Which is funny, since the CC I went to told me that some guy came in and bought either $800 worth of games :shock:, and if it's the guy I'm thinking of, he's the bane of any CAG's existance in St. Louis, since he's probably done it at more than one CC. He did last year's sale, the 2004 TRU Green Tag sale, and so on. I bet he ends up returning most of it. :rofl:
 
Could someone who ordered KoF: Collector's Edition from the CC website let me know if they recieve MI or 02/03? It is back in stock on the website, and I just want to make sure I'm not totally losing.

hehehe, I went to Fry's Electronics yesterday and have them price matched Baten Kaitos.

The policy at Fry's is in-stock..... but my local CC doesn't have it in-stock. I think he PM an online one. Any how, I got it for $9.90. (beats CC by .06 w000) lol

Got back from N. Attleboro, MA. I could only get there today, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they had plenty of KOFs in stock. I grabbed one, and they still have a decent selection of other games, but no Baten Kaitos, MMAC, or Ridge Racer.

I've never seen him personally, only heard about him from the reps I've spoken with who have seen his wake and its aftereffects.

If I do run into him in person, I'm sure he'll be pretty easy to find, the jackassed asshat stuffing games into a cart or basket with as much speed as he's able. :roll:

Stopped by the Circuit City in New Orleans, LA today. They had a LOT left. Many copies of Project Snowblind, Bloodrayne 2, THUG2, Nano Breaker, KOF:MI Collector's Edition, and pretty much everything except MM:AC and Baten Kaitos. I didn't see any of the bundles: Socom w/ Headset, R6:3 w/ Headset, or GTA bundle. I myself picked up:

I also saw POP2 for Xbox marked at $9.99, but when I tried to buy it the guy at the register told me it was priced wrong and was actually $29.99.
 
Just dropped by at another CC. My expectations weren't very high this time around since this is a CC near all the big stores and a big shopping center. However, I was able to pick up Spiderman 2 (I passed it up the first time around at a different CC and couldn't find it again when I went back) and Rainbow 6 3 w/ headset (it wasn't in the bin, it was where the Karaoke Revolution bundles were). The box for R6 is pretty beat up though, but for $10 it's definitely worth it.

I also saw Mafia, Socom with headset (on the shelf though), PoP:SoT (GBA), lots of Manhunts (both in the bins and on the shelf), Shellshock, Vietcong, Yu Yu Hakusho: Tournament Tactics, Spyro, and some other games I don't remember.
 
I went to the store in Muncie, IN today and they still had quite a bit. I picked up POP:WW, SvC Chaos, THUG2, and Day of Reckoning. They still had 3 copies of Baten Kaitos.
 
I managed to get the last copy of Day of Reckoning at CC and also picked up F Zero while I was at it. The GC stuff was really light in the bargin bin, but tons of xbox and ps2 stuff.

Anybody manage to get an extra Megaman Anniversary for NGC and willing to trade for one of the games on the list or a different PS2 game of the same value? If you let me know what you want, I may be able to get it. PM me.

Went by today and the clearance bin had everything marked $9.99. I picked up Silent Hill 3 (last one) and Siren; they rang up $9.96

Titles I remember seeing:

Siren (PS2)
Tony Hawk Underground (GC)
Goblin Commander (GC)

F Zero (GC)
Harry Potter (GC)
Backyard Wrestling (XB)
Gungrave Overdose (PS2)

There were more but the above is what I can remember.
 
I went on Monday July 4th, and the store on Stearns in Long Beach, Ca didn't pull a couple of PS2 games for the bin, so there were plenty of copies of GTA Double Pack PS2 on the shelves, along with 1 KOF MI CE and 1 .hack Outbreak. I grabbed the last KOF MI and .hack and 1 GTA Double Pack.

Found a Frogger The Rescue PS2 at the Lakewood Store for $1.99, bought $100 of stuff with it, so with the FF coupon it was only $1.80.

I also got a La Pucelle Tactics for $1.99, I bought 2 other games hoping the cashier wouldn't notice, but he did. Called someone on his phone and then tried to change the price in the computer, but the computer wouldn't let him change the price above $1.99, so he just sold it to me for the $1.99 price. Makes up for the one I tried to buy a few months ago at the Lakewood store but got shot down by the csr.

Went to a CC but couldn't fork over $10 for most of these games. Nothing really enticed me. Sudeki came close, but I've heard SO much negative stuff about it that I'll stick with Tales of Symphonia, which I've played all of two hours.
 
I went and picked up Chronicles of Riddick and Snowblind for xbox. I wanted Thief: Deadly Shadows but they had none in stock. I advise everyone to pick up Riddick. Amazing game. Snowblind is good as well and the class-based multiplayer is fun.

Sudeki is fun for 10 bucks, that's what I paid for it back in the day.

I went to pick up the Halo 2 Map pack and I saw a Pitfall for XBOX that wasn't there before so I bought that as well.

I also ordered Vietcong XBOX from online.

Unfortunately I couldn't get Nanobreaker, MTV Music Generator 3, Onimusha: Blade Warriors or Shellshock but I'm not too heartbroken because those games can be found cheap. Not only that but I made out with some very nice games, so I'm happy.
 
Didn't find anything good at the one across from the Buena Park Mall. Just a bunch of Ping Pals, Gungrave, Psi-ops, and GBA Videos. (there were others..NCAA 2004 and whatnot but nothing else is worth mentioning IMHO.) Sux for me.
 
I just scored this morning. Not with my girlfriend, but a cc. I got there. The games were still on sale, and I picked up the last Baten Kaitos, Prince of Persia 2, and SNK Chaos.

By the way, if anybody has a zelda minish cap guide, i have a doom 3 and capcom fighting evolution guide, both in great condition i would like to trade.
 
I picked up Siren (PS2) and my friend picked up Hitman: Contracts (PS2) and GTA Collection (PS2). The GTA Collection was sitting upside down on a shelf away from the bin. There were plenty of copies of Primal and Eyetoy Groove, but no copies of THUG 2 (GCN), Thief: Deadly Shadows (Xbox), or the Suffering (Xbox), all of which I wanted.

Anyone have copies of the previously mentioned games that they want to sell me?

Well, I went to the Knoxville, TN East Towne Mall CC expecting nothing(last year I went mid-week and there wasn't anything special).

I was surprised to find a large amount of games and not another gamer in sight!

I only had a $20 on me, so I got:
WWE: Day of Reckoning
Bloodrayne 2

I saw a bunch of games there, including:
1 Project Snowblind
1 .hack Outbreak
1 Rumble Roses
Bunch of Riddicks
Bunch of Bloodrayne 2, Bond: EoN, Madden, Tony Hawk games, Mafia, Shellshock Nam 67, Siren..

There was tons more, but I didn't look at them all!

I don't know if I will be able to back however b/c I'd have to bum a ride from my parents, and they didn't perticularly enjoy the 28 mile trip to CC.

If I can talk them into it or something, I'll try to get him a copy, but I am doubtful...


I think I did see one copy of non-PC and the others were PC.
 
is SRS worth picking up for 5 dollars?
i heard and read that its lacks the feel of speed when you play...
any one that has this game, can you give me some info about it? graphic wise, gameplay wise?

today. If anyone is interested, the Glendale Ca store had plenty of Nanobreakers in the middle of the main PS2 aisle. One Socom set on the bottom rack. Ignore the bin in the front of the store.

Please forgive me if someone already answer this. But since a few people have been able to get the Socom headset, I was wondering can you PM another CC for the same price? Since I know one that still have a couple left.

Was the SOCOM ringing up as $9.99 in their computer system or did they go by a price sticker?

"Snagged" a few games in this sale. Actually, I returned to the Muskegon, MI CC to take a second look at their games. Found (1) remaining copy of both Baten Kaitos and Nano Breaker. So, if your CC had a large bin that wasn't organized, I would suggest you return for a second glance after a day or two. You never know what you will find!
 
Has any CAGer living in the Twin Cities, MN area been able to get his or her hands on a copy of Nano Breaker? I checked the CC's in Minnetonka (right at 10 AM), Roseville (10:30 AM) and Richfield on Sunday and surprisingly, none of them had a copy of this game. Heck, even the employees could not find anything that started with "nano" on their list of PS2 games. It was almost as if the game never made it to the Twin Cities because fellow CAGers in other areas or states apparently had no problem finding it at all. Oh well...
 
I don't know if this has been posted before, but I just got this one time use coupon in the mail with my order through circuitcity.com. Its a postcard size card that has two coupons on it. One for online and one for offline. They both are $15 off your next purchase of $100 or more. It expires 7/31/05.

I don't know if this has to do with the cancellation of one of the items I ordered or the phone call that said one item was canceled. So, did anyone else get these two coupons?

Is it just me or has anyone else been spoiled by the $5 price point? I find it so difficult to buy any game for more than $5 anymore. Whether it be clearance or just jumping on EB price drops. And don't get me started on $5 pricegrabber rebate games too. Oy, CAG has ruined me. I really want SRS now but it's like pushing that red button that you just know you shouldn't but can't help it!! #-o
 
I stopped at a CC on my way home from work today. I was my first visit since this sale started. I've been too lazy to wait around for it to open since I usually get out of work well before 10 but today I got out late. Anyway I was surprised that they had a lot of stuff this late in the week, including everything on the list that I had any interest in.

I picked up:
Yu Yu Hakusho Tournament Tactics
Transformers
Monster Rancher 3
Nightmare of Druaga
Ridge Racer DS

Most of the stuff was in one big bin marked "all games $9.99" though they actually were all $9.96. Druaga and YuYu were not marked down or in the bin, but I pricechecked them and they rang up as $9.96 also so I picked them up.

For other New Jersey CAGs interested there was still plenty of stuff left at this CC. It's the one on Route 22E in Union.
