I managed to skip temptation (I had 10 games in hand at one time) and leave with the following:

I actually got to my CC late as I had a service appointment for my car, but there were still plenty of games to choose from. I could have grabbed the last Riddick, Mega Man Anniversery Collection (GC) but left them in the racks for someone that will play them eventually :)

There were numerous copies of POP:WW, Baten Kaitos, Project Snowblind & Socom w/headset left over. Overall, the only game I didn't get that I wanted was Nightmare Of Druaga, so all and all a good trip :)


BTW The copy of hack that I have is an extra so if anyone out there can grab me an extra Nightmare Of Druaga, maybe we can work out a trade...
 
Pittsburgh, PA I went at 11:07 AM there were already like 5 people in front of me going through the bin. I got Day of Reckoning, Rumble Roses, Bloodrayne 2, Mafia, and KOF Maximum impact. I also Picked up Final Fantasy VII for 7.50 there and then went to Ebgames and picked up SW: Battlefront for 16 bucks. Pretty good haul for the weekend.
 
Plenty of games at the Mobile CC when I went around 11 today (PMed my 3 game purchase from last week with no problems... brought them to around 8 apiece)
Today I picked up Baten Kaitos x2 (left a couple more there... these 2 are for trading purposes)
POP2 (I have a mint opened copy of this for trade should anyone want it)
KOF... didnt even find this last week... but judging from reviews... might return this
THUG2 GCN
WWE DOR... only since it will be 5 after pricegrabber
and Transformers (up for trade)

There were tons of games in 2 bins... probably at least 200 or so.. POP's, Baten's, Snowblinds (PS2 only... I got the only XB)... Bloodrayne 2's... etc
 
Went to 2 Circuit City store near me. (Orange, CT and North Haven, CT)

I ended up getting 14 games total.

Got most of what I wanted. Disappointed I could not find the RS3 w/headset for Xbox, Mega ManAnniversary for GC, .Hack for PS2, Silent Hill 3, Thief for Xbox, Killswitch for Xbox and Shellshock: Nam '67 for Xbox. But, I guess I really can't complain. I had a pretty good day.

I have to make a return trip to return Project Snowblind for PS2. I only bought it, because the 1st store I went to had no Xbox version, but I got it at the 2nd store.

My store had Mega Man... for GC... but I already have it for Xbox so I left it for someone else.
 
For anyone in the Salt Lake City area, the Sugarhouse CC is pretty much cleaned out. Fort Union still has good titles - I got POP: WW and Baten Kaitos there, but no sign of Mega Man AC - and the Jordan Landing location is still well stocked (as of noon today)
 
Total crazy at the Jacksonville (Bayside) CC. People lined up for 30 minutes... people pushing and shoving for games... trying to get games not onsale for 9.99... trying to buy more than 3 of the better titles... whew...
 
Raleigh NC - Picked clean by hoarder couple!

So, I went to a local CC to see if they had the 2 games I really wanted and 2-3 I was considering. They had two small bins with a selection of the crappier games. However, I did luck out and find a Viewtiful Joe, Rumble Roses, and two Transformers on the shelf. I was debating those so I picked up the VJ, RR, and a Transformers while I thought about it. I also noticed two of the R63 games w/ headset. Figuring the headset might be worth the $10, I picked up one of the two. Still, I was disappointed not to have found SVC Chaos or KOFMaxImpact, which were the ones I really wanted.

I'm glad I grabbed them when I did, because just then I noticed a couple (guy and girl) with literally a shopping cart full of games! I'm talking 2-3+ copies of various titles! They weren't stopping there either. They then started scavenging the shelves. The guy at one point had five(!) copies of one of the sports games in his hand while looking furiously through the shelves. It about made me want to vomit. At this point I picked up the extra copy of Transformers, mostly just to keep them from getting it. (I figure someone I know or here might want it), I then checked around the corner, and they had snagged the other R63 headset box. I noticed they had at least one of the KOFs in their cart :(

I went over to customer service and asked if there was a limit on the number of games, and they told me 6 of each title. I could have sworn it was three. I told them there was a couple stockpiling their cart with over three copies of each game and it was really obnoxious. They really didn't say anything, but said to see what happens when they check out. When I was checking out, they were ahead of me with a huuuge pile of games at the register backing everyone up. They must have had at least 30 or 40. No joke. Of course they split them up among between the two of them, most likely to avoid any limits. Totall sleazy. Anyway, I left with VJ, 2 Transformers, Rumble Roses, and R63.

There's a mall literally across the street from the big circuit city store where I went first, and it has a Circuit City Express, so I figured it's worth a shot to see if they had SVC Chaos or OnimushaBW. I lucked out because there was no one looking for games, and I found a KOF sitting on a counter, SVC on the rack and there was a small bin that had 3 OnimushaBWs and 3 Rumble Roses!!! Totally awesome!. They also had about 7 or 8 R63sw/headset. I picked up SVC, KOF, 2 Onimsha BWs, an extra Rumble Roses, and an extra R63.

About 10 minutes later in come the same couple from the other Circuit City! In about 2 minutes, they both had handfuls of about 10 games and were still going. I really, really, wanted to say something to them, but I couldn't bring myself to it. If I hadn't have gotten there before them I probably wouldn't have found the ones I was looking for. I'm willing to bet they snagged all the remaining Rainbow63s.

I ended up buying more than I planned on and an extra of some but in way I'm glad I did because they for certain would have gotten snagged by these hoarders. There was actually a lot of stuff I wanted to "rescue", but I couldn't bring myself to buy more than an extra copy of more than one title. I'm going to see if some gamer friends in town want any of the extras. If not, I'll make them available here at cost.

So, I really got lucky and found what I wanted, and a few to find good homes for, but sadly, most everyone else in town will likely be out of luck :(
 
I just got back from the sale and picked up three games from my list: WWE DoR, Baten Kaitos, and SSX 3(Xbox). I may go back later if I can round up some more money.
 
2 Copies of Megaman Anniv (GC) at Sahara and Decatur CC in Las Vegas.

Was gonna pick one up for trading, but I realized I'd rather spend money on Alterir Iris and Riviera at Fry's. =)

*shrug* So go get' em. Nothing else of value, no PoP, no KOF, no Tony Hawk Underground 2.
 
Just came back from CC. I got:

I also went to Toys R Us because it is right next to CC and they had Ribbit King for GC for $7.50. Ribbit King is a golf game with frogs!

There was absolutely no crowd at my local Circuit City. Some of the employees didn't even know about it. I had the entire list of games on sale and one of the employees decided it would be a good idea to copy it and search for some of the games. lol

Project Snowblind - picked this up incase someone wants it
SOCOM w/ mic- this was a bit weird, it was marked 9.99 but rang up as 29.99. I mentioned it and they just changed it to 9.99 without any hassle.:) I might trade this but don't really want to as I need a mic for my PS2.

I'd really like a copy of Mega Man Anniversary Collection for the GameCube if anyone has an extra!
 
If any of the AZ CAG's are going to the CC on Southern in Mesa, there's plenty of RS3(w/headset) for Xbox and SOCOM(w/headset) and there were many NCAA Football and Madden 2005 for GC as well as a few of many other games.

First off . . . I've never had a problem with a CAGer . . . any who ripoff others are quickly outed.

Second, just start trading . . . you may have to ship first, but you can build up quickly.


Interesting to hear about mob scenes . . . I went at open and was the only person looking at games for 20 mins.

I might go back on Tue and see what's left.

My CC (Rockford, IL) had plenty of Madden 2005s for the GC. It also had a couple of SRS for GC and XB, a few Project Snowblinds (PS2), two KoF MIs, a few Rumble Roses, plenty of Primals, a few Ping Pals and Ridge Racers (DS).

Things they did not have:
Mega Man AC (PS2 and GC)
SOCOM- grabbed the last one;-)
Riddick

There were more things inbetween, but I don't remember.

You're right, as an example just do a search on Ridge Racer DS which was probably one of the more valueable games. People are listing them at buy it now at $15.00. After tax, EBay and Paypal fees they are making a dollar or 2 at most.
 
Has no one bought All Star Baseball 2005? Did anyone see it? I realize it isn't the best baseball game, but it got pretty decent reviews, and I'm kind of sick of MVP and the 2K series. I thought ten bucks would be a decent enough buy just to try it out and see what it's like. I used to like it on the gamecube and I still think one of the game cube versions (I forget which year) may have been the most fun I've ever had with a baseball game since baseball stars. Anyway, some of you must be baseball/sports fans. I'm I missing something about this game. No one wanted to pick it up? I haven't seen it in one person's list I don't think? Just curious because it was the one game I thought I would easily be able to pick up. But I guess not.

While you're at the CC, they have an 80GB external HDD on sale for $40 after rebates ($100 out of pocket). Pretty good, $.50/GB.

Dunno if they opened at 10 or not but seemed like more people then that CC normally gets.

I got KOF ps2, Duel masters, the last .hack outbreak and yuyu hakusho tactics.
Also picked up the 19.99 warhamer dawn of war pc game.

When I left there were like 3 or 4 people still looking through the games, so I dont know if there will be anything decent there now.

Its amazing. Whats the point? Is that Buck or two 'profit' worth getting up, using gas to goto the store, buy the game, drive home. List on ebay. Package item. Drive to post office, wait in line, ship game. Drive home. Relax?
 
Like usual, the La Cienega CC in LA, CA had the bomb selection, whereas the Culver City one was ass.

La Cienega store had a huge bin, stocked full of great games. I bought the following:
Baten Kaitos
Ridge Racer DS
Project: Snowblind Xbox
Destruction Derby Arenas PS2
Nano Breaker PS2
Hamtaro: Ham Ham Games GBA
F-Zero GX GC

They had multiples left of each one, and a bunch of other good stuff I already own: Rumble Roses, Second Sight, Hitman Contracts, Monster Rancher 3, etc. If you're anywhere nearby, check it out.

The Culver City one didn't even have the clearance games marked, and they had the same crappy little bin they've always had -- and most games in it weren't on clearance. I only picked up Brute Force Xbox there.

I would've liked to get MTV Music Generator 2 Xbox or Transformers, but thems the breaks. If anyone has a spare of either of these, however, PM me and we may be able to work something out.
 
Went to the CC in Montebello, CA. I picked up:

Baten Kaitos (GC)
Bloodrayne II (XB)
Chronicles of Riddick (XB)
Thief: Deadly Shadows (XB)

They had lots of copies of Project Snowblind, GTA Double Pack, Robotech Invasion, and various sports games. I got the last copies of Baten Kaitos, and Thief: DS, and I assume Riddick is sold out now since there were only two copies of those when I got there. Not too much of a crowd...I expected it to be a lot crazier.

The only two games I couldn't get were The Suffering (XB) and Mega Man Collection (GC). Oh well.

Nope. What I did was took them to Gamestop. They have a coupon in the most recent Game Informer that will get you up an 50% trade in value if you trade in four or more games. So the extras I bought I traded them there and put the money towards Darkwatch and the remainder on my Xbox 360.
 
Theres only two reasons for the ebay hoarders.
1. They REALLY REALLY like selling on ebay for the "fun" of it.
or
2. They are greedy fucking dumbasses ;P

My bet is the latter, but im sure a few strange people fit into the former.
 
Sounds like the hoarders are out in full force. Have you guys actually tried to ask the hoarders for a copy or look at them with hate? Regardless, hoarders are some of the worst people on earth.. if i'm there for a sale and I have a game in my hand and someone else is looking for it, I almost always give it to them. Did anyone share their wealth today? Just curious.. i'd love to hear a happy story instead of these hoarder stories :)
 
I got to the Pearland, TX CC about 10 minutes before 11 today. It was just another CAG and myself waiting to get in. This CC did not have any of the games pulled or relabeled. You literally had to have the list as all the games were in the regular spots with their regular price tags.

I grabbed:

Ridge Racer DS

I was really hoping for a copy of POP2:WW, but they didn't have any of those. I did however notice one more $1.99 copy of POP1 for the cube, but left it, since I already have two copies of it. I would have gotten a bunch more games, but I'm trying to save money for my vacation to San Antonio next week. It looked like they had a ton of the games from the list as I left, so if you're in the area it's probably worth the trip...unless you're looking for Baten or POP2 of course ;)
 
Picked up Project Snowblind, SRS, and Capcom vs. SNK (don't have a 2d fighter and for $10, I don't mind trying it). This was at the CC Clay Terrace.

Got the last Snowblind, but there were still quite a few of the other titles since nothing was marked aside from the Mustang and Corvette games.

About 4 or 5 Baten Kaitos for those still interested. It's on the far left of the Gamecube display.
 
I went this morning and ran into a few fellow CAGers. Here in tallahassee there was plenty of games but one two few Snowblinds for xbox. I did pick up ridge racerds, bloodrayne 2, and megaman ac though. Sweet sale.

I was thinking of going today, but backed out at the last min... was thinking of buying 007: Everything or nothing for the GC and possibly F-Zero. Did anyone go to the fairfax,va store and check it out? to be honest, I would have gone if Resident Evil 4 was on that list. I already have the MMAC for the gc but bought it back when it was 30 bucks :( oh well...maybe something better at tru eventually.
 
i went there 10 minutes before 11:00 (ad said they open at 11) to find out they had already opened at 10. i wanted to get ridge racer, transformers, and psi-ops. the only games i bought were ridge racer (pricegrabber) and project snowblind.

I asked an employee or a assistant manager to help me look for ridge R. because i told him it was on clearance he didn't even know because he/they didn't have the list, he found it and left. I then started to look at the ps2 clearance list i took with me and the same guy comes around the corner and asks me where i got it. I just said the internet.
 
The CC at the gateway center (brooklyn ny) had a bin with all the games on sale in it. I was pleased to find everything I wanted, I could have gotten NHL 2005 but I opted not to and got KOF Maximum Impact instead, mainly because it came in that big box with the bonus disk, for ten it seemed worth it. Also nabbed a copy of nanobreakers.

I didn't see it on any lists for this sale, but I grabbed a copy of RotTK VII for $9.99 from one of the bins at the Barry Rd store in KC North. I didn't see anything else on my PS2 wishlist and the GC games were pretty scarce. I almost grabbed a copy of Transformers when I overheard a guy telling his friend that you can unlock old "And knowledge is half the battle!" spots. :D
