Swung by the CC at the Avenues and they had 3 bins sorted by console. There was about 5 or 6 geeky dudes looking through the games too with a list and a hand basket. I already pre-bought Project Snowblind (Xbox) and Baten Kaitos (GC) earlier in the week so I price adjusted without any problems (they just refunded the $20.03 each) and then swung by the bins and picked up Ridge Racer DS with no problems.

I was tempted to pick up Spider-Man 2 & Bloodrayne 2 for Xbox, but thought better as I have a ton of games that I haven't even played yet and thought I could pretty much pick everything else for less they were selling for $10 used sometime down the road if I really wanted them.

They had some decent games. Few more Bloodyrayne 2's and one spierman 2 for those interested in trading them in. I know the value at gamecrazy is pretty good.

Im happy with what I got. This isnt like the 5 dollar sale last year, but thats fine with me.

Funny how much the selection varies by store:

Bloomington, MN has squat. Literally the entire bin was less than half the size of the other 19.99 discount bin. Snagged a couple of GBA games for the rugrats, but nothing notable.

Burnsville, MN HAD a huge selection. Purchased:
XBOX - MLB Slugfest, Riddick, LOTR-ROTK (7.99 actually)
GBA - 2 beyblades, madden, LOTR-two towers
left behind:
2 copies baiten, 2 copies FX Zero

One notable event ... CAG's working together!
The guy working the floor brought out a second box to help clear up the HUGE mess. A couple of CAG's helped sort the titles PS2/PS1 (yes, ps1 titles) into 1 box; Everything else into the other. Of course, while sorting we were snagging titles right and left. :)
 
All I can say is I'm glad I got my titles early. Got the difference refunded without a problem.

If you want something from this sale, go now. My CC actually opened at 10 AM, and by 11 AM it was like a tornado of nerds.
 
I picked up Project Snowblind (Xbox), R63 w/ headset, Thief, and Baten Kaitos at the east side Madison store. They were the last copies of all of them. I was there about 10 minutes after they opened, and there was only one guy browsing the bin (hi if you're reading this).

BTW, I noticed the copies of SOCOM for sale did have the headset, fyi.

Just got back from the Henderson, NV Circuit City. They had a few copies of Baten Kaitos, a lot of copies of Stuntman and XIII. No Grand Theft Auto Double Packs, unfortunately, but I did pick up KoF: Maximum Impact and the only copy of Prince of Persia 2 for the Cube. I was really surprised, though, I got there when the store opened, and it was just me. Maybe you Vegas CAGs don't get up very early.
 
At Gateway in Brooklyn, NY, i got there in time for opening. there were lots of ppl waiting. i was the first person who got into the games section. all the others went for the DVDs. i thought many of them gonna be at the games section. i was looking through the racks. none of them have the $10 games. then i found the bin.

i got:

i saw like 3 copies of baten left, 6 copies of PoP2, about 4 copies of Nanobreaker.
many of them are single copies of each i guess. like project snowblind, hitman contracts, dothack which i got the last copy, siren, gladius, arc the lad, gungrave OD. bloodrayne2 got like 3 copies left. no megaman. no transformers. i saw like 5 copies of SRS for GC. no SRS for ps2. i didnt bother looking at the xbox section. i was thinking about getting project snowblind.

Not even a single DS game. i cant find any DS games.

Not everything on the list was there though. =/ Daruga was still $20. Luckily for me, I couldn't find Nanobreaker, but when I asked, an employee went to the back and pulled it out for me. ^_^

:rofl: Oh yea? Mine had a tornado of fire and the only was through it was on a motorcycle.
 
Nothing really thrilled me. Some decent games there, but I had played them all. Not a collector so having them means diddly to me. If you are a collector, then by all means you better get down there quick.

The only one I wanted that wasn't there was 007 EoN for GC, but my CC didn't have it. Plenty of Riddicks, Breakdowns, SOCOMs, Bloodrayne 2s, and many others.

I picked up RRDS, Van Helsing, Eyetoy: Groove, PoP:WW, Onimusha: Blade Warriors and Socom WITH HEADSET!

My store changed the prices of all the socom headset boxes to $10 because that's what they thought they should have had to pull.

There was jackshit for GameCube games and a lot of the biggies were gone.
I put down SRS, F-Zero GX and some others. Lots of F-Zero and Project: Snowblind.

I wanted Dothack and Nanobreaker :((((((
 
Damn most of these games are also online folks so don't waste the gas and time unless you must have them today. SHipping is free over $25 so online is my friend now.
 
leaving to CC right now (open in half an hour). Wish me luck. Still cant make up my mind to if i want to buy breakdown, riddick, and maybe another game.

No problem whatsoever.

I don't think I got back the 10% difference, because I adjusted two $30 dollars games and only got back $42. 10% of a $20 dollar difference would be $2 a piece (making it $44 back), but I wasn't in any mood to complain.

Crap, I forgot about F-Zero GX. I will get that for sure. I will skip Riddick since my friend and I beat it when it came out (he owned it, played most of it) and will probably skip breakdown
 
Got there at 11 AM (usual store opening time). They opened today at 10 AM. Oops.

There were 3 guys there already with lists and had actually nicely sorted out all the games.

That was cool.

The CAGers had helped sort things nice and neat for the store.

Also, a HUGE big thumbs up to the downright niceness and coolness of the other CAGers there.

Within minutes I had the bulk of the games on my list as the guys were asking what I was looking for and knew where the games were and grabbed them for me. A few of them were even last copies of the games.

We were also asking each other for recommendations and review scores of games we weren't certain about. A lot of very good freindly comraderie. That was sure nice to see. I was half expecting a cut throat competition for the games (which I dread), instead it was like a little gamers convention. Friendly help and good conversation. An enjoyable experience.

The store had a pretty darn good stock.

Still a fairly good selection there when I left, but obviously the titles were dwindling, so I wouldn't wait at all.

I wasn't able to score Gladius, Arc the Lad, GTA Bundle, SSX3, or Samurai Warriors as they were sold out by the time I got there.

Of the games I picked up, I got the last copy of Riddick - XB, Bloodrayne 2 - XB, and Thief - XB, I believe. The others that I bought still had maybe a couple copies each left.
 
There was nothing written about a limit at the CC I went to, I even asked the girl putting up the signs and she said it didn't say so just take whatever. There weren't that many copies of each game though...

I think there were problems with it on all the systems. There's a sequence in the game where something that's supposed to happen doesn't and it causes a game-stopping glitch since you can't proceed.

I bought the Xbox version the day it came out and I got past the part with no problems, however.
 
wanted POP WW, didn't see it in crapton(dayton/beavercreek), oh

they had:

socom with headset -- heard that cheaters run wild online, so no point in getting it
gungrave OD
eye toy(1 copy)

and a bunch of other craptacular titles.
 
I just got back a little bit ago from my local CC (Parkersburg, WV). I didn't find what I was looking for (The Suffering), but I managed to pick up

Baten Kaitos (last copy)
Hitman:Contracts (PS2)
Project Snowblind (PS2)

Not too bad. There were still a lot of games left. I also picked up Baseketball for $5 and Monty Python and the Holy Grail SE for $10. Not a bad day.

'Just got back from the Glendale, CA CC. 'Got exactly what i went in looking for:

-Ham Ham Games ( few left; on the Gameboy shelf )
-Ridge Racer ( few left )
-Baten Kaitos ( sorry, i got the last one! Though, the Burbank, CA store had 4 copies left yesterday. )

Glendale had a TON of $10 games in the front of the store in an unmarked bin, and many scrambled around on the shelves.
 
I got KOF MI PS2, Project Snowblind XB, Baten Katios GC and Spiderman 2 XB. I wanted Bloodrayne 2 and the GTA Double Pack but no luck here. I might return Spiderman 2 because its only $19.99, and it is usually on sale for $14.99 so $9.99 wasn't that much of a sale for me. However I ended up trading in Spiderman 2 a while ago, so buying it back for less is a good thing.

Oh this was at the CC in Brea, CA on Birch/State College. It was funny because when I arrive at the store I walked around and didn't see any dump bins so I just went through the game sections. I could not find one game except for the stupid ones that were advertised in the flyer (i.e. corvette, ford, disney princess etc). So I asked one of the guys their if they have any other games on sale since the ad states "these titles and more". So he was like "Yeah we have a huge list, we pulled all of them last week, but I will bring them out". A few seconds later he pulled out like 2 bins full of the games. Later on another employee and him were talking about how customers get a list online from some website called "cheapgamer.com or something. I couldn't help but laugh a little and walk away with my games.

Anyway if anyone plans to visit that store in Brea, These were the titles that were left as of 10:30 AM Pacific time

How is the headset that comes with Rainbow Six 3, compared to the one that comes with the live kit (the current one with crimson skies)? I'm thinking I should have grabbed one of those...

I think it looks the same as the regular xbox live headset, but says Rainbow Six on it or something instead of the word "xbox".
 
Freak YEAH! Got there at 11:00 when they opened and was able to get all three of the games I wanted:

Ridge Racer (DS)
PoP:WW (GC)
MM:AC (GC)

No Baten Kaitos at all, but I didn't like the game anyway, so it's all good.
 
Hey, just got back and got Prince of Persia Warrior Within and Snowblind for PS2. My CC in MA had a ton of snowblind and prince of persia, but no ridge racer ds or DOT Hack. It was pretty empty, although I did go at like 12. Do you think they put all the titles out today, or have they held any back for tomorrow? I know some stores do that. I can hope can't I?
 
Well, my PM scenario went down pretty much as anticipated. As I ended up with more than 3 copies of some games due to CAG demand, I needed to go to a second store to do the PM's that I had left on the extra games.
