I just borrowed this game from my friend and I am terrible at it. It's the first time I've ever played a FPS. Think I can join you guys sometime? It would make my experience a lot better.
 
I'm alive!

Someway, somehow I survived. I'm not completely hung over but I just don't feel right, so I'm just going to relax and chill out, all the motion and movement in MW2 might make me sicker than I want to be.

Just a sidenote for you guys Prestiging and trying to gain levels quickly. I found that using Slight of Hand and Stopping Power for every gun I wanted to use early on got me where I wanted to be very quickly. Once I had Bling I swapped out Bling for Slight of Hand and finished those sets of challenges. I really had no problems leveling up quickly when I was completing 3 sets of perk challenges, usually two at the same time.

I'm just going to play around with some of the titles. They're not as neat as the ones from MW2 24/7 but I'll have to tinker with it some. Just a quick example as I put it all together, phrases are fine, if you bother to find it in you to put it all together, have fun. I'd like to use the stock images from MW2 24/7 since they're ripped from the game disc but this is a good start.


Just an example of what I'm somewhat aiming for overall, I don't mind putting the work in, I just needed some base ideas to work with, so keep 'em coming.
 
A while back I had business cards made up as a gag gift for what was supposed to decent little gathering when evilwon came over to NYC. I happened to forget said cards at home in a rush since they were moved from off of the kitchen table and they never got distributed.

Now, what I'd like to do is send these out to you guys since they're sitting around and not being enjoyed for their own idiocy and the little potshot I took at Hito in them. I'd update them to include one at Fred but I want to get these out first since they've been sitting.

If those interested would PM me their mailing address, I don't require any money for stamps or envelopes, however I do ask if they're posted online, that two bits be edited out of the image, that being my name and phone number. I do want to get these sent out to everybody I'd consider a friend here, just as a symbol of MW2 goofiness. The winner of the $10 PSN card will also get a card or two along with the physical card PSN card. While they are "limited" to one printing, it's not like I could order less since we're not a huge organization, so there will be plenty to go around if anybody is interested.

I handle my own business card ideas, the contest is for a new forum signature. If I can incorporate a short one into a MW2 style title it's like a ultra bonus. Otherwise I'll take them as they come and see what we get for a new sig. I need to update my sig anyway since that emblem is from like 5 Prestige levels ago.

The business cards I had made up back in July, I never got around to giving them out, so I just wanted to make that happen so there is a lil solid MW2 memorabilia from our clan.

You forgot don't play a running wingman for me in CTF. As a matter of fact, just stay clear of me....at least if I have a AUG HBAR right now....no suppression.

Langdon might win...although I'm not sure what you'd grab for a texture.

Mad - you are absolutely correct, again. I only played 1 match last night....UMP + silencer + slight of hand + stopping power equaled kicking butt for me....came in about 3-4 minutes in and went 20-10. Wish I would've had Pablo selected......the Attack Heli did enough damage though.

May be on for a bit later....depends on storms and if I feel like playing some (clearance cheap) Dirt 2.

I have a copy of DIRT 2 (sears clearance 19.99 a while back). Are you playing online, seems that everyone uses a specific car, which I dont have yet, so blah. Been having trouble finding the wherewithal to try to plat that game.

Sigs only appear once a page apparently, scroll up and you'll see it. I can understand why, it's just a little annoying to reference my sig when it's at the top of the page and my post is at the middle.

Eh,not really.I hopefully will again sooon though.I also have the same model of MBP (13" C2D Spring 2010) and I use the HD PVR and i use El Gato software. The only thing that sucks is that the files are huge and you have to use component to record. You can't use HDMI to record. The quality is excellent though. The HD PVR comes with software to record but it's only compatible with Windows and there is a free Mac recording software to record for the HD PVR but it would crash constantly,for me atleast.

Sorry for bailing on you guys on Rundown but between the host hitting the lag switch and people not able to recover from being camped, I had enough with my rusty skills. Went on to do a Hardcore match which I did terrible on, did some regular TDM until I got back into something of a groove and finally put myself relatively together for a few games with Jax, Skydive and Toxic.

The first CTF match we all played I completely just was horrible, when I was running to the flag I completely noobed it up, not able to get a guy in my sights even though he was right in front of me and finally just spammed hip fire until he died. He was just as terrible as me apparently.
 
My ISP cut out on me towards the end. Had to reset the modem. Got fed up with the lag, even though everyone showed 4 bars. Also, when does stopping power not kill someone with 5 consecutive hits from a m4a1 and they are not using painkiller? Should have just noob toobed it up.
 
i dropped and entire clip into a guy and got credit for the challenege and the guy was still alive walked up and knifed me . so i know that there was some major shenanigans going on last night.
 
is it just me or does there really seem to be a surge in the numbers of hacks and glitchers and lag switchers on there lately i have been in numerous games where its just unplayable . last night after playing with mad around i ran into a guy who was at 2 different ends of the same map killing people . how he managed that hack ill never know but he was litterally at 2 differnt points on the map killling people for like 3 matches.
 
on a related note i told someone on here that i really enjoyed playing mw2 with mad and kaiser and skydive and and all of the others. and that i found it realxing .

i was promptly told i was full of sh*t. and shenanigans were called.

so i guess i am full of bull cause i do like playing with this group of people i have meet on here
 
I agree that we have some good times playing as a group. It does get a little frustrating though when we dont exactly play as a team, but in a few more levels I will be the anti air guy rocking scavenger, cold blooded and a stinger. No more UAVs, Harriers, or Helicopters wreaking havoc on us, and most of all, no more kaiser asking why is an air unit still in the air after dying 4-5 times.
 
im still learning the finer points of online play my feet are still wet. i dont normally start out with my anti air class and im not rocking one man army so it takes a while. maybe it would help if when were playing we could have like a person who just rocks a anti air class kinda like when we ctf and i just stay back and defend... just a suggestion.

toxic, I dont know about the joystick knobs, but the real triggers are really useful for the L2 and R2 buttons for FPS and racing games, I have a pair on each of my DS3s. Damn my internet noobness, cant figure out how to post a link that isnt a mile long. Just search amazon for "real trigger".
 
I want to give those joystick knobs a try but I'm not sure how much they'll help as fine aiming is all well and good but my sensitivity is at 8, I'm usually able to quickly compensate. Auto Aim however has been a bitch, it's interfered with me shooting at least 3 times to the point where I'm either aiming down at my feet when somebody runs past me, it pulls me off my target when an enemy runs across my gun sights or it hangs and makes me overcompensate and over aim at somebody, targeting their side than midsection.
 
i have the real triggers i got them at a gamestop for 4.99 which layout are you using do you shoot and zoom with the l2 and r2 or are you using the tactical layout which fires with the l1 and r1 button

i have been using the tac layout firing with l1 and r1 but i think i might need to switch and use the real trigger buttons to fire and zoom with
 
I can't wait to get my stinger back I typically have it equip on every class...nothing better then taking out someone kill streak before it can kill anyone. UAV's can be a pain in the ass sometimes though. Also miss my Ninja Pro, I hate stomping around everywhere right now.

What set up does everyone have for there controller? I usually rock the default, but do those triggers really help if you have R2 and L2 for aim and shoot.
 
I use the default controls, I tried tactical and unless you're a drop shotter, it really sucks for me to use it. I may have to take up the technique after 10th though, just to really piss people off. I find adjusting to the higher sensitivity settings the hardest part more than simply using the controls, I have to literally aim to slow myself down since ADS speed is slower than normal looking around.

I'm not sure what you are talking about since MW2 is all about realistic play. I mean, what's not real about drop shots, quick scoping, detonating C4 while it is in the air, chucking a grenade halfway across a map, an unseen grenade launched across a map for a multi-kill, using an rpg on someone right next to you and not taking any damage yourself, and let us not forget the reality of killing someone while "blowing off their pinky toe" to paraphrase Harlem Nights.

 
Drop shooters, and halo jumpers. Not as bad as the a-hole lag switchers lately. Toxic was able to identify the same guy tonight that was lag switching us last night. Toxic, please lay the smack down on that little biznitch.
 
i am awaiting confirmation from a source but i beleive the falcon6134 is also the kid on youtube who keeps making videos of how he supposedly hacked the servers and programmed the game to be glitch. he is using a usb stick with some kind of file that does some wicked stuff to the online servers when he logs in .. thats why he never really plays more than one game in a row. its like tracing a phone call you stay on 2 long and your dead. but my "friend" got enough of his location to find out where his parents live cause. he the internet bill is in their name. will start by sending some cease and decist legal papers that look like they come from sony and activision hopefully it will spook him if not. several anon phone calls to the local child services in that city/county will defin. do the trick

Dude in the video had to also be using one of those lovely modded controllers, they're now being built with a drop shot button as a feature.
 
sometimes a part of me just wants to open up the checkbook and buy us all modded controllers and lag switched . just so we could grief the people who keep griefing us...
 
Yeah it was awesome when I got booted from Scrapyard last night after the other team quit, I looked and it seemed if everyone was still playing. I said fuck it and went to bed.
 
I'm completely exhausted but I'll be on trying to shake off some of this rust I've got going on. With the wedding crap over, I'm just in the mood to murder people.
