Got 17 entries in this contest with another 12 hrs remaining for new entries. The list will be posted about an hour prior to kickoff so everybody can check to make sure I entered them right. What's up y'all! It's time for the biggest game of the year!!! So I'm bringing back my Coke caps giveaway, and since the game is the biggest, I had to upsize the rewards.

To play, all you have to do is answer each of these questions via PM to avoid thread clutter:

1) In Super Bowl 50, which player receives the single longest catch, and how many yards does that catch go for?

2) In Super Bowl 50, which quarterback finishes with more yards, and how many more yards is that than the other starting QB?

These are two-part questions so that I have an easy tie breaker. To further help deconflict answers, I'll be PMing you if you have the same answer as somebody else.

So Ransack brought up a good question via PM. The QB yardage question is PASSING yards, not total yards. If you have already PMd me an answer and want to change it, no biggie. I guess I assumed that because its QB that yall would go with passing yards. Forgot we have a dual threat QB in this game.

Mini Super Bowl Contest

According to both nfl.com and espn.com the total number of passing yards...

265+141 = 406

While nobody hit the exact total, kinectimals84 is the winner of the 15 caps.  Codes will be sent at some time tomorrow.
 
Here are the winners for the Super Bowl 50 contest:

#1) Secret Turtle - Ted Ginn for 44 yards. Ted Ginn went for a 45yd reception.

#2) yars2010/WeaponX2099/GolfMan - 3 way tie with Newton 120yds more than Manning. Actually was 124 more.

#3) GolfMan - Graham Gano w/40 yd FG - actual answer was 39 yd FG

#4) kinectimals84 - actually tied with ThunderChunky62 at 43 yard kick return. It was 42 yards. This is exactly why I have two part answers with tie breakers. A 3 yard difference gave it to kinectimals84 with a higher punt return prediction. Actual answer was a record breaking 61yd punt return.

#5) no winners here. Nobody predicted a defensive TD would be first.

As always, double check the stats and everything to make sure I didn't mess up somewhere. Winners will be PMd around 7am central time. Winner of the random drawing for playing will be posted tomorrow morning too.
 
Ive been a long time member of MCR and only ever have gotten a few special code redemption offers.  They're always limited to one coupon which is sad but Ive accumulated around 3500 points now that I dont think Ill ever get down lower (since the special rewards are so rare and can only get one per).

So just a question, can I stack amazon gift cards?  Both buying multiples of them with points and then using them all at once on amazon?  Eyeing up some VP Vice mountain bike pedals for $45 and I could easily buy 4 $10 amazon cards to make that a super cheap purchase if stacking is allowed.

While you can stack the gift card codes, I doubt that you get more than one.

I believe Coke limits you to how many you can get. It might be something like one a month or one every couple months.

You should be able to get the amazon credit every 8 days

 
There are autographed coke bottles that are being given away on the diet coke site. People said they can redeem for them on SD, but they are unwilling to help in how to get the right catalog.

Log into coke. Check out the diet coke link with the special bottles. Redeem a diet cap and you get 1 of 2 catalogs.

If you get the good catalog it has the bottle in it. Please post the url of the bottle if you see it.

- you can use the same user name/password as you do on MCR - this is a different site

When you log in, look at your url - it will either say

You want to enter a cap code down near the bottom left when you get the "bright-state" page, where it says "You deserve a VIP reward". There is no way to directly go to this page, it is just luck of the draw which one you get when you sign in. if you paste the link in for "bright state" when you are logged in as "everyone else" it will just revert back to the everyone else page. If you enter a cap in "everyone else" you get a more limited choice of rewards which doesn't include the 3-month spotify or the autographed bottle.

Best way to get "bright-state" page is to just sign out and sign back in again - it might take multiple tries. Some people said their accounts got locked up or something from trying too many times though. This has not happened to me, but I've only logged in and out 3-4 times to get "bright-state" or sometimes it just comes up on the first try.

The only way you can view the rewards URL or the specific autographed bottle URL is if you have entered a code while you were logged in with the "bright state" URL. Once you have entered a code in the "bright state" URL the collection will be saved in your rewards tab, even if you log out and log back in under the "everyone else" tab.

I just entered a code while in "everyone else" as an experiment and then entered Buick's link and it won't let me view it because I wasn't in "bright state".

What I'd like to know is what's IN the bright side catalog,this way I know if it's worth the effort or if I stick with the regular catalog.
 
So in the everything else collection. It mostly contains wallpapers and GIFS,a behind the scenes video of the promo,lunchbox notes,and a Amazon $1 off discount code towards Diet Coke.

I'm not gonna risk my MCR account being permabanned over free autographed Diet Coke. The Spotify would be amazing but not worth locking out my account. (Which I can confirm happens after like 6 try's,got locked out for two hours)
