Ok, so I've got $15 left on a giftcard, and I need help deciding what to get. Obviously quality over quantity, but if there are a few great cheap titles in here, I'm more likely to go with them over one excellent title. Trophies are a plus. Here is what I've lowered the list down to:

Astro Tripper $4.99
Burn Zombie Burn $9.99
Everyday Shooter $9.99
flOw $7.99
Flower $9.99
Noby Noby Boy $4.99
Piyotama $2.99
Super Stardust HD $9.99

Now I haven't played most of these as I haven't seen any demos for them on the PSN, except for Super Stardust. I've heard good things about Flower, I like what I played of Super Stardust, Piyotama looks like a fun puzzle game, Everyday Shooter looks pretty cool, and Astro Tripper looks a bit too clost to Mutant Storm on the XBLA (which I own). What would you guys suggest?

Please do NOT suggest any games outside of these! I have already lowered it down to these, and I already own a few of the great titles the PSN offers.

Forget Flower. It's a glorified tech demo.

Noby Noby Boy is only fun if you really like the art style or have someone to play locally with (that patch was cool).

I can't comment on anything else, but those are my two cents.

If noby noby is something you are really, really sure you'd be interested in, I'd get that and Super Stardust.

Otherwise I say Super Stardust and Astro Tripper!

Here's what I think of the games individually as well:
Super Stardust is a must no matter what you choose! It's one of the most fun games on the PSN imo, and is a must play if you like shooters.

I got bored of Everyday Shooter after a couple hours, and I got bored of Piyotama after a couple minutes!

Noby noby boy is really funny, but I'm not much into playing it for any extended period. Most of the time I play it is to show people how ridiculous and funny it is, not to actually play the game, and I could do that with YouTube videos anyway:p

My girlfriend absolutely loved Flower, but beat it in one sitting. I never played it, but it looked pretty cool.

Haven't played fl0w or burn zombie burn, but I want to play both.

I would go with super stardust out of that list and buy the addons as well. Burn Zombie Burn is fun but it gets pretty hard after 100 levels or so, and there is a better looking zombie game coming that allows online co-op.

Super Stardust. Fun to play for a minute. Fun to play for hours.

Don't buy the others. Find someone who already owns them, invite yourself over to their place, and play them.

Once again, you prove you have a horrible understanding of the English language.

Have any interest in gamesharing?

Maybe you could post in the gameshare thread that you'd want to get a group with all those games and you'd use the $15 voucher and the rest can split the remaining cost 4 ways.

I'd suggest that, but if you're not interested in going that route I'd definately say stardust and noby noby boy are good buys.

heres one bit of english i understand

douchebag = naes :). btw i think you spelled your name backwards..........

Flower is amazing, and is a lot more than a tech demo. Sure it showcases one specific aspect of the ps3 (motion control), but when it is that relaxing and engrossing, who the hell cares.

Oh no! Someone who barely understands English called me a douchebag! What shall I do?

i dunno hopefully go fuck yourself. seriously it always amuses me how so many people on this board like to cop attitude and pretend theyre better than everyone. if you took the time to pull that stick ot of your ass maybe you could sit and chill with the rest of society and not have to stand on your pedestal all day.

its sad tthe best comeback you can come up with is english. yeah i dont spell check and yes i only glossed over the post so i missed what he was looking for so what? but hey as long as you feel just a tiny bit better about yourself at the end of the day im happy for you.:applause:

I wouldn't call it 'engrossing'. The game is relaxing, but its little more than a tech demo really. I mean, I still enjoyed it, but when I think about it, it's not worth the price of admission. I will say it's extremely pretty and a nice work of art, but not much of a game.

It still amazes me that you completely ignored the bold part of the OP and then snapped. You amuse me.

Well out of that list I have Burn Zombies Burn and Super Stardust. Both great games but I'd give the edge to Stardust. It is pretty addicting. If you liked geometry wars you'll like it too.

I love how you think I am a Grammar Nazi when I'm actually just saying that you don't know how to read.

Keep going, this is amusing.

Fat Princess will be out soon, though it's outside your list.

If you'd already considered unreleased stuff then I'd say Super Stardust is your best bet.

Flower was fun, but I'm not going to recommend it at @ $10. If it was around $7 or ideally $5, or even if they added a level or two, maybe a "challenge mode" or something to boost the play time, then I'll recommend it whole-heartedly. But, at the current iteration and price-point, pretty low on the priority list for me.

Super Stardust HD is pretty cool, and if you have someone else to play local co-op with it, I'll even say that the $15 bundled price (with the two add-ons) is a must-buy. The demo actually sold me on the game. Beware though, it's the first PS3 game that made my chuck my old sixaxis out of frustration.

Out of the list the OP listed, I only have Noby Noby Boy. It's a weird and quirky game and definitely worth $5 just to mess around with for the SHORT amount of time you'll actually find yourself playing it.

Otherwise, I'd stick to downloadable content for games you have and skip most of the rest of those games.

Fat Princess comes out this week for $15 and a lot of CAG's are getting it. Other than that, I would say Everyday Shooter and Super Stardust HD are the next two best games on that list.

I agree with hohez, Flower was amazing. Sure, it may not have the depth or longevity as a game like MGS4 or Oblivion, but it's a game that should be experienced nonetheless.

'43?

I appreciate the input folks; I think the next one I will be picking up is Super Stardust HD; my girlfriend seems to enjoy playing that one with me, and I myself think it's pretty damn fun.

Also want to thank those who clearly read the OP and suggested games outside of my proposed list.
