Thanks for the links. I signed up for Games for Windows and Computer Shopper ^^ I've already been getting several EGM's in the mail also.

you people are crying and the milk hasn't even spilled yet. they said they are going to do 17 more issues. so even people who sign on this or next month, their subs will be fullfilled

no need for name calling, apparently I read it wrong. But it does say people with subs will be contacted shortly, so maybe there will be some sort of compensation

GFW hasnt been all that great since it changed over anyways. One less freebie to read while on the crapper though. Maybe they will add the remaining 3 years of GFW on to my EGM subscription =-D

But lets be honest with ourselves, They wouldn't sue you over a magazine subscription haha. just give bogus name and email. You also must provide eye color, no they aren't going to biometrically track you down via your iris lol.

That's what I used to say until I got Vista. If I create a new folder on my desktop and rename it, vista can't find it when I double click it. It says the folder has moved. Then when I drag it to the recycle bin to start over, Vista says it has been moved and can't be deleted. I actually have to restart to get rid of it!

Nice! Is it just me or has that mag gone downhill though? The issues, writing, and pictures seemed much better to me years ago. I checked out two issues from last year and didn't enjoy them too much, it seems like that crappy Stuff (now dead) magazine now...

Yeah, I have Maxim now becuase I had a free sub from buy.com for spending over $15 and my free Stuff sub was added onto Maxim when they folded...I only have it until 2009, so any Maxim extensions would be appreciated.

This is off topic, but maybe someone will know. Do any mags still offer lifetime subscriptions? I know Rolling Stone and Playboy did, but I am not sure if they still do.

2600 used to. havent checked them in quite some time though. Not sure if they still do.

I actually did this last year...It took over 60 days for the sub to start and their customer service sucks, but it is a great deal for $1. They used to give out free subscriptions at tower records, but the free subs didn't have the CDs.

I would KILL for a People magazine deal. My girlfriend buys them every week and probably pays 3x the newstand price when it's all said and done.
 
I finally got my first issues of Games for Windows and Futures after almost 3 months of waiting. I thought they had stopped printing Games for Windows though?
