I think this game will be cool, but I'm a sucker for shooters. The RE theme should be a nice touch if done right.

One thing I don't like about RE in general is how sometimes you're just suppossed to run away. I always get stuck and waste a bunch of time and ammo, like the first time I came across Lisa and on the subway with Nemesis in RE3.

I think it is a sign of poor mental health when you try to make sense of RE plots. I'm willing to bet you're putting more thought into them than Capcom usually does.

This looks really slick. I'm pretty excited about it. I wonder what the chances of the coop being online are. Probably slim to none.:p

Give it a shot regardless. I bought House of the Dead 2 and two lightguns for the Dreamcast and even though my wife is not into horror movies or games like RE, she loved playing that game with me.

The latest trailer actually has me excited to play this game. Not sure if I will purchase it or not, but I will definitely rent it and give it a shot.
