I thought my loal CC got cleaned out, but turned out they toss all the clearance games into a big bin. Picked up Hitman 2 for $7.99, Hitman Contracts for $9.99, FFVII for $7.49 and Fight Club for $9.99.

No sign of KoF CE, Rumble Roses, Onimusha Blade Warriors, Eye Toy Groove, Max Payne 2, The Suffering, Transformers and Gungrave OD at the Pasadena, CA CC.

So FFVII is still 7.49, guess that means the 50% off sale on all ps1 games is still on.

You might want to check the racks.

I found Suffering and a few other games on the racks at my CC - it seems they only pulled half the games for the sale.
 
if people are having a really hard time getting games i can prolly pick some up for you. Just pm me. My circuit city had a lot of games, i dont know if they had baton kaitos tho.

the hollywood cc on 4500 sunset has a few baten kaitos left as of 4pm today, and lots of the others(tiger woods all platforms, project snowblind ps2,)

the culver city CC has mispriced a few of the rainbow six 3(all platforms) down to $9.99 when i am pretty sure only the version with the headset is supposed to be $9.99.

but $9.99 seems a bit high for that game so i passed.

edit both of those stores have plenty of nightmare of druaga for 9.99 and rumble roses for $9.99(tho again, $10 seems a bit high for those, i would suggest waiting for $1.99 or $4.99 or even $7.99)

I went to the CC in Millbury, MA earlier today. There wasn't much. I had Rumble Roses and F-Zero GX in my hand, but decided to put them back. They were sort of secondary choices for me anyway; the ones I was hoping to find were Psi Ops, Project Snowblind (PS2), and PoP: WW (GC). No such luck. On the other hand, if I had been looking for 40 or 50 copies of XIII, I would have been in the right place.
 
This sale is advertised on the 2-day portion of the sale ad; however, any price at CC that ends in .96 is a closeout price so this sale MIGHT continue after Monday. This is NOT confirmed yet, just a possibility. As soon as I know, you'll know.

Picked up Rumble Roses, Transformers and Sudeki. RR is pretty coo for what it is. Of course, the shortcomings are glaring but you can't fault them for the damn good character models. If there was anything to fix for a sequel, it'd be the laughable story mode, the subpar VO acting and the lack of real stuff to do (considering Yukes had a hand at this, one would think we would see more specialty matches)...

The text of the Circuit City PM policy states the following:
If you've seen a lower advertised price from another local store with the same item in stock, we want to know about it. Bring it to our attention, and we'll gladly beat their price by 10% of the difference. If you see a lower advertised price (including our own sale prices) within 30 days of your purchase, we'll refund 110% of the difference.

Our policy applies only to advertised prices. It does not apply to special offers or promotions, including rebates, free-with-purchase offers and special financing. Nowhere in the ad does it say that the sale is a two-day sale in the ad. It also doesn't say it's a closeout sale. It's a sale they're running, you bought your games early, and it's their price you're getting a match on. They should have ponied up the extra 10%, regardless.


I had PM's on ~40 games go without incident, save I ended up getting more than 3 copies of some games and needed to go to another CC to get those additional PM's.


I'd go back to the store, printout of the policy in hand (the main store I go to has it on a big sign behind CustSvc) and explain to them where they're in the wrong and go get your extra 10% back. If that doesn't work, call CC corporate and get them to fix the issue.
 
picked up Baten Kaitos(NGC) and Bloodrayne 2(PS2). What is the deal with Baten Kaitos, everybody is purchasing or wanting to trade? Is it that good?
 
Not only did he hoard but he returned them at Walmart to get back more than $30 per game. He says in his post that it's nothing illegal, but there has to be some law he's breaking by doing that???

Yes, it is uber-illegal. People have been getting arrested over the past year for doing that kind of shit to Walmart on a large scale.

For a dose of good samaritanism, I picked up quite a few titles when the CC first opened. I was one of the first to the bin and I picked up each one from my list. There was a young lady on her phone and she sounded disappointed. She said that some of the titles she had on her list were not in the bin. I asked to see her list and sure enough some of the games I had in my hand were on her list. I looked over my basket and realized that I really didn't want/need all the ones I picked up so I instead let her have them. She thanked me and went on our seperate ways.

Seriously, not only is this taking away the good deals from good honest folks (including the regulars round here), but its very dishonest... and just plain wrong.

It the King of Fighter Maximum Impact collectors edition(The 3D king of fighter game) which is on the clearance sale, not the 2d King of fighter games.


But Maximum Impact is not as bad as I thought it would be and the bonus disc made the game worth it.

Baten Kaitos is a realy good Rpg and also because it is one of the newest release games and still worth something(Most places still have it for the full price).

It also a realy good game, and diffinitly worth the price.

Went to the Gateway (Portland, OR) Circuit City on my lunch break (10:05ish) and went crazy..... I picked up Ridge Racer DS and um.. well that's all I wanted! There were two others watching the games be put on the sales floor. Considered Baten Kaitos but I probably wouldn't have gotten around to playing it. Ridge Racer DS is decent (and worth) $10 dollars.

Oh right, I did in fact came here with a purpose, seems the CC in the walden area of Buffalo (tech cheektawaga, NY or however it's spelt :p) has a ton of games, I grabbed the last RR, and they were no POPs, THUG2s or MMACs, but there were plenty of nanobreakers and all the other stuff. This was earlier this afternoon though, I showed up 2 and 1/2 hours after they opened.

Lastly, please someone give MM:AC, I have a fucking TL, please look into it (or request a CC game, I might be able to get it) :)
