I hate Raiga, I know he is a filler character but I just cant stand him. I cant stand the stupid funerals, I hate his ability, I hate his huge lips and annoying dialogue. The worse part is I feel like Kabuto when he is beating up Tsunade, I feel that Raiga lowers the title of one of the Seven Swordsmen Shinobi of the Mist. Zabuza and Kisame are bad ass character and raised the bar of the Seven, and the the filler story comes along craps out Raiga and drops the bar greatly. Plus his weapons arent even swords. The next filler better be better. I didnt like the first one with Jiraiya, then I liked the Shino one, and this current one is the worst. I guess it can only go up and maybe start the Gaiden.
 
Yeah, there's very little about the current filller that doesn't piss me off. Raiga, Ranmaru, the fucking curry, and most of all the horrible animation which takes all enjoyment out of the fights. :bomb: :bomb: :bomb:
 
I can't believe that AoD is giving Gilgamesh such great reviews. It's not that good.

1) It suffers from poor directing.
2) It has continuity problems.
3) It has setting problems.
4) It has poor pacing.
5) It has uniteresting characters.

It's just a terribly flawed show. I may have to send in a counter review.

wow, I am speechless, that is horrible and terrible and annoying. I think I might just stop watching for awhile, cause this current filler is horrible and this might be the direction they are heading in.

Yeah, but I already knew about it from earlier in the day and had expected/feared it anyway. Especially given that new opening. I think I may just sit out these next few months if they don't involve Shikamaru and/or the sand. Even then they may just fuck up the characters ...

Yeah, the low quality of animation is very noticable in this particular episode. I almost felt like I was watching one of those old school 70s cartoons where no body moved when they had a cardboard cutout for the mouth portion and had an actual person's mouth talking. :lol:

While I find the current arc pretty bad, mainly because of the damn dreariness of the color scheme compared to the rest of the show, it's actually good news to me.

With the fillers going, we had no idea when this would stop, as we hoped that as an arc closed that they'd finally move on. At least they let us know so we're not wondering every episode when it's over, but now we know it'll last until about April, which is more of the bad news.I guess we'll have to do a countdown to keep our spirits up. :lol:

At least I'll have GNT4 to keep my busy for a few months. And hopefully I'll have someone decent to play against come December.

EDIT: I think I may have to pick up the GC Bleach game when it comes out. I'm not sure it'll break me away from GNT4, but it still looks pretty good:

 
Personally, I'm looking forward to Bleach for the GC more than GNT4. GNT4 is just going to be more of the same with some new characters, which is cool. But Bleach not only is gonna have Yoruichi and Soi Fong, but also Kaien, Kenpachi, Tousen, Ikkaku, Yumichika and Aizen. Plus, everyone is supposed to at the least go up to Shikai, including Kaein, plus most people who should be able to go Bankai will be able to go Bankai. It's sounding REALLY good so far.

Yeah, I know there's going to be more characters, but this is the first thing I've seen that wasn't on the official website.

Is there a release date yet?

Well, Kaien and Urahara were announced in the manga before the site caught up, so I assume in a few days Yorucihi and Soi Fong will show up on the site. I wanna say the release date is like 12/8 right now. I'm so getting it when it comes out.

Holy shit ... last time I was on the site there were only 8 characters listed. That was only a few weeks ago. Of course I knew just about everyone would be in it anyway. :lol:

I'll probably stick to using Yoruichi, though Urahara and (if included) Tatsuki are possibilities.

Supposedly everyone who should have a bankai will have a bankai. This includes people we haven't seen I've heard. This is cause they've put Kaien's shikai in the game even though they've never shown it in the anime or manga. So I'd definitely expect Tousen, Renji, Byakuya and Hitsugaya to have some form of their bankai. I wouldn't be surprised to see Aizen, Gin, Ukitake, and Shunsui to show up with their bankai.

Yoruichi, Soi Fong, Hitsugaya, Shunsui, Kenpachi, Gin, Urahara, and Ukitake should be awesome. Ikkaku could be awesome, but I think they'll mess him up. I know Gin should be way too much fun if they make him anything like he is in Heat the Soul 2. He teleports all over the place and goes "Bye bye" in English and can just own people. Hitsugaya will most likely be awesome too, since they tend to like giving him a range attack with his normal attack since he uses Hyourinmaru to cause ice to form at his slash.

if you count Soi and Yoruichi are added that makes 17, with 8 left I am guessing Chad, Ishida, Orhime, Tatsuki, Mayuri, Rangiku, Yachiru(hopefully), Don Kanoji,

Seems reasonable. What would be really interesting, to me, would be a Jinta + Ururu character. Not sure how that could work though.

That's been known since the GB game came out. I guess when his soul transmigrated to Ichigo the "secret additive" bammed it up a notch into the far superior Zangetsu.

I think Kaien's shikai could be pretty cool. I always wondered why there wasn't a person who's Soul Slayer turned into a spear. I mean, you have Ikkaku's three section spear, but I want a just plain spear, which they mostly gave us with Kaien's.

I saw the flashback and I saw nothing that lead me to believe he transferred his soul to Ichigo. I thought he died when Rukia had to kill him.

I dont think many people share that theory, I think it has to do with certain characters one who is dead another who is alive that are not Kaien who are responsible for him being naturally gifted.

Are you saying when you die in soul society you come back to earth?

Are there actual, factual spoiler tags enabled now? If not, I don't like to leave any chance for accidental spoiling in scrolling down a page. As for easier, actually, I've got a firefox extension (this goes for you, too, if you've got FF, Ikohn) that allows you to just highlight text and switch to or from ROT13 (among other "languages.") It's called Leetkey, and it's useful. Otherwise, Ikohn, go here: http://www.rot13.com/

Was it really born-in or a result of the whole shaft thing?

And having characters look the same is a common thing, especially when they share certain attributes ... it's a good theory but there's really no way to say for sure at this point.

Edit II: apparently it only does it AFTER you submit the comment twice. Once for the quoted comment. And again for the color. But it still seems to be somewhat legible.

I consider the first manifestation of it when Ichigo revived during the first fight with Renji, though.

edit: scratch that, the fight against the Menos could have been a manifestation, too.
