Level Up 2 Different Created Ballers To Level 10​

Is the only way to get this by going through career mode to level 10 with two separate characters or is there an easier, more streamlined way?

get one character to level 10, then go to create baller, and go to homecourt challenge choose your new baller, and make him level 10...there isn't a shortcut

the achievements can't all take 2 minutes, now can they? ;)

I thought the customization was pretty shitty. You can't really do much except with the face and even that is limited. You pick a preset one and then you pick 2 NBA players faces. Then you can morph your face to look a little like those 2 players you picked. IMO it's really stupid. They could have done a lot more with it.
 
just wondering, what did you guy "Freak" out. I freaked my handles cause I thought it was the fastest way to get GB and my guy is a guard
 
The homecourt challenge is pissing me off. I hate how in the begining the other team will just magically turn on win mode. You cant dribble for more than a second or two, dunking becomes impossible and your defense becomes retarded

What difficulty are you playing on?

I think this is a good system, or at least innovative. Just think of how many faces you can make out of a system like that. The possiblities are almost endless. Sure it sucks if you are trying to make a guy look like you (unless you look like an NBA superstar) but just for creative customization the face morphing is pretty neat. IMO.

yea, the difficulties are: easy, medium, hard, and expert i think

i started on hard and went around 11 wins - 17 losses on hard mode (beat carmello) and then said that it wasnt worth the frustration and set it to medium...

my guy is at level 14 right now and i'm about to play Rip hamilton in my first tourney...

i still think that playing online is still the most fun to be had in this game :)
 
Yea im on hard. My record is about that. The lack of things to do early on is getting frustrated by itll get better. BTW has anyone played with or against the WNBA. Im not being sexist or anything but they play exactly like the guys, and its kinda wierd to see. Its still good that they included them though

i have in homecourt challenge (once you get to around level 8 or 9-ish, youll be able to play a few of the girls...in fact, i even recruited 2 of them (not at the same time) since their stats are pretty good besides power

particularly good are diana taurasi (100 shooting), and sue bird (100 passing) and both are quick as mice..they can get to loose balls very quickly
 
I beat homecourt mode just now, all in all it was pretty fun. Words of advice, your level maxes out at 20. So sweet tooth at your rate you will be maxed out before you even get halfway through the game.

haha I've seen you on all day for the past couple days. So are there any special events or unlockings that occur from finishing it?

And I wouldn't mind having a tournament with a few of us, someone suggested it a few days ago. If someone would set it up I'd play and actually finish.

oh really? then i'll just proceed on then, since i already got my masterskill..i was playing the scrubs to try to get the most "bang for my buck" but i guess that it doesnt matter if you just play all the tourneys i guess you can get your max potential anyway, huh?

oh yea, i just got an adrenaline rush....i just beat the number 35 and number 3 (this guy's record is now 83-8 after playing me :lol:) ranked people in the world online :D :D :D

DAMN this game is good online..no lag AT ALLLLL...silky smooth butter, great job by EA...that's what they said they were gonna work on, smooth online play and i gotta give them credit for it

yea, those are the ones that you can get real quick..in fact you can get 6 of the achievements by playing 1 or 2 games which adds to 300 pts..then get the extra 40 by playing homecourt challenge and getting to level 5 which takes 2 minutes...the rest take time though, just to let you know in advance

Yeah after day one i ad 15 of 16 achievements. I finished the achievements out the next day.

I picked shooting. Not very glamourous, but it's nice to be able to hit 2 pointers at any given moment. :cool:

One of my main disappointments with the game has been the lack of customization. I'm not only speaking about the character creation, but the lack of outfits and shoes. Granted, I haven't gotten that far in the game, but so far, I've only unlocked a couple pairs of shoes at level 8.

Other than that, I'm enjoying the game a lot. I like the changes to the Gamebreakers and the whole gameplay feels more refined. It'd be nice if they had an online tournament feature a la the 2K series. I guess you can't have it all!
 
I just need the seeing double achievement and I'll have them all. I will probably get it later tonight. This will be the first game I ever get 1000 points on.
 
Achievements were pretty easy....rented it and got all but the online and the two level 10 ballers one. That is fine with me though...returning today. The game is not that exciting to me anymore. I played 1 online game, and got bored....

I don't get it, my guy has 100% shooting ability but it's a crapshoot whether or not I'll make a shot, even inside the arc. Is there anything I can do to maximize it, I'd RTFM but I rented it so no dice? Thanks.

BTW, down on the d-pad sets your teammate up for a jump-off dunk and up sends him up for an alley oop.

well it wouldnt be fair if the guy made EVERY SINGLE shot, now would it? just b/c you maxed it out to 100, doesn't mean he will make it 100% of the time...it just means he'll be really accurate...he'll make lots and miss few
 
Well, it would be fair if there was some skill involved, wouldn't it? Like with the dunks, the stats don't determine everything, it's up to you to land it and even with a maximized character you can still mess it up if you're not paying attention. I just found it really shitty that I'd get stuck in a shots only game and I'd build up my gamebreaker meter only for my guy with maxed out shooting to miss an easy shot a couple of feet from the basket. I was just asking to see if there was an equivalent skill based modifier for shots like there was for dunks.

Another tip: Press "X" on the challenges menu to see if there are any secondary objectives. Often times you'll get more experience if you complete the bonus objectives, stuff like "Complete 3 Gamebreakers" or "Block 4 Shots."

wait...you shoot the ball when you have a gamebreaker? ;) just playing

anyway, i dont know what to tell you man...my guy has a master skill in shooting and he makes 95% of all shots taken inside the half-court line...one thing that i have noticed is that if you hold the shoot button too long, it doesn't go in as often..so either tap it without pumpfaking...or hold it for about 2 seconds and let go...don't hold it any more b/c he will automatically shoot since his feet will hit the ground if you hold it any longer

Has anyone else experienced issues with playing online? I've never been disconnected by the server so much!

I've played plenty of other games online, including other EA games, but I have yet to finish one game of NBA Street. I tried quick games, private sessions where I host, and private sessions where the opponent hosts.
 
no problem here. This game is actually one of the best online game I've played. (I mean when your online, and not the setup, cause the no lobbies thing is so stupid)
