Monster Hunter Tri

I'm at HR23 now, and I got my Rathalos Armor completed. I can't help my friend with his Urgent quest until I get to HR27. This is going to take a while.
 
SPhil it says you were offline. You should also turn on accept messages while in mission (somewhere in the menu online while in town), I couldn't get a hold of you. I guess I will try again later but now I'm going to eat dinner. I think I spent more time in this thread trying to get people online with more more than actually playing :lol: It's hard since everyone for some reason is in the Central or East Coast time zone while in on the West Coast.

I'm at HR24 now. I'll probably play a lot more tomorrow to get to HR27 so I can help my friend out. I tried my first Advanced Quest tonight, and it was pretty interesting. I'll probably try to beat Rathalos offline now that I have a complete Rathalos set. Having Fire going from 0 to 16 will definitely help.
 
I got into an awesome group of random people last night who helped me complete almost all of my two star missions. At one point we even played with someone who was at HR 53. I've never seen a Gobul struggle and fail to get up so many times :lol:
Surprisingly, all of the strangers I've played with online have been super nice and helpful.

Got to HR4 and got a lot of cool loot. Just need four more * missions to complete.

Ah, too bad I just got on. I'll help too SP if you need it. I'll leave my character up online if you do decide to go on and add me, just search Mad D and I'm sure you'll find me.

I guess I'll solo a couple quest for now.

It told me your city was full so I went off on my own. We'll have to try again some other time.
 
HR4 you say? What a mighty HR it is indeed. Why it almost makes my newly earnedHR25 look like a gigantic boulder rolling down a mighty hill waiting to crush thee. Oh, and I saw an HR70 online.

I'm gonna need a good amount of help to get the Capture Uragaan quest done. It seems that everyone just dies around him. Twice I've tried, twice one person has died twice really quick. But this last time they spawned a Rathalos in the same exact area -_- dick move, Monster Hunter Tri, dick move.

Farmed about 50ish Rathian offline and finally got my Rathian Plate, upgraded to Sieglinde finally... awesome weapon :) Sadly I did one Rathalos and I get Rathalos Plate -__- .. Rathalos is definitely easier than Diablos, and I need his Majestic Horn... have a feeling its gonna be hard to farm it.

Those guys that are near HR100 must have not stopped playing :x it's do-able for sure though but that is some intense HR farming.

Anyone up for questing? No grinding. Life's a grind. The game shouldn't be.

If it was hacks, it'd be HR99. HR86 would be about 10-15 hours of online play per day since release. I know a couple of HR50+'s, so HR86 might be possible.

New Armor: Uragaan, which gives me about 168 in DEF with DEF (M). I might switch back to Rathalos in case I want an extra 80 or so ATK.

HR: I'm up to 28 now. So later I'll be able to help with my friend's Urgent Quest, and then maybe my own Urgent in a couple of days. The hours are piling up.
 
i could use some help with my urgent quest hunting Lagi, should be cake for you guys. IDK how you guys are so high leveled, props.

Two things:

1) I thought running after that bird from area to area was annoying. I thought we weren't making any progress is why.

2) I thought there were some rocks to mine in area 11 of the Crystal Bone quest.

Oh, no that's not the end of the game at all haha. That's urgent quest for HR30~, a giant dragon in the Volcano is the last boss (online anyways) :)
 
I'll have to do the Festival of Fear quest at least twice, will probably end up doing it more than that. I'm almost at Level 30 myself. But I'd like to do the Hunt Barioth and Hunt Uragaan quests before then. I'd like to finish every quest, online and off. Although offline Rathalos is giving me quite a fit.

I had heard there was a way to convert Japanese save files over to the US version, which might be the explanation for some high-HR people right now.

No problem. I had fun. But it would have been faster if we had more people, or hadn't stop to kill the Great Jaggi.

I can help you out :D Barioth is definitely really annoying though. Rathalos isn't too bad but once you get sucked into his wind pushback -> fireball -> charge -> stun its all over :cry: I have a hard time on Diablos compared to Rathalos.


I have been Volcano mine farming for a bit and finally got my rusted great sword :) crafted the Ancient Blade :D Also got a rusted lance but not really interested in lances.

The Jaggis gave me HR6 or whatever I'm at much faster, so thanks for that.

I really need to play more and then get online. By the time I do, you all are going to be HR 200 or so. Sadly I'm moving this weekend, so it'll be a while.

I know how you feel. I'm stuck on HR 18 because I haven't been online in awhile. I've been playing some offline trying to get the helios armor though.

To easily get goldenfish use goldenrod bait from combining firefly and snakebee larva lures. That should make things easier.

If you still need help let me know because I wanna play on the 360 soon. >_

We barely survived against a Royal Ludroth! It was an intense and awesome battle!
My partner had one hit left in him!

EDIT: Now it's SuperPhillip vs Royal Ludroth!
