fighter. i think hes at the very top of 205 either #1 or 2. i think hes a bad matchup for evans.
evans has better wrestling than rampage but hes not going to do to what he did to forrest to rampage.
evans cannot punch with rampage and he doesnt have the kicks to keep rampage away like forrest did.
rampage has great hands, great head movement, and very good footwork. and hes got KO anybody power.

hopefully we see machida fight the winner of evans v rampage.

I think Wanderlei should really think about retirement. He has lost 4 out of his last 5 fights if I'm not mistaken, 3 of those losses were BRUTAL knockouts. He might only be 32 years old but he has taken the punishment of someone who is 42. He can't beat people with his mental games anymore like he did in Pride. When he was killing people over in Japan he beat most of them before they ever stepped foot in the ring. If he can't let himself tone down his training so he doesn't kill himself everyday and train more on actual in ring technique then he's done. It sucks to say and think that but I'm afraid its true.

He just broke... he was starting to gas and when he got caught it was his excuse to get out. He could have gotten out I think.

Anyone else incredibly disappointed in Shogun? How can you gas as bad as the master of gassers Mark Coleman?

yeah he did something similar in the mousasi fight except mousasi is a lot better than belcher.
i dont know what his deal is. if you watch the guy fight its obvious hes VERY talented. I have a feeling he doesnt spend much time with the ATT guys, and i think hed benefit if he did.

Im not so much dissappointed in shogun as I am bummed that hes not the same fighter he was 2 years ago.
He has other problems, the dissolution of the old chute box team is a big one IMO. I dont think hes been able to surround himself with the right type of people who can get him where he neds to be. that and dealing with the knee problems apear to have been too much. It possible we never see him come back fully which would be a shame because when he was healthy and with a good camp he was AWESOME.
