New Kmart Clearance Price Drops (YMMV)

I just got back from my first trip to Kmart since the incredibly terrible "10-50% off clearance games" ad from 2 weeks ago, and this time there were quite a few unannounced drops. What I saw was:

:ps3:
Bioshock GH $6.99 (previously $9.99)
Front Mission Evolved $9.99 (previously $19.99)
Rock Band Country Pack 2 $4.99 (previously ?)
Dragon Age II $17.99 (previously $19.99)
There were 3-4 other rock band track packs for $4.99 also (previously ?)

:360:
Bayonetta $9.99 (previously $19.99)

:ds:
Glory of Heracles $9.99 (previously $14.99)

If I go again in the next few days, I'll let everyone else know what else went down. Best of luck to everyone finding some other deals!

For some reason a while back they made 2 accounts connected to my phone number. Both got $10 (10k pts) to be used by Dec 14. Will have to use dem up
 
will check out a store next weekend while I'm away for the holiday. anyway to tell if something is discounted/clearanced at a store aside from getting a worker to scan dozens of games ;) No idea if this store has a price checker (but then I would have to print out bar codes!). I'll just get psn cards if anything. need to cash out the $80 or so I have that is set to expire end of the year.

got free 3000 pts yesterday that expires on the 24th. this year alone, I've "lost" $45 in free points - will be $48 :cry:
 
I somehow got $7 in my SYWR account even though the only purchase I have made was for $10 a few weeks ago at Kmart.com (the first time I signed up for SYWR). It says it is for Sears, but looks like the credit could be used at Kmart too. Anyone know if they rewards are interchangeable?
 
In an attempt to get this thread back on track rather than the current "Ooh I got $x!" (no one gives a shit about you, btw), is there anything decent on clearance/sale right now for ~$10?
 
Just picked up the halo reach legendary edition. Are the two dlc cards for the recon helmet and legendary content still worth anything on eBay?

definitely not a steal. 89.99. But it's the only Kmart in my region that had it, and I live 30 minutes away, so I went ahead and got it. I love collecting video game figures, so it was definitely worth it to me. Traded in the copy of reach for 14.00 at best buy.

It's all over. The 3 Kmarts near me are done with clearance games. They only have two types of games for sale. New games that haven't been and probably won't be tossed into the clearance, and old games with the $20 "value" price tag that always has that price, UPC sticker or not.

Does it say Sears and Kmart? Also, I got $7 in points. Check your email to see if u got the spend $10 earn 10,000 ($10; probably want to print it) in points.
The only thing I could think of was getting a 56pc tool set. The tool set is $17.48. (posted on slickdeals and item doesnt show up online. Sears does carry it so u need to look around the tool department)

Makes sense. A lot of companies just clearing out inventory before the new games come in. Target does a great job at this, I am just waiting for my company (Wal-Mart) to go in full clearance mode. Must have backstock of hundreds at games at some Wal-Marts because stuff doesn't sell at full price or even marked down price of $20.

My local K-Mart was so cleared out because of the deals. The shelves were nearly empty, so I think the clearances had a good effect. As management I would be ordering a bit less games now lol.
 
Saw the Goldeneye Limited Edition (With Golden Classic Controller Pro) at my local KMart. Scanned at $47.99 at a nearby price checker. Meanwhile the Epic Mickey Collector's Edition was $39.99, and Flingsmash (With Included Wii Remote Plus) was $19.99 $24.99.

Particularly good deal on Flingsmash for anyone that's looking for a cheap Wii Remote. If I needed any I would have grabbed one but I've already got four (Two WRP & two standard remotes + attachment.)

With KMart, as usual, ignore the pricetags.

Interesting on that Halo Reach Legendary Edition, it was in the glass case at my local KMart so I wasn't able to price-check it personally, but if it hits $50, I may grab it for shits/giggles.
 
Got Skyward Sword and FlingSmash, however FlingSmash was $24.99. Got the manager to accept two printed SYWR rewards coupons both required an override. One was for $10 back in rewards that didn't work in system so she just took $10 off my total right then. Much better than keeping fingers crossed the points would post to my account.
 
Wow I need to stop by KMart to check out the fling smash prices. This would be a great time to try synching a Wii remote to my Android phone I just rooted.
 
Picked up Battalion Wars 2 :wii: for 12.59 and Vanquish :ps3: for 6.97. This was at a store that's closing and has an additional 30% off all items. They had Reach Legendary for $67, a bunch of Epic Mickey's $28ish and a few Flingsmashs. Might go back and grab another copy of Skyward Sword w/ CD at $14.

You can pair Wii remotes with Android phones and tablets to play emulators. You can also use PS3 controllers in place of touch controls
 
Thanks for the heads up on FlingSmash. I was able to pick up 2 for a coworker, they easily had a dozen. Wish I didn't already have 4 Wii remotes, really want to buy one for myself.

There has not been any recent PS3 games added to clearance recently. I scan them at least once a week while working.
 
I got email says $3 in FREE POINTS to use on purchase of $20 or more, valid 1/14/13-1/17/13 when you redeem your points and must be single transaction and must be before taxes.

I got an email that said I have $3 in bonus points expiring today, but when I log on to my SYWR account the points don't appear there (like they've done in the past). Are your bonus points showing up on your SYWR account on the website?

I went to a Kmart a town over and saw an Alan Wake Limited Edition behind the glass. Sticker said $79.99, but the I asked the employee to scan it and it came up $10. Gotta love old games just sitting in cases with no updating of the sticker price.

Agreed, and the best Collectors/Limited Edition I have ever purchased or considered purchasing. The packaging is great, the book is interesting, includes the DLC, has exclusive avatar rewards, has commentary from Remedy, one of the best devs on the planet. SUCH a great package.

You are a horrible person who probably tortures baby koalas. I kid, but damn dude, the story, the graphics, the gameplay, the score, and soundtrack, the chapter-style presentation. It was the first time since KOTOR where I felt like I was playing an epic novel or movie. Top 5 of all time game for me. Anxiously awaiting the sequel, especially since American Nightmare was just OK. These are the guys who did Max Payne 1/2, and to me, their storytelling and ambiance in the game...second to none.

I wish I had the LE/CE of it. I won a download code for it off Twitter a while back, but I still consider getting the LE/CE when I see it pop up.
