Good deal. I just borrowed a copy froma friend and finished it last night. It was well on its way to being one of my top 5 fav ps1 rpg games, but a bunch of unresolved plot issues left me pretty unsatisfied at the end, but it's still a top 10 ps1 rpg.

I also got a kinda good deal on one as part of a lot of stuff, but after your post I dare not try and brag. I can't come close to that price.

Wow..just wow.. So how many people are going to a Half Price Books tomorrow to see what they can find? I might! I just found out I have one close to me and another one sorta close. Why the hell have I never heard of this store?!

ive seen my share of suikodens on the shelf in pennsylvania. some are STILL sitting there. dont like the game personnally.
Yeah, I checked the Brown Deer TRU, they didn't have jack when I went, just a cart filled with worthless junk.
Too bad, did you check in December at all?

The day I went in was a Sat. near Xmas with my wife and kids in the car . . . I had just minutes and it was glacier slow . . . I got some great super-cheap games but had to boogie . . . one of those times that haunts you because you don't know what you missed.

There are other depressing aspects of living in Illinois . . . da Bears!

BTW, Half-Price is worth checking out (esp. for BOOKS) but you will rarely (if ever) find great game deals there.
You just must not be going to the right Half Prices. The Half Prices here in MN often have great gaming deals (especiallly if you're into PC games, like myself).
Wow... didn't realize that there are a few of these stores near Indianapolis. Hadn't heard of them before this -- I may stop by there if I head on up to do some shopping next week.
The only games I have seen are some dreamcast sports games.

I have a friend who works at that specific Half Price Books. They also had a good deal on a Harry Potter book recenty which he caught before anyone could buy it. Apparently, there was a limited print of 5000 copies of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" for the people who helped make the book. The book itself looked similar to the original, yet still different enough to warrant a second glance. My buddy checked it out on eBay and found that it was going for over $100.00. Half Price was selling it for $6.98. He grabbed it and increased the price. Yes, I wanted to beat him without mercy for not letting me buy it first.
