really? Already? Got the boring NBA game on while multitasking and there was a commercial for Black Ops...of course they make sure to mention Treyarch...might hop on for a bit.

Probably won't play for a while I have quite a backlog of games to play. I will play randomly when I feel like killing, but for the most part I will see you when the new maps come out.
 
Fell asleep last night, since I hurt my back the weather has taken it's toll on me and I've been falling asleep really easily.

My neighbor's kitten got loose yesterday at around the time that my neighbor went into labor, so my at the request of the panicking mother of my neighbor, I helped get her kitten back. She said I could just pick up the fucker and bring him in. So I was like okay, I'll help out, let me just put the combat Rottie away because she's only like 80 times the size of this piece of crap kitten. Put the dog away, came back, got the punk kitten trapped in a fairly closed side yard section and when I grab it, the fucker bites, claws and wigs out. It was pandemonium. Kitten ended up scratching up my hands and bit my left thumb just below the knuckle, puncturing deep enough to make gaming annoying(left thumb stick anybody?).

I ended up going back inside, grabbing three kitchen rags and tried it again while the kitten was looking sleepy in the corner of the garage door. wrapped my hands in the towels, grabbed kitten which proceeded to wig out yet again and when it realized I wasn't trying to skin it alive and stir fry it, it calmed down enough for me to kick on the door and throw the less than 5 pound ferocious monster back into their apartment.

Moral of the story? If your neighbors 5 pound kitten bites harder than your 80 pound Rottweiler puppy, you may just want to drown it in holy water and call it an exorcism.

My hands hurt :cry: and there will be margaritas on Friday.

been trying to clean up my backlog as well...fun playing with the group last night until Hito C4'd me to end the match.

Pre-ordering COD:Black Ops today on Amazon. anybody else getting this?
 
The lack of penetration on the SCAR-H still amazes me. Increasingly useless on maps like Storm and such where there is a lot of things to shoot through.

Also, anyone else think that unless you play Stimulus, the maps come up once every 3000 matches if you are playing in a normal mode?
 
I just got home to a hot house, somebody decided to cook dinner and not open enough windows and stuff. Once I cool down I'll be on. Dinner will be ready shortly so expect me around 9:30ish.

We were playing S&D our 6 vs their 5 on Scrapyard and somebody killed one of theirs but all of a sudden I was the last one standing on the team. I'm fairly sure they rushed A side because I was hovering at B with my Thumper when the announcer told me I was seconds away from being prison raped by the 4 other players on the opposing team. I ducked into the warehouse next to the exploded propane tanks and gas trailer, found my corner, chucked my C4 and waited. Part of the problem was I wasn't making enough noise to get any attention, so the clock winded down to like a minute or so before I got the bright idea to throw my smoke outside.

First guy saw me from the forklift entrance of it, sniper no less and he couldn't find a shot so he crept around infront of me, blew his ass up with my premeditated C4. Snagged the scavenger for more C4, they knew they were being killed by a cornered fox so they put the hustle on it. I blew the next guy up in more or less the same position as the first, snagged another C4, blew up the next guy after he came into the warehouse from my left side. The last guy was trying to peek-a-boo me and I didn't have any C4 left since I had to run out to grab the scavenger pack, I decided to rush him. Smacked him once with the shield and he started panicking, shooting and trying to dropshot. Smacked him twice for the win, snagged the "owned." title and emblem for game winner with riot shield and I just heard groans from the opposing team and cheers from our guys.

I just know that when the announcer said I was the last one standing, I was somewhere between fucked and butt fucked. It was pwneriffic and definitely one I could have sold tickets to because you know people were talking crap about me, having to watch me, lol.

By the by, I take out my headset when I'm the last one alive, I started doing that when there was just too much distraction going on(like Nubbles talking) and it's been extremely helpful since I don't have to adjust my headset when it falls out of my ear.
 
wish I could've been there...unfortunately the 3 year old had attitude and I ended up asleep in his room...waking up about 10:30 and decided it might be better off going to bed. I will be on later today, sometime around 6pm CDT.

If you haven't seen Kefka or I clutch S&D with a Riot Shield, it'll leave an impression on you. I find it hard to use in otherwise non-directed situations, where as Kefka uses it a lot in S&D as a mobile cover machine. To each their own, I just need to find a couple of sentry guns to abuse to finish those challenges.

No doubt....he was getting annoyed on Wed/Thurs when NO ONE was tailing him in S&D. I figured with 3 others running off with him someone would. I finally did on the last round & we got the drop on a guy...it lasted for 1 kill until we were flanked..and I was running with a silencer. I am thinking with that, run 2 guys with Riot Shields...second guy with it on his back....maybe I am over analyzing this one....I just know in Highrise it is easy to get flanked without knowing it.
 
Blast Shield only protects you from headshots and explosions, it's only a piece of head armor basically, the body is still vulnerable. Somebody said you can survive getting stuck with semtex with a blast shield but that would make it somewhat useless unless you set yourself up with claymores before hand.
 
The only thing i hate about blast shield is the fact you need to equip it every time. Me being in a rush forgets to put it on. so its essentially useless :(

But man o man if it could make me survive noob tubes with danger close I would rock that thing all the time.......

I'd be all over that if it were a bit better pictured, I really just want a three speed trigger button however. I'm not really ready to spend like $100 on a modded DS3 just yet however.

Why would you need a three speed trigger? For controlled burst fire?

The only issue I have with the DS3 is the fact that the analog sticks kinda suck compared to the 360 controller. I dont feel the right resistance if you no what I mean and I hate how the sticks are not indented. O well thats why I have a 360 to PS3 controller adaptor lol

In other news, I should be on for a good bit today. I'll probably mostly be playing red dead, but if you need a partner for multiplayer/spec ops I'll probably be up for it. Just send me a message via psn.
 
Getting pissed off lately because I've been pressing the right analog stick when I try to aim. Knifing air while the enemy shoots at you sucks.
 
If RPGs weren't in this game, i'd have quit a LONG time ago. They are what keeps me playing. I was going to stick to this prestige, but i hate the icon (the 5th one i think, it looks like 2nd prestige emblem but gold). So one more time..

Severely....most annoying...I think Madder laughed at me doing that in S&D over the weekend.....knifing with a 3-bar while the host runs Commando is almost as annoying.

Tonight wasn't too bad. A couple of games went kinda sideways but my personal best for the night was definitely the Team Death Match where I stole a Chopper Gunner and scored a Triple Kill predator for the Game Winner Kill Cam but the son of a bitch host pulled the plug or ejected the disc because we never migrated, thus cheating me out of my match bonus. I'm just glad there were 7 other people who saw it because it sounds like BS if I were to just brag about it, lol.

Yeah...it seemed like we either got into matches where people rage quit OR were doing a constant barrage of noob tubes. For some reason, when we all play Ground Wars, I have had the worst lag I can remember and still play the game. I decided to go tubing in our Crash domination GW match after sneaking up on a sniper, having his back only to find myself laying on the ground. My only pleasure in that was a double and triple tube kill when they were trying to defuse.

Not sure if I will be on tonight or not....I have the toddler as momma is going to a concert. I will be on tomorrow night and have the capture card ready.

Exact opposite for me. I hate RPG users and noob tube users. Everything else is fine.

Is it just me or do you guys see in increase in Riot Shield users? I'd never run into them before, but yesterday we ran into a few games with at least 1 riot shield guy.
