Unless you are offended by foul language and extreme violence, Riddick is the game to get. I loved it. Liked it better than Halo 2, actually. :)
 
Which King of Fighters game are we talking about? I dont see any game called King of Fighters Collectors Edition on EBgames. Help Please? If it is KOF:Maximum Impact, awesome, since GR gives $25 for this.

That's about all I want, and I'm gonna keep em sealed because I already have too many to play. I really want spider man and SNK vs Capcom Chaos though. I think those 2 will be very easy to get.

Everyone should put themselves first. Am I selfish? No, but why should I lose out on $50? Am I going to buy 20 copies? No. I have learned many times that if I do what is best for someone else, I will get screwed over. Anyway, I am not going to do the buying/trading thing because I have enough credit at GR already.
 
So... anyone planning on actually, you know... buying one copy of each, opening the damn things and maybe playing them and enjoying them? That's what I plan on doing with Snowblind, Mafia and POP2. Too bad I'll have to wake up at 7am and beat all the ebay hoarders in line to have a shot at that.

Wow, theres over 31,000 views more than posts in this thread now. Granted some of us who actually participate in the community have popped in the thread without posting, but gotta have a feeling the majority of those views are lurkers.

For $10 I hope anyone rushing out to buy anything is buying them to actually play. I hope they enforce some sort of limit to buying the games, the list isn't strong enough to justify needing to buy so many.
 
Why did this sale have to come now? I was trying to save some money. We got this sale and the one at TRU. I don't have enough money for what I want. :cry: Well, I still got plenty in my backlog.
 
I really hope there aren't any ebay hoarders, the vast majoirity of these games would not be profitable to sell on ebay anyway. I hope everyone who buys these actually wants to play the games. There's only two or three games that I really want, but they'll probably be the first ones hoarders go after.

I don't see how snapping up non-superfluous games to maximize trade-in is right either. That's something I'm not going to get on the high horse about (see below), but it's not something to brag about either. Picking up a $5.99 normal price copy of Drake (that no one wants) to make your 'Trade 3, get 1 for $5' deal is one thing, snapping up copies of games people have been waiting for just so you can maximize trade-in is another.

Not speaking to anyone in particular, just chaps my ass a little. I've bought three games my entire life excusively for the purpose of trading in, and they were all $4.99-5.99 used titles at EB that there were about 80 copies in stock so I could get KOTOR II in the latest BB deal. If I was going to buy Baten Kaitos, Mega Man, or anything semi-rare on that list for trade-in, I'd kick my own ass.

I will trade for POP2 or Megaman if you can find them, for anything you are looking for that you can't find

wonder if they would just give the difference back or 110% of difference.. i dont know to go or not. They might go well this is a Temp markdown sale like target day the DATG and refuse to price match. I hate to spend 150 bucks in games and be stuck with them

You can always just return them and rebuy them if they don't do the price adjustment. You won't get stuck with them as long as you keep them sealed.
 
I concur with those saying the sale isn't spectacular....only thing remotely interesting to me is Transformers PS2, which I've never played and only wonder about because of childhood. And hell, I'd only consider that worth the trip if I could get the BB coupon PM'd. 5 bucks yes, 10 bucks no.

Not sure about that one. You might not end up getting the PM possibilities from an online purchase, since I think I've done it once in my life on an online order, though I suppose there's only one way to find out.

I'm vaguely curious to see what all the fucking Ebay whores look like in-person, so that's actually half the reason I'm planning to go by my local store on Sunday. The store pulled all the sale items from the shelves, so I'm expecting the Ebay whore turnout to be quite high.

LOL, I agree with shrike, they're usually the fucking tards with baskets. I just want Onimusha BW, SRS, Bloodrayne 2, and psi ops. Mebbe I'll take a trip today to one of the CC's in NYC and just grab these in case.
 
Yeah, tell me you guys didn't have baskets in your hands for last years $5 CC clearence. I know I did and I wasn't hoarding. I got one of each title I wanted. There just happened to be alot of 'em. :D This clearence is alltogether different though since it's not as good and there aren't as many titles.

I didn't start off with a basket at last years sale, but as my hands filled up with games, I had to get one. :D Even though I have go-go gadget stretchy fingers, my hands were just too small to carry 10 games+ in each. ;)

EDIT: This time, no basket needed. I only picked a handful of titles for myself and a few for other on here.
