That free 1 year subscription of GMR is tempting.

The MechAssualt 2 and Forza coupon is on the back of a holographics Halo 2 card they give you when you reserve Halo 2 or maybe you can just ask for one for free.
 
That exclusion list isn't updated. I took in a wealth of games hoping to score another free Halo 2 and only a few passed...There are more exlusions than that list shows.

and the LIST depends on the store. I just took games in today to get the free madden 2005 games. One store took in ARc the lad, Wild arms and LOK for ps2 another store wouldnt accept ARC or Wild arms
 
I called my local EBGames about the GMR Magazine deal and they said they never heard of it so they can't do it. Anyone know where that deal is listed in some type of flyer or sign?

If we already pre-ordered Halo 2, can we trade in games to just add as credit towards the final price? I'm thinking no since it says 'not valid on previous purchases' but I thought I'd ask.

My EB would not accept towards Halo2:

I am wondering if anyone knows if EB or Gamestop have any Trade in 3 and recieve an extra $10... because I want to trade in crap toward a DS because i don't get a discount for a DS at work.
 
My local Gamestop has been having the Trade in 3 and receive an extra $10 for several weeks now. But I think B&M Gamestop deals are usualling YMMV. But it might be worth a call to your local Gamestop if you are specifically looking for this deal.

you can always cancel your preorder and just do it all over again

I told you guys.. that's NOT the exclusion list! The ONLY exclusion list on the site is one dated from earlier this year for some Halo 2 thing they were running at the time. THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL EXCLUSION LIST! IT CHANGES FROM DEAL TO DEAL!!!!!

Maybe people will hear me and understand me now.

the EB that i work usually takes in 99% of the dvds that come in. they just have to have a upc barcode and we usually take them

you don't have to cancel it. If you haven't paid it off, just trade them in because they up to 10 until the game is paid off (minus exclusions of course). And no it doesn't give you more than the price of the game.

yes and no. It depends on the situation. All based on who is working at the time. Personally, if I think they are stolen, I won't take them in. Outside of that, I usually take them.

more like the exclusion list changes day to day. It doesn't matter on the deal whether something is excluded or not.

To everyone who is wondering about GBA screens and battery covers and whatnot, go to the store at nintendo.com, I got a replacement of each a while back and it literally cost me less than 10 bucks including shipping. Saved me a pretty penny on a replacement system, it did.

Right now the best thing to do is trade in your games and put it towards the preorder of Halo 2. If any game is under $10, iyou get $10 credit for each of those games. Then you can come back or even the same day cancel your preorder and just buy what ever you want.

The point is preorder Halo 2 so you can get that extra credit.

this is the most overrated thing ever. You guys made it out to be a gold mine. I went to one that just opened in orlando and the only semi-good deal was buy 1 PO game get another for 1/2 off. I did like the DVD trade though.

Personally, FYE was better before they dropped trade-in prices. Unfortunetly, I only go home to Orlando once every month or two. Here in Tallahassee, EB is best trade-in. Plus, I work there :)
 
Took advantage of the Halo 2 deal trading 2 PS2 MK: DAs from the $0.01 deal, 2 XBox Batman: Deadly Tomorrows, and 1 PS2 Pro Race Driver. Those last 2 games are available at many Circuit Citys for $4.99. Excluded titles that are $4.99 include Spawn: Armageddon XBox, Rally Fusion XBox, Motor Trend Lotus Challenge XBox, I-Ninja PS2, Auto Modellista PS2, and Mark of Kri PS2.
 
Is it confirmed that you will still get to keep your full credit amount if you cancel the Halo 2 preorder and use the credit for somethng else?
 
^ its YMMV. Some managers will follow policy to a T and force you to use that credit on Halo 2 as it prints out on your receipt. Others don't care and will let you use the credit on something else.
