Holy fucking shit!!! This looked awesome. I wasn't able to view the new "illegal" trailer with sound since I'm at work, but just from the images it looks bad ass. I've been wanting to see this movie since it was shown in the full Grindhouse movie. I really hope this does well and we'll get to see some of the other faux trailers from Grindhouse turned into feature length films, or at least Werewolf Women of the SS. I can't believe the cast Rodriguez managed to put together for this film. You've got everyone from Lohan to Deniro to Steven Segal.

Is it just me or is Michelle Rodriguez getting hotter? I didn't think she looked all that good in the past but in Avatar and this all I have to say is wow. Also this thing has a lot of big names in it that I didn't know it had.

Yeah she is, but she's also batshit crazy.. unfortunately, Alba peaked about 4 years ago

This movie looks amazing. I only wish it were the "Second Grindhouse" with a double feature of "Thanksgiving" or "Trailer Trash"... oh well.. I'll enjoy it either way.

edit: What's awesome is I recently watched a show on animal planet where Danny Trejo was volunteering his time at a pit bill sanctuary to help out with snow and ice.

Just from that video you could see the capital building, as well as Frost Bank. I'm guessing downtown and South Austin.
 
Movie looks awesome. I run into Danny Trejo every now and then at the grocery store. Great guy!

Probably too early to say, but I'm betting on that.

Also I watched the fake trailer from Grindhouse last night and a lot of the shit in this trailer is in that one (except for the topless women in the fake trailer :lol:). Pretty cool how they are keeping it very similar to that.
 
I'm really looking forward to Tron Legacy, but I have to say that this is my most anticipated movie of the year. One of the best times I've had in a movie theater was watching Planet Terror and Machete looks even better! So pumped for this movie!
 
Who else starts laughing in a mixture of HOLY SHIT THAT'S AWESOME YES, YES, YES! and pure humor when Danny Trejo shoots the gatling gun at the end of the trailer?
 
Saw it, and it's about what you'd expect. I was hoping it would be more "Grindhousey"

Michelle Rodriguez is hot toward the end.

Saw it and thought it was awesome. It's absolutely ridiculous... The amount of hot chicks though is absolutely insane. Besides Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez, you get these girls..

I give it a meh+.

It gets repetitive after the first 45 minutes, but there was enough in there to keep me laughing/entertained throughout.
 
I thought it was awesome. The action is crazy, the weapons he sometimes uses brings to mind Dead Rising 2's weapon combos
(knives attached to a weed wacker, awesome).
The women were hot as hell too. Conservatives will probably hate it though.

Saw it last night and completely agree. It had everything I wanted in a mindless action/dark comedy flick. I thought Machete was way better than The Expendables.
 
I Liked it ALOT more then Expendables. It was just over the top, but watching the commercials for it, it was clear that some scenes were cut. Like the Tom Savini and Machete fight never happened, eventhough there was a scene where Savini is holding a machine gun and a machete comes off screen toward his neck.
