Mortal Kombat Armageddon
I can't even bring myself to ask for this to Xmas, sad.
This will be under $20 very soon, don't worry.

It's only worth about $10 - $15 in my book. The novelty wears off quickly.

Nabbed this at the Amazon buy 2 Get 60% off (whoops) sale, so got it for about $13ish.

All and all, that's about what it's worth. The Konquest mode is pretty poor. I didn't play Deceptions, so I dunno, but the entire storyline is awful. Create-a-Fighter is weak. Very very weak. Motor Kombat is downright awful.

That being said, I rather enjoy the fighting, and the access to all the characters. The unlockables are pretty cool, and it's fun to save up money from the Konquest mode to buy unlockables.

Worth about $10-$15 if you're an MK fan

Agh, you just haaad to bump this thread, reminding me of the disappointment this game provided. Bad-fucking-ass intro movie as usual, but I don't think I've felt the urge to play it in months. Unfortunate, because all it would take for me to want to play through it with every character are real endings instead of the lame-ass "here, read this while your character poses" thing.

My problem was that, in taking out the character specific fatalities, you had a bunch of characters that felt the same even though they were 56 or so specific characters.

MKA was my disappointment of 2006, because it should have been the best MK ever.
