Woot.. pre-ordering this right now

360

PS3

So yeah.. same price as the regular edition.

According to "sources" over at Destructoid.com, the bundle will include a 16 page comic book, a making of DVD, a giclée(?) print, a t-shirt, and to top it off, it will come packed in a velvet case. Because with a game that features Scorpion burning the Flash to a crisp you want to have classy packaging. GameStop.com has the bundle listed for $70, $10 more than the regular edition.
(thanks blueswim)

Enjoy.
I believe the new xbox pad will be out before this game which would help the :360: out. But again an arcade stick is the way to go if you play any fighting games. I get the most out of mine.
thats for Europe onlyi believe and its only being bundled with that soccer game

the arcade sticks out right now for 360 are meh

oh okay I wasn't sure about that pad. Well a quick simple mod of the arcade stick makes it 100x better took me 5 mins and an extra 5 bucks
I don't think you can use a stick for this game. I thought they were doing different stuff with the d-pad and analog stick.
I think Shipwreck said that you will be able to use a stick with it. I think there is a button you hold down to move in 3D, like in Dead Or Alive 2: Hardcore on the PS2.
Yeah, agreed. Soul calibur was awful for the 360.. much easier on the PS3 to play on.

Dunno.. PS3 just sounds better to play on.

Plus hopefully better online play.. like the ones without the four year olds who spam the same move over and over again, then get beaten and cry and call you a cheater @_@
Sorry, but I had the PS3 version of SC4 and it was the same thing when you played with people online (same move over and over again). But, you also couldn't chat online which I guess was good when you met up with the 4 year olds, but sucked when you played with a friend.

MK needs a d-pad even more than SC4 did, though, which is why I'm so torn.
Is there any downfall if I wanna cancel the pre-order down the line (a fee or anything)?
NO, Amazon is really great!

I'm also in for one thanks OP. As for movement in MK vs DC Universe; it works like this: to move in 3d you use the left analog stick and to move in 2d you use the D-Pad. Hope that helps.

Thanks, ordered one! Thanks to the OP as well.

I was a little excited when I see the Collector Edition on my Amazon's Quick Pick for $56.99 but then it appear to be Xbox 360 Version but I want the PS3 Version.

Dont really want the game. Will prolly just let my brother play it..... but velvet case. It's a nice turn away from the metal tins

Weird, I went for the pre-order of this item when it was 59.99 now it's in my goldbox/quick picks but discounted at 5% off the current price of 69.99.

Ask for price adjustment, since you bought it BEFORE September 1.

You can't price adjust a pre-order price as they haven't charged you anything

You can have them price adjust prices on pre-ordered merch if it hasn't shipped yet and the price went down. Since they haven't shipped it, I would think they can't classify it as "post order" since it hasn't shipped yet.

If I know some stuff might go down in price and I really want it, I'll package it up in an order with other pre-order stuff that I know I will want but that isn't released for month until now. Do it all as one order with free shipping and group together as one. If the prices on those things go down before the time the order ships I've always written to them and they've adjusted the price because I've stressed that the order has not yet shipped. They've always done it in the past. If the products get fairly low and I want them now, then I cancel the other items that are shipping in month and boom I get my order then. :)

Weird I tried it with LittleBigPlanet but not luck. Might've been due to the fact that I purchased it at Goldbox and was asking for 5% off of $56.99(which is what I got it for from my Quick Picks)

Thanks for the correction.
