NCAA Online Dynasty

That's cool, I started playing some games online and i'm 2-0 so far. Maybe I can rejoin next season if I get better.
Awesome, you sure you don't want to try one more game then? If you're doing well online, you should be better off now that you've played a few games against CPU Heisman.

If not, we won't try to guilt you anymore. ;) As far as I am concerned, you would be welcomed back next season.

Yea, just surprised, as I was 21 I think..only to drop 1 spot when losing to (at the time) an unranked team seemed odd. I figured I would be out of the rankings for sure.

ESPN classic as I survived the ranks of the undefeated barely once more. 33-30 win over Indiana. Trailed the entire game. I was down 7 with about three minutes left, got a TD, INT, and then a 41 yard run by my QB Gardner on a broken play to get me into FG range for the win as time ran out. I really thought I had my first loss in this one.

When do you guys plan to play your game?

I wish I could get some decent recruits. I don't have any 5 stars interested in me at all, so didn't bother adding any to my board, but the few 4 stars that I was even on the list, I was so many pts behind, there was pretty much no chance to get them. Now I am going to be lucky to even get a handful of 3 stars it seems and probably get a ton of 2's. It is going to be embarrassing when we hit a few years into this thing. I'm gonna struggle to hit .500.

I have never done the recruiting part before so I was lost with that. It seems like every time I log in I am getting locked out by 5+ people. Kinda sucks but oh well.

Recruiting is difficult but you have to know your team's limitations. I really only go after guys that have me top 3 from the start. I also watch how much other teams are spending (if I spent 200 last week and my pipeline bonus is 300 and Ohio st gained 300 on me and their pipeline bonus is also 300, then they spent 500 on the guy - is it worth it to me to spend 500 this week or more to catch up? No? Take him off the board)

The nice thing about the game this year is that your attractiveness to recruits depends on your stats ranking and record. Michigan's stadium is now the toughest place to play in the country because I haven't lost there. I'm sure Ohio St will be attractive to QBs next year considering Braxton's numbers, etc.

Ill advance soon

Advanced. I'm on the bye and still ranked 4. Iowa jumped up to 16 and Ohio St dropped a few to 23. Iowa with another tough test this week against #14 Norwestern, facing a Heisman hopeful QB for the 2nd week in a row.

Edged by NU, 15-14. After getting shut down on my first drive and having them march over me for a TD, I made a bad call on my second drive, going for it on 4th and goal at their 1 and failing to punch it in (I still say it should have been reviewed!). They were marching down the field again and with about 45 seconds left in the half, I let them score a TD so I could have a little time to try to score and get SOME momentum going, I was able to do just that, ran a great drive and scored before the half ended and nailed the 2 pt conversion too (I felt strongly that I need to do it, my first one tried all year).

i was able to shut them down the next two drives in the 2nd half and score another TD to take a 15-14 lead. I was driving late, looking to expand the lead and got to the goal line again. On third down, I wanted a TD to ice the game for good, but my only really poor passing decision of the game led to an INT and lengthy return with 90 seconds to go.

Thankfully my coverage was tight and I was able to keep the QB scrambling..while this was successful, it only took them to my 35 yard line before a big sack pushed them to the 42 with only time left to do one more bomb. It failed and the Hawkeyes walk out with a 1 pt win.

Thanks guys. Interesting tidbit..Going into that game, 5 out of the 6 teams in the Legends division only had 1 loss. That is pretty crazy considering how far we are into the season.

Well boys, another ESPN Classic is in the books. 54-48 Win over Penn State. 4OT Game. Miller was not as impressive because I was trying to impress the recruits that I had in town this week.

Miller 20-34 334 Yds Passing - 2TD but 4INT  :wall:   However, he also went for 48 yds on 12 carries for 5 Rushing TD's

Damn, 5 rushing TDs..you are pretty sick running with him.

Just a reminder guys, I am heading out of town here..gonna be gone through Monday. My game for this week is already played, so when CC gets back, you guys can advance and get in your next games.

I had a running back in town for a visit so I intentionally ran the ball more than normal. Also when I was near the end zone a QB Blast was a easy score.

Advanced.

Commissioner Update:

I'm excited that my #1 recruiting target, QB Harwell has committed. Ohio St got the HB I was after, Andre Ferguson. Nobody wants to go to Iowa :whistle2:(

Everyone remains ranked. Mich (4), Iowa (12) and Ohio St (20). This week I've got Mich St who stands at 7-1. I think all of my games the rest of the season are against ranked opponents. Iowa has the 3-4 Wisconsin, and Ohio St has the 4-3 Purdue.

Look who's back on top of the Heisman Watch: Braxton Miller, leading the league with 3293 passing yards.

I just had a terrible game against Purdue. Lost 24-21 with a last second field goal after Purdue picked off a pass with 44 seconds remaining. Terrible playing on my part. I tried to earn the trophy for 200 yards passing and 200 yards rushing. Stupid idea to do during this league. I should just do that a normal "Play Now" game.

Ah yeah I think we've all succumbed to the lure of trying to get a trophy and/or stats at some point and screwing up a game because of it. Ill be playing my game tomorrow.

Michigan 36, Michigan St 7. 3 TDs through the air and 2 more on the ground for Devin Gardner. Take that Braxton! (Of course I also threw three picks but who's counting?)

I played my game this morning gents, sorry for not posting. Been hectic since I left and then got back from town.

I just got SPANKED by #5 Nebraska, 48-29, and let me tell you, that score looks closer than it actually was. They absolutely dominated. Their QB, Taylor Martinez, who is in te race for Heisman with Braxton, was 11-12 with 98 yards and a TD passing, and, ready for this, 232 yards and 3 TDs rushing on 17 carries. Just insane. Undefeated no more. Was too good to be true.

#3 lost as well, crazy week indeed. Can't believe you finally got beat CC, thought you were going to run the table for sure.

I got in my game and beat Indiana 27-12, though it was much closer than the score indicates. Another big comeback win.

No problem boosted.

Honestly, I was a little scared of going undefeated. I never did it before and I was thinking "these guys are going to think that I'm so good that they don't want to play another season with me, when the truth is we are all probably of pretty equal skill".

I give you major credit for being 9-1 now with Iowa. Extremely impressive. Have you played Nebraska yet? I hope you knock them down a peg because they don't have a conf loss yet and you and I need them to lose one for either of us to have a shot at playing in the Big 10 championship this year.

Thanks. I have had a lot of comeback wins. Against Purdue for example, they were up 12-0 in the middle of the 3rd when I finally got going and ripped 27 pts off in a row. That kind of play is going to catch up to me though. I could see myself going down hard and finishing 9-3. I still should get into a decent bowl game at least if that happens.

I haven't played Nebraska yet, they are my last game. I actually am down to my last 2. I have a bye week, then you and end with them. Should be an exciting ending.

EA online is down so I'm afraid to start my game even though it'll let me (don't know if the game will upload and count). I'll try again later

That sucks. I did log in and do my recruiting. I can't believe with as many top teams losing, I only went up one spot. Them's the breaks I guess. I hold the keys to my own destiny, all I have to do is upset two top 5 teams and I win the division and will play for the Big 10 title and an outside chance to play for the national title. No problem at all.

Pretty cool though, in our division, we have THREE Top 10 teams in the country, FOUR top 15 and FIVE in the Top 20. Not bad considering there is only six teams in there.

Boosted probably will win the Big Ten actually. Mich, Iowa and Nebraska all on the same side of the conference unfortunately. You also have a top 5 recruiting class thus far. Boosted, you'll be just fine. Playing my game right now.

I can't believe the game I just lost. Down 16 around halftime my QB gets hurt. Backup comes in and still down 16 in the 4th. Leads a perfect drive for a TD with 2pt conversion. Get a stop. Two minute drive down the field, score again. Two point to tie with seconds left....pass barely deflected. Couldn't believe it. Iowa, the conference is your's for the taking.

Throwing this out to you guys if you love NCAA.  Check out onlinedynasty.net  The NDL in a full-sim NCAA league that has been going on for 27 seasons (year 9 now irl)  Full stats, awards, boards, etc.  Check it out and if you'd like to join, we have spots in the farm.   Can put Uuaww in the referral section.  This is sim football with rules but its awesome.

So are you guys interested in doing a Madden league with importing our NCAA draft classes? I haven't purchased yet but was considering ordering it tonight. I was originally going to wait until NFL season started but I figured I'd see what your plans were. Boosted, no rush but you're the only game left to play this week. I think we have Mich v. Iowa up next!
