Sorry! I thought you were following that part of the saga in the social group.

Sony was useless, so I ended up calling to the place I bought them from and spoke to the electronics manager on duty. After explaining the problem, he agreed to take them back. Sadly, I wasn't allowed to keep any of the battery covers.
