Don't let them give you crap. I seriously doubt ANY store could ban you for doing trades. I do trades at Hastings (4 for 1 deals) and I talked with this female employee there, asking if I could be "blacklisted" from doing this deal.. she said no, and if any employee threatens me, it's a lie.. so.. yeah, trade your heart out, I doubt they could do anything. What could they do? "You were, uh.. doing a deal that we advertised too much!"
i have a warning on my account at one of the gamerushes, it was a combination of using too many sweet coupons and trading in too many copies of drake for $27. They figured i must be ripping off the store? Yes it is true i have got over $1200 worth of games for about $50 out of pocket and some shitty psone/ps2 sports titles and trading in new releases that sucked(fable, killzone, battlefront) but i can still trade games in at other gamerushes so it isnt so bad. But if you think you cannot get blacklisted or get a warning on your account, you are wrong.
I have only traded in a total of 6 copies of drake, and used a total of 10 coupons(spread out over the past 4 months at 3 different stores) and that was enough to get banned from trading in games at one store.(i have cut back quite a bit from the other stores as well). But I think it is more YMMV. When i picked up my copy of halo 2, there was some dude in front me who picked up over a dozen copies of halo2(this was at a different store than the one i got banned at) so there are lots of people raping the shit out of these deals worse than me.
But again, if you think "they wont ever ban me from trading games" guess again. Of course, the time i got banned, i was trying to trade in 2 copies of drake at once(the regmonkey went and got the manager), and they banned me on the spot. Of course, this particular gamerush got about 50 copies of drake traded in, heh.
