Modern Warfare 2 CAG Clan - Wednesday/Friday @ 7PST/10EST

This is to prove Mad's point about direction....or what a lack thereof does....

So I hop on tonight for a little action...wanted to get back to having claymores (OMA is my next goal for toobin). Anyway...wow, talk about bad company...finally get it then decide on 1 game of Domination.....get thrown into a Wasteland match...no thanks. Then Quarry...I figure okay....

Talk about people not knowing objectives....we were getting lightly molested...140ish to 105 at the time I noticed.....people on my team not talking...we have A only....I get Mr. Pavelow....someone takes B before I call it in.....we win 200 to 175 by holding all 3 the last couple of minutes. Seriously though....I call out to start that I don't have a runner on and we need multiples on B....6 people on A.....that is why we play as a team.

Woooo, my game came in the mail yesterday. I've been playing a lot of SSFIV lately, but if you guys want to play on non game nights, just send me a message or something. It's all right playing with randoms but CAG games are much more fun IMO.

Dude, Hands down.... after Saturday we should declare Saturday a CAG Holiday!!! We flat out won every game except two and one of those games I was eating food!

All I have to say is that was the best video game experience of my life!

Overall it seems like they are trying to make the game less realistic. Hopefully it doesn't stray too far away from CoD4-6.
 
All I want to do, is drive that toy car up Mad's ass, and blow him to pieces.

All in all, Black Ops looks like it will be a blast to play, as a team.

I see you still want to play Army.

Black Ops looks nice but it isn't as gritty for some reason. MW2 is downright grittier someway, somehow. Maybe it's the resolution but I like the realism in MW2 a whole lot. It's going to be hard to pull me away to a game that removes or cleans up that quality.

Then again, after I hit 10th, do all the challenges and so on, I don't really have much more reason to play MW2, so that makes me kinda sad face.

Hmm, I haven't heard this.

I would be shocked if there were dedicated servers for consoles. I'd bet any announcement they made was referring to the PC version after MW2 PC didn't have them.
 
Graphics look dope. And the guns look that much more real.

Mad, if you stop playing once you hit your desired prestige level, I am going to disown you... grrr. The whole point is playing together and decimating the opposition.
 
I may need some MW2 action tonight.....golfing in 115 heat index last night zapped all my energy....supposed to be this way through Thursday.

Lingering questions:

Is NF4Y actually going to make 2 straight game nights?
Is Black Ops going to replace WoW?
Will they implement Mohawk Grenades in Black Ops to draw him in? What about an Elf in camo to draw him in?

So many questions.....
 
I am almost 600% in multiplayer, so that would make it 6th or 7th prestige? I want to get to 9th because the emblem is that much cooler, and 10th prestige emblem looks like poo.

If you pay attention to the percentage when choosing multiplayer, every prestige goes into the next bracket. When you first hit level 70 you will be at 100%, then when you prestige for the first time you can go 100%-200%. And so on.

How did you get a picture of me? Stalker.

As for trophies, I still need to finish spec ops with 3 star difficulty: echo missions (juggernauts with only explosives, oil rig w/ hostages) and charlie mission (snatch and grab). Hint hint, fred, fix your mic and lets finish this... lol.

Rest assured, I have to finish all the challenges, not just hit 10th. So I'll still be around for a good while as I don't have the patience to not ninja kill scores of people every once in a while.

Hey, you were there when I Prestiged from 8th to 9th. It's hard not to level like that when people kept sacrificing themselves for my gratification.
 
Did anyone notice the different looking knife in the video? Explosive bow and arrow/toy card is amazing though, can't wait to see what new killstreaks they're going to have.
 
got the trittons hooked up last night and they are really nice. should have gotten them a long time ago.

i also finally got both maps packs. pm me if anyone needs one. i have 2 spots left.
 
I believe only the 720s or Pro's will work with the PS3. I have the Pro's and they are great...but you must do some active listening for them to be completely effective...at least until you get used to everything.
 
Looks like I'm going to have to buy BlackOPs... it should give me more of an incentive to prestige since there wont be any prestige hackers or lvl hackers for that matter *cough* mad *cough*.

dumb question(s) about the headsets: is it just for game chat? or do you hear all of the sounds from the game + chat and such? do they plug into the ps3? are they battery powered/ rechargable? when you use these, does sound still come out of your tv?

You hear game and chat the plug into usb so power that way. And no sound comes out of tv. I think atleast.

Take optical audio out to the headset. Of course you have to change your sound settings and make sure to pick only the 5.1 setting and leave the default analog ones alone.

I do get in a bit of trouble playing upstairs....Mad, or anyone else, can attest to some occasional adult language when I get knifed from a mile away, but wifey says it sounds like I am yelling....obviously not, it is just that there is no "noise" to filter the chat talk any more....unlike with the BT headset.

I won't be on tonight. Got a wedding, at a bar, at 8pm, that I am in and I get free drinks all night.....not sure how we are getting home yet....but whenever I do I will not be in any condition to play. I have, of course, threatened to bring the slim along and make them do "Don't go breaking my heart" on Singstar.

Multiplayer is going to take some getting used to for me and I'm more addicted to the fact that there are 5 factions, multiple unlocks and a 99 character level limit. Oh and character customization too.

I don't use the headset yet, I may have to because I find I end up disturbing people whom are sleeping. How is the weight on this thing? It kinda looks like a wrestling helmet. If I ever wrangle Hito over from PA or find myself in need of going to PA, maybe I'll try to give them a shot.

Similiarly to Mr. Nowlive, I have a bachelor party tonight to get the groom to. I'm not sure what exactly will happen as my boss is going and wants to be naughty, the groom is like 'been there, done that' and as far as I'm concerned, I need to blow off some steam.

it is a bit big but well worth the sound quality. really wanted the astro A40's but they only sell them direct. had to burn up the BB reward money.
 
Yeah the headset is great, but man o man is there alot of cables running around. Also the only problem i find with the headset is the controls for the volume and mic are way to close to the headset and makes it awkward trying to wear them. I hate how they kinda weigh them down because its just floating in space. Wish it was a tad bit longer so i can put it on a table or in my pocket.
And mad if your ever in central PA hit me up. Hopefully I dont have class or something so we can go drink some margaritas
