Name a game people should(ve) played but they didn't

forgot about that one. That was a pretty sweet game though I have to admit that my ability to seemingly kill the human character at the worst times was a bit frusterating.

Jet Grind Radio

I completely understand why people didn't play this game. It got its grand debut on the niche Dreamcast and never got a second chance on a different console, and if I recall correctly Sega didn't seem to care much in the way of advertising it.

So what is this game? Basically you go around spray painting different locals, all while looking very fly to get known in the fictionalized Tokyo. You're going to have some trouble in the form of other spray painting gangs and cops, so that means you'll be on some fun missions like chasing a gang member or running from cops while getting your art in the world.

It's still an amazing game nearly a decade later, even graphically thanks to the ultra stylized cell shading. I recommend getting a Dreamcast just to play it, even if you're a bit curious. You can probably snag a Dreamcast console, and this for easily under 50 dollars used somewhere like Ebay or Amazon.
Oh, man. That Planescape video is painful to watch. I gotta find something better...
In selecting the videos I tried to find videos which showed gameplay the best. If people post videos I put those instead. I checked out a couple videos of Planescape and decided on that one, but I am willing to post a new one if you can find something better.

I'm sure if Jump Ultimate Stars came out in the states it would sell like crazy. For an import title I'm guessing it sold rather well.

Clock Tower 3 :)

Very japanese, and very scary.

Little Kid getting murdered with a sledgehammer

Chopper Boss Battle (this guy makes it look easy)

Rygar (ps2) This was a great game that no one played, and significant because now everything that comes out which mimics god of war, people call it a god of war clone instead of a rygar clone.

Zone of the enders 2 - this was the best mech game I've played yet, it's fast pace, unlike slow movements of other mech games, and had great epic battles. Wish robotech battlecry was like this, sigh.
Also Indigo Prophecy I was hooked on this game for a few weeks
My first post on here I was going to say this game as well. Easiest way to obtain is XBL Arcade (Xbox Originals - 1200 pts - worth it if you want to play a game where story matters though camera angles get a little annoying sometimes).

Endless Ocean was a really nice change of pace for me. If you're looking for a relaxing experience in your games, that's it. It's a bit educational too, with its non intrusive info on the fish you discover.

What about Jet Set Radio Future? That was on the Xbox. Very fun and very original. It was like the only game I recall renting twice because I was so adamant about beating it. I may actually buy it if they released it as an Xbox Original.

I meant that the original was never rereleased on any other consoles like many other DC games were.

You're right, Jet Set Radio Future is great, and it was actually one of the main reasons I bought an xbox. I much prefer JGR though.

The original is just so much more exciting to me and impressive for its time. The sequel didn't have hectic police chases and manual spray-painting that made the original so challengingly fun. On the other hand JSRF has a greater sense of speed, and the its skating playgrounds are much more vast and fun to play around with.

If you played JSRF, you shouldn't stop there. JGR is a bit of a a different game very much worth your time.

Seconded. The game did so much right. If it had looked as good as God of War and had a threesome, it would've sold as many copies. Unfortunately, sex sells and it's kind of disappointing that one franchise would be successful almost solely because of it.

I'm not saying God of War is a bad game. It's awesome. I'm just saying if you play it and Rygar side by side, Rygar is just as impressive considering it came out Nov 2002 and God of War came out in March 2005.

God of War has a better story but I think people were hooked by that "good ole fashioned ultra violence" and gratuitous nudity.

I see a lot of influence of Rygar in God of War without a doubt, but is it still worth playing with the two God of War games out? I've seen videos of both games, and purely based on that God of War seems to do everything better.

Then again I've never played it, I'm just worried it's going to feel like a watered down God of War experience if I ever do.

All Pro Footbal 2k8. Best real football simulation made yet. Without the NFL license, nobody gave it a chance.

Of course it's worth playing God of War. It's just that the game rips alot of elements from Rygar but people picked God of War as Sony's new darling boy.

Rollcage

Fantastic, futuristic racing game for PlayStation and PC. Similar to the Ricochet R/C cars, the wheels are taller than the actual hull of the racers, meaning that each car can drive normally or upside-down with no loss in momentum. You can drive into a tunnel, ride up the walls, and race through the remainder of the tunnel on the ceiling (like the Elvis scene in Men in Black), only to shoot out the other side, land right-side up, and keep driving.

And there's weapons, explosions, and destructible environments.

He was asking if its worth playing Rygar.

Yikes! I should stop blazing through a page before I post.

Yes.... Yes Yes! It's definately worth playing Rygar. Then again, I did play it before God of War came out but you should definately give it a shot.

Rygar is definitely still worth playing. I still consider it one of the best PS2 titles. Does it lack the flash of God of War? Sure, but that's sort of like comparing Mario to Klonoa.

the best game ever and it just got ignored so hard.....PHANTOM DUST for xbox original and is also back words compatible for the 360.
