i was going to order fire emblem for the gc from ebgames and i tried applying the cag15 but it wouldnt let me. from the front page, the coupon is suppose to still be active.

as for samurai shodown, I was considering it, until I read Gamespot's review:

The coupon works fine for me. I just added Fire Emblem GC and applied CAG15. Keep in mind when you apply the coupon it only tells you what it is, the updated price doesn't show until you start to check out.

And as I check BB, both Advent Rising and Darkwatch are gone from the online site. If past scenarios follow true, they should both be $20 @ BB B&M.

Just a reminder, the Moter Tunes Gran Prix is the first game by Polyphony Digital, who later made....Gran Turismo. Could be a good collector's item.

The price on Silent Bomber makes me cringe, however. I got it for $2.99 b/c from ebgames.com before the merger.


Also, FYI:
Starting June 1, EB/GS will no longer be taking trade-ins for PS1 or N64 titles. So don't expect new stock on the websites.

I can confirm that Darkwatch is 20 at BB B&M.
 
Advent Rising and Silent Bomber are both must plays at any price. I think Bomber is one of the best titles, especially action, on the PS1. Advent Rising may make you want to rip your own arm off and beat yourself to death with it over the camera, but the story, music, and powered up moves make the game a keeper.

I purchased a complete Incredible Crisis from a Gamestop 2 weeks ago for $4.99. The case was scratched to hell, so I asked the clerk if I can swap everything out into a case from a game that wouldn't sell ($1.99 PS1 Special Ops, case was immaculate since the previous owner probably didn't play it). I was a little disappointed I couldn't save about $.50 with my EB Edge card yet, but you can't beat a complete copy for IC at that price.

I highly lament the lack of stacking coupons and the morning update as well as some of the ludicrous price increases but some good did come of this and the impending "dump 'em all!!!" mentality of the PS1 and N64 games. Yesterday I picked up an Excellent Condition copy of Skullmonkeys in-store for a whopping $4.99 (amazing game) and these current price drops have made a lot of titles well worth picking up.

Hell, I just bought Vanark because a 2-3 hour excellent Starfox clone for the PS1 sounds fantastic for a little over $3.
 
Just FYI, these prices have been the same as in-store prices for quite a while know. I know this because in the past few months, I've bought many of these titles at these prices.

Odd that they haven't been updated online until now.

that's just sad are you really anal about the condition of just a game case?

They didn't really go up, per se, they are just now accurately reflecting the B&M price.

Surprised it took them this long to do it.
 
You guys should check the gamestop website frequently.Every hour or then the website shows a brand new price drop.Gamestop starting to notice the approach of the new systems.They are starting clean out their older generation games to make room for upcoming games.

FYI-Starting on June 1 gamestop/eb stop accepting tradins for ps1 games.
