No one coerced me into apologizing. I did it on my own free will and I said I was at fault and removed the auction myself. If I wanted to be a real a-hole, I could still be selling the inserts and wouldnt care what anyone said. But I'm not.

So with that said, i'm done with this situation and replying to this as its dead and done with.
 
I really appreciate all the support guys, but lets just let the whole thing go and see where it goes from here.

Iazy did take it down, and my real issue with him was him not asking and him giving me shit after I mentioned it. He's since apologized and we can let this go. I've since realized that I should never put anything on the net I would be upset seeing on eBay. So I've reposted the cover.

I grabbed one of those promo DVDs from Target for .01. It isn't exactly like a real Wii case but its white and it will do the job espescially since the whole point is not to have to use the cardboard sleeve it originally came in.
 
^ The official Wii cases you can order from Nintendo.com are good too, and are around the same price after shipping, if not cheaper, depending on how many you order. If you order a ton, though, US Plastic is the better option.

so someone like JuanDDixon scams countless other posters, not just here but more than likely across numerous other boards, manages to actually STEAL more than iazy could have ever made from selling a small handful of covers, and yet iazy is the "biggest jackassed villain for '06." the idea that the two of them are even comparable is absolutely mind boggling. are half the people in this thread even grounded in reality? he sold a cover. when he got called out, he was quick to correct his mistake. even after the OP removed the cover from his post it was still readily available. iazy never actually "ruined" anything, as some of the bandwagon-jumpers littering this thread melodramatically proclaimed. it was an asshole move, which no one would contest, but all of you treating it like it's the biggest indiscretion this board saw in the entirety of '06 seriously have more than a few screws loose.
 
Part of the problem here lies in the permanence of these message board posts. I'm willing to give iazy the benefit of the doubt. He clearly values the CAG community enough to return and remain active in spite of the vitriol continually spewed over his abhorrent mistake. Why would he even attempt to remain a member of this community unless he were truly penitent? It'd be easier to walk away and become a lurker. There was a period during which he was indeed halfheartedly apologetic --futilely seeking to save face without realizing that was beyond hope-- but I think that somewhere along the way he came to understand the gravity of what he'd done in betraying the implicit trust that we CAGs have with one another. Quoting old posts is a cheap way to knock a guy down if he's changed since then, and I'm willing to believe that iazy has changed or is at least in the process.
