MS Point cards on sale at Amazon (10% off)

Don't forget, you could try to pm this deal at Sears for the extra 10% off. The 4000 point card would be more reasonable, if you could get the pm.
Not worth it. I can get 160 points for 1.50 each increment. Still cheaper than any discount.
How?
Not worth it. I can get 160 points for 1.50 each increment. Still cheaper than any discount.
Not useful unless you say how or if no one else can get it ;) Through employee discounts and smart Price Matching, mine work out to be $1 USD for 108 MS points, but I don't poo poo on deals when nobody else can get it.

Well the good thing about my hook up is that I don't have to be an employee and I don't have to price match and waste gas. I do it all in my own home. Kinda cool, eh?
PM me and I'll let you know.
I'm really glad you're keeping with the "community" idea here. The point of CAG is to share CA deals, not rub it in people's faces about how you can get it & no one else can.

Not bad though on the point cards; I have yet to actually use my points on anything, but I have a feeling that will change in the future.

I can't post here because I don't know if the guy wants a thousand people who just registered at another site to message him for the deal. I doubt he wants the publicity and people scalping him to hoard and such.

Thanks for the info, but I don't usually consider $15 to be the "must buy" price. I can hope that CC drops to that much with their closings sales.

They won't drop that much, and if they do, yuppies will scoop them early before it hits that low.

I completely accept that reasoning & find it respectful; but I would suggest that if you're going to throw around how you can get things that others can't, you throw the disclaimer in there that it's through a personal contact or don't say it at all. The point of this forum is to help out other gamers find the best deal around.

Those are my $.02.

Consider yourself lucky to get this deal (or better) at CC. I'm sure all the normal shoppers have already scooped them up at 10% off.

I'm still upset for missing out on the $14.99 deal that Target had last year.

Aww.. I remember that. I bought two or three of them then since it was a nice deal and there were some things on marketplace I wanted. Still haven't spent all the points yet though since I only bought Castle Crashers (didn't wind up buying Legendary map pack since I rarely play Halo 3).

I can get a better deal on these. thanks though!

This has been this price for a couple weeks already. I am sure you could probably find another thread about it if you look around some.

CC had it as a mistake on their ad for b1g1 free...this was about a year ago...
long live CC price mistakes....

no worries, Target had them for $14.99 a few times last year, pretty much every three months on the dot. the last time was during black friday week, so another $15 sale should be hitting pretty soon. if you know someone that works there, even better. last time I got 3200 points ($40) for $28 with tax with my 10% discount!

Good idea on the pm, I still can't justify the price though (even for gta dlc).
Sears PM is 10% of the difference, not an extra 10% off. So you'd get an extra $.20 off, but have to pay tax.
You know, it's interesting that you say that. Are they legally allowed to charge tax for what is essentially an online currency?

sounds a bit fishy to me that...

Most places shouldn't (BB doesn't)

WTF? Look in the "New and used" Section.
Someone is actually selling a used card for $22.
From the description:
"You are just paying for the card only."

Seriously...

Edit: this is for the 4000 Points card.

I'm pretty sure you get charged tax even if you buy points straight through Microsoft. I know Nintendo does it.
