http://community.2ksports.com/community/league/?l=226578We are using a flex-schedule which means you can play your games in any order. Everyone is expected to play a minimum of 2 games per week.

Teams:
Lakers - seen*
Clippers - shinryuu
Spurs - lmz00
Celtics - pitfallharry219
Pacers - Finess
Suns - Immortal fWd
Pistons - Xxxplosive1
Nuggets - thamaster24
Sixers - Commander0zero
Hornets - MSUHitman
Heat - c0rnpwn
Jazz - elpolloestupendo
Thunder - FrankySox
Knicks - ubernes

As like the Madden "Replacements" league, this will try to move at a speedy pace meaning 2 games a week minimum to keep the league moving. Please do not join if you cannot make that commitment.

Game info:
Since the game has not been released I don't know if we'll need to adjust any sliders. I think 6 minutes should be a good game length, at least 2 games per week and play fair (no exploits/cheating).
16 teams or less with a 10 game regular season schedule & all playoff rounds being a best of 3 series. I am not against a larger league but would like to get a season in with almost all games played before expanding for future seasons.

If you are interested in joining and have been a CAG for longer than 2 months please post 2 teams in order of preference. This posting will stay current with teams already picked. This is a cheese free & mature league, I will not tolerate otherwise.
I have sent invites to everyone for the league on XBL and you will have till Sunday evening at the latest to join with the team you have chosen.

Wait, if you think the Lakers are overrated, why would you pick them?

My team preference:
1. Los Angeles Lakers
2. Chicago Bulls
 
Lol...having to use an OP team as if that would increase your chances in winning. Why don't people actually take teams they, ya' know, like anymore? Everyone has to take the team with the highest overall.

Anyways, if this doesn't wind up being a disaster, I'll take Milwaukee (do I really need another...I don't think the Bucks are a hot commodity).
 
I'd be the Warriors if I knew Stephen Jackson was staying because without him they are pretty weak.
 
I would have picked the Warriors but with Stephen Jackson wanting a trade I'm worried he may not be on their team when the game releases.
 
The game is still pretty far away and 2k hasnt release anything as far as online franchise go.

I mean I am always up for a league just seems really early. But I will take The Magic or Atlanta.
 
I realize its a little early but, I'm pumped up from the draft combine and thought I'd take the enthusiasm to get a league setup; once it gets closer I'll bump up the thread. 2k9 franchise/season system wasn't bad and knowing 2k, I'd expect an improvement.

I will got with my hometown Pistons, though I know they are going to suck all kinds of ass this year. My second choice would be Denver. I still root for my boy Chauncey.

You don't have to give them up man, if you want them they're yours. I didn't notice the Mavs weren't taken as a first choice yet. A lineup of Kidd, Terry, Marion, Howard, and Nowtizki could be pretty nasty. yukine if you want the Suns, you can have them, if not I'll take them. I'd like to switch my choice from the Warriros to the Mavs as my second choice, if yukine keeps the Suns, I'll take the Mavs.

In all seriousness, you have more experience with the games and you probably always use the Suns in CAG leagues so I'll be glad to take the Mavs instead.

Alright man, I've actually only done the league thing once, which was last season, and I'll admit I didn't do that great. Hopefully this year I'll do better.

Immortal, don't be so hard on yourself. Your win/loss record wasn't too great, but you were in it till the end both times you played me. You've got skills, son. ;)
 
what up fellas. I'm brand new to the site and I found it by googling "online 2k10 lgs". I'm very active and very competitive. I know I haven't played in any lgs with you guys but I'd love to get involved. I'm an Ohio boy and would love to use my cavs but I can make it work with some other team too. Not sure who runs the board so if you want to hit me up in an email, its [email protected].

We had some good games last year. I recall sucking cause the Pistons always would miss layups in the beginning of the game and I would have to play from behind. It would happen in everyonline game I would play.
 
Please read the OP if you'd like to participate, those who have not will be able to join. As a prime example of this the last 4 posts are from people haven't read the OP.

Dammit never saw this until today and now my team (Hornets) was picked. I don't get a chance to defend my playoff run last year. Have fun everyone, yet another CAG League I can't get in. :(

Bah!! I moved too late . Maybe i can get in on season 2 or a Fantasy one. By the way seen is doing a great job with our Madden league so this should be just as good!

I will have the game on day 1 if you need a replacement. First choice would be the Hornets, second choice would be the Blazers.
 
Amazon doesn't fuck around. I preordered with two day shipping. It shipped today, and it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I love living so close to a warehouse.

Unfortunately, due to a new work schedule at a job I was just hired for, coupled with school... I really won't have time to participate in the league.

Sorry about that, luckily there are plenty of reserves to take my place though. I would of mentioned this earlier but I just found out recently.
 
I was just told by the Gamestop manager that all of their games that were street dated for tomorrow were lost by UPS so I may not have the game tomorrow night. He is on the phone with UPS trying to find it.
 
I wasn't planning on getting this game right away... but the idea of another CAG NBA league is awfully tempting (even though I know it's full right now). Either way, I'll certainly be following what's happening here.
 
Gamestop manager just misplaced the box with all the street dated stuff yesterday (Gamestop got about 33 boxes yesterday via UPS) so I have my copy and am about to put it in if I don't start recording/planning my podcast for this week.
 
Like yukine, I just started a new job as well. I work Monday-Friday from 10AM-6PM (1PM-9PM eastern). It will change once daylights savings changes. Arizona stays the same so it will be noon-8pm eastern once the changeover happens. If this isn't a problem, then I will still play. If it is a problem, please let me know.
