I'd almost expect Nintendo to start doing some GCN re-releases (a la Player's Choice) something like this. It'd be pretty sweet.

Brings topic back from the dead...

I was just thinking about this project today. I was thinking that it would be cool to take compliation disks like the Midway Acrade Treasures or Sonic Collections and make these covers for them. Specifically I was thinking it would be neat to use some 2 disk GC cases to combine games.

My gamecube is in a different room than my Wii and I would keep some GC games near my Wii, but for the most part just those "quick play" games.

Thoughts?

That might be neat... but some collections are 3 discs rather than two so those will be a bit weird. You'd have to use one double disc case and 1 single disc case.
 
I really like these but I have one suggestion.

I would change the black background to white. This will help the purple on the GC logo and controller silohette stand out better and you also have to consider all the black ink you would be using when these are printed.

I think white would look just as good as black. Maybe have two versions?

Just a consideration. They look great either way!

It appears Mooky actually started a whole website dedicated to this type of thing. I'm not 100% sure it's his but from the little I know he is a least a good contributor.

The Cover Project started out as a CAG thread (or a thread between a few game sites), although I dont think it was Mooky. In either case TCP is where I get covers for GBA to DS cases or Wii Sports.
 
Mooky didn't start that, Snowcone did. The actual project started by Organicow for GBA covers in DS cases. Although a few of Mooky's templates are on there, there are at least 2 and probably more that aren't. One of them is his Wii-like GC cases. I know a lot about the cover project, I'm one of the very few regular posters there.

Someone else made a Wii-like GC case template and uploaded it, but you can guess Mooky's looks more professional.
