My name is GGT #73. Remember it, for it is the chilling sound of your doom.

Played like 4 hours of Final Fantasy IV today (which wasn't as much as I expected, but whatever), and this game is sooooo good. It's definitely more difficult than the previous versions, but not overly so. Overall, I wanna say that this version is easily the best one... the 2D graphics didn't have much charm to them since the SNES ones were primitive and the Wonderswan Color/GBA ones were just kinda bootleg... so changing to 3D only helped the game. I also like that Palom and Porom have portraits that are significantly less retarded. What this game's made me realize though, is that RPGs really don't need to be innovative with their storyline or gameplay... just offering a good story and good gameplay - even if deriviative - is enough to make an RPG great if you really nail those elements. But so few RPG devs seem to understand that today...

This is making me wonder if maybe... just maybe, Dragon Quest IV is actually going to be an awesome game when it hits next month.

I need to get FFIV DS. . .

I ate some Red Robin today, then proceeded to vomit it up hours later. The only times I get sick is when I eat a meal that's $10 or more. $1 McChickens and Double Cheeseburgers? They stay down. Always.

here's a huge preview...

 drawing this for Daroga while listening to The Warriors OST >_<

lol my ass even though it was under my title. CAG has more visual artists than I expected, but still not many.

Plus fanart isn't my thing (I hope). I'm mainly doing it for daroga. after this it's straight into making an animated music video.

I'm an artist too.

Sexual artist.

Buy one of my products when it comes out later this year. And one early next year.

Holla.

if ur referring to babies I'll take two :)

So now that I have some extra money, I don't know what I should piss it away on. I would like to get some video games. But I kind of want...more anime more. $60 can sometimes go a long way for either. I am pretty much set on video games I want and I have money set away for most of, if not all the future video games I plan on purchasing for the rest of the year.

 apparently I've been contacted by a very well put together hentai site that's interested in the old breast physics article I wrote about 2-3 years ago >_<

all you hentai GGTers be jealous ;)

Ask them for server access to do a site rip. I have 750 GB USB HDD that needs some tentacle rape hentai. I mean, cartoon boobies are for kids!

SNES is my favorite.

Good morning GGT.

Gonna play a little more Xenosaga today. I'm kinda mad about encountering a glitch which isn't letting me in the A.G.W.S. shop in the Foundation city. Every time I try to enter, I get stuck and end up having to reset.

And this is the best D-pad EVER! (Prolly NSFW)
I really should get Bionic Commando. I keep forgetting about it. I haven't even gotten the demo yet. :cold:
makes me wonder what happened to my shit...

'Morning GGT.
It's not.
I'm relatively okay at the DMC series. Finished DMC on normal, DMC2 on hard maybe (that game sucked), and DMC4 on Devil Hunter (normal? hard? whichever is the hardest of the two starting difficulties)...

DMC, I made it to cerberus at the end of stage 3 on normal. I got my ass handed to me repeatedly. So I started on easy, and let me tell you, it's still fucking brutal. I even went back with new weapons, more health, more abilities, and tried to take out cerberus on normal and STILL had issues. :\

Potentially it's most challenging game ever.

Are you playing the SE or the regular edition? The regular edition normal is the Japanese hard mode -- it's only fixed in the SE release in NA.
I'm playing the SE. I completed Stage 4 and have been repeatedly getting killed early on in Stage 5 in Normal, so I started over again in Easy and am now at the beginning of Stage 5 again.

As for Cerberus, he took awhile, but I found that frequent dodging, locking on to the heads, and using the Stinger move helped quite a bit. The Stage 4 boss is much tougher, though.
you know what i'm talking about...

that stuff you *meant* to send out thursday but keep forgetting about. ;)
But I did send it out Thursday. :whee:

In unrelated news, that Bionic Commando demo is pretty sweet. I like the sense of humor of it. Especially when you hack the enemy communications.

"Gulp .. do I have to be in the full game?"

"Yes you imbecile!"

I'm probably going to get Mercs 2 on day one. The graphics, the gameplay, the destructible environments, and the drop in and out co-op over Live look really good. The first game was fun and I don't expect less from the 2nd.

Who's getting it on 360?

Not me! I bought the original Mercs on markdown and expected pure awesomeness and rainbows... I was disappointed... it's one of the few games I gave up on after about 20 minutes of gameplay and sold/traded-in immediately. *shrug*

Oh wow. For some reason I thought it was coming out in a week. Probably won't get it, lol. It's sandwiched between Castle Crashers and NHL. Then shit just gets crazy after that.

Seriously, it was the most generic piece of shit I've probably ever played. It's like "okay, you can blow shit up..." but they forgot to design a game around it. Oops!

I'll be there day 1. I loved the original game. I played through it multiple times. So I'm really looking forward to this.

My problem is I can't stand turn based combat anymore, so I need the "innovation" in gameplay. Real time combat, shooting combat like Mass Effect etc.

I just don't have the interest in/tolerance for just selecting commands and watching things happen anymore, despite playing a decent amount of JRPGS when I was younger.

I just ordered a HDMI to DVI converter and two HDMI cables. $15.54 shipped. I love Monoprice. I am going to have a PC hooked up to my TV soon. I can't wait. I got my wireless keyboard yesterday. Today I get my World of Warcrack battlechest. Tomorrow, the world!

Well, I was really just referring to JRPGs that try to get creative, like Star Ocean 3, or SMT: Devil Summoner where the games just suck because they tried something completely different but didn't polish it at all.

Ah, I see your point--though I've not played those since I haven't touched a JRPG since FFX.

Polish is always key. For me to play an RPG it has to be polished and have some type of real time combat--as I only play AAA games and I don't like turn based combat.

For RPGs I'm especially selective as I really just don't have time for long games these days. I prefer games to be 10 hours or less so I can get them out of the way relatively quickly and move on to the next one. Even a 10 hour game often takes me a month to get through with my limited gaming time. Some exceptions for something like a Gears of War that sucks me into all nighters in co-op etc.

RPGs are especially bad as they are long and suck me into playing for the story and I end up spening way to much time on them that I should be spending catching up on work!
Damn, I'd really like to buy BCR but I can't seem to get my credit card working on PSN. Guess I'll just wait till the 360 gets back.
Do you live in an apartment? You may have to triple-check your billing address, (Address 2, etc.) it has happened to some people.

u kno what sux about that?!?!?! it's just a concept...

when I saw it I was ready to buy both colors without hesitation... but they werent for sale

so.... today I shall beat Uncharted, then cancel my gamefly account for a mission well accomplished!!

then it's back to playing that real shyt! that JEKKISTYLE JEKKIGAMER type sheeyit!

I knew they charged when Xbox first came out, but that was like 5 years ago. Isn't it a little old fashioned to be charging for online play? I thought we stopped doing that back in the early 90's.

Oh well, PS3 version it is. This will be my first PS3 game (after owning the system for over a year).

Whoo! I beat Drakes Uncharted!

it was alrite... it's like Ico... except not as good.

the only thing justifying this game as next gen is the wealth bonus videos u get at the game's completion.

I still hate PS3... except for MGS4 and Bionic Commando!

I suck at vidya games. I couldn't even beat the first boss in Bionic Commando. I was throwing barrels everywhere at that frigging thing and nothing was happening. :/

I have come to the conclusion that I am a terrible Soul Calibur player.

Games I'm buying next month assuming these release calendars are correct:
Mega Man 9
Force Unleashed (maybe)
Crysis Warhead
Little Big Planet (OCTOBER WHAT THE fuck!)
