PREPACK GAMES ARE DISC ONLY IN CLEAR CASES (possibly black as posted below I guess). I have never seen them in anything but Clear cases. They will all be labeled $6.99, $1.99 or $2.99

If this is posted already just move it to the Blockbuster thread, but figured if people hadn't seen it, the sale is definitely worth it.

I went to about 8 GameRush stores today and I would say 5 had Brand new shipments of the PrePack games. These are the ones in the clear cases that are disc only. Some of the stores still had the games in their original shipping boxes that they let me search through. So they must just have gotten them in.

I ONLY FOUND THEM AT GAMERUSHES. I HAVE NO CLUE IF THAT IS TRUE FOR ALL AREAS!! CALL YOUR LOCAL BLOCKBUSTERS!!!

It is probably best to call and ask if they got a new shipment of them in, so you can drive directly to one. The employee will DEFINITELY know if they got them. All the ones that had them literally had row after row of these cases in their own display rack.

360 Games are $6.99
PS2 Games are $2.99
XBOX Games are $1.99

The 5 stores ALL had those ones. Only 1 store I went to had Wii Games and they only had a couple of them. They were $6.99 also.

I personally got (let me state that they had TONS more than just what I purchased. Especially for PS2 and XBOX. They had LOTS of good PS2 and XBOX games)

360:
Gears of War
Halo 3 for
Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
Need For Speed Most Wanted
Mercenaries 2
Soul Calibur IV
Ace Combat 6
Condemned 2
Cars MaterNational
GTA IV
Assassins Creed

Im going to edit as I look get the games out:

PS2:
Rogue Galaxy
Valkyrie Profile 2
Suikoden IV
Colosseum Road To Freedom
Lego Batman
Lego Indiana Jones
Yakuza
Radiata Stories
Resident Evil Outbreak 1 and 2
FFVII Dirge of Cerberus
Shadow Hearts From The New World
God of War ii
Capcom Fighting Evolution

XBOX
Halo 2
Blazing Angels
Conker Live Reloaded
Star Wars Republic Commando
Knights of The Old Republic
Sid Meier's Pirates

The ONLY Blockbusters I found these at were the GameRush BB's. I went to a couple without Gamerush in them and they didn't have any of the PrePack games.

For KANSAS CITY FOLK:

The Stores I went to that had them were:

The 2 in Lee's Summit (by Walmart and the one by Hyvee and Goodwill)
The 2 in Blue Springs (south of I-70 at exit 20 and North of I-70 at exit 20)
The 1 in Liberty (I think it is the only one. By Sonic)

The stores that didn't were:

The 2 BB with Gamerushes in Independence (sterling and lee's summit rd)
The BB on N. Oak Trafficway (just south of Barry Rd)
The BB on Barry Road right off of I-29
The BB on 64th Street of I-29

The 2 in Lees Summit had TONS of these games. The one by Walmart had about 4 Call of Duty 4 left as of this afternoon. The one in Liberty had the Halo 3's. They had about 4 left as of this afternoon.

The Blockbuster at Sunset/Virgil call it the sidewalk sale.
There were still 2+ COD4 there. Lots of sports game, the wrestling one. didn't see any RPG.

picked up
360
Forza 2
Tenchu Z

PS2
Bully
Valkyrie Profile 2 (as backup)
Yakuza (as backup)
Spiderman 3 (accidently picked it up didn't realize I have it in the stack till I got home... ;/ )

Wow. Grabbed:

COD 3
Conan
Battlestations: Midway
God of War II

= $26.00 after tax

They also had one copy of Halo 3, Assassin's Creed and a bunch of Madden 08 and NBA 2k8.

I went to one store and asked the worker about the sale and he told me that another store in town had the "cheapo" games. I went in that second store and the woman actually let me behind the front desk to paw through the games.

I was so pleasantly surprised that I helped them out by putting the 360 and PS2 games in separate piles.

i check the blockbuster in palm coast, they had crackdown, dead rising, guitar hero 3 for $6.99 on the 360. nothing else worth checking out, they said they might get another shipment on tuesday. im trying to get my hands on halo 3
no PS3 love?
People have to own a PS3 and the games in order to trade them in so that BB can resell them. :p

My BB got in only ps2 games, we've never been a gamerush. Only decent games I saw were mgs3 snake eater and dirge of cerberus. I don't need either, though they might trade/sell decent..who knows. I need to go back to our other store in town, they did get 360 games.

Anyone find any BBVs around Omaha/Lincoln, NE doing this sale? I went to 3 in Omaha and they didn't know what I was talking about.

The broads up this weekend, so I can't sneak out and make a few trips to check. Any blockbusters in CT pick anything up lately? Looking mainly for the bristol, west hartford (x2) and newington ones (at least I think those are the towns).

Thanks
has anyone had luck with this deal on or around the Baltimore,Delaware, Philadelphia area?
Thorndale, PA had some, but if you aren't nearby, it isn't worth driving far. Most of them were PS2 games.

I've checked a couple in Lincoln, they had got some in, but only PS2 and original Xbox. Most of what they had was already picked over when I got there, so all I've really found are sports games and a copy of Super Dragonball Z. I plan on checking a few more stores around here when I get the chance, and hopefully it'll turn up something.

Anyone know how large a district is? There are several GRs around me and tons of BBs here in the Atlanta area. I found a knowledgeable manager and she said only 3 stores in her district got POGs and she directed me to two (1 I already knew about). Her store still had some old POGs like 360 WWE 2008. The first, which was a GR I never knew existed and it's really close as well, only had 360 games, the only one that I don't think has been mentioned is Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The second only had original xbox games. There were some really good ones most of which I had, but I picked up a couple that I didn't have. They still had some old POGs and I wanted to pick up WWE 2008, but it finally disappeared. Guess I shoulda gotten it at one of the other stores.

BTW, I saw several used PS2 games at all three stores which I think are newly converted rentals. There's no way they got PS2 Gauntlet Dark Legacy traded in at all three stores.
Hey is it hard to find Ace combat 6 with this deal? anyone have any luck??
I saw it in Denton, TX but passed. Not my cup of tea...
well 3 bb's in baltimore, MD did not have it/didnt know about it so... :whistle2:(
We don't have GameRushes here in the MD/DC/VA region. :(
Nothing in Palm beach here
Oh dude dont tell me that. What area are you in? im on okeechobee and haverhill with 3 BBV within 2 miles but just found out about this now so not sure what they have.

Plus our closest Gamerush is 5 hours away lol

Well not sure if it's right or not, but I called pretty much all the stores in the Little Rock, AR area, and everyone said they didn't have any, so might be a bust around here. Granted, I didn't actually drive out to see and we all know how asking over the phone can be most of the time...but there ya go.

Anyone in the Norfolk/Chesapeake area find anything? I remember that time they had that huge game clearance, i couldnt find CoD4 or Soul Calibur 4 for crap (I did manage to get Devil May Cry 4 and Frontlines Fuels of War)
^ It isn't just GRs, normal BBVs are also carrying POGs. I think it has to do with which stores get more traffic for games.
Went to a ton of heavy traffic BBV in central VA. Couldn't find any.

Picked up Mass Effect & Fear Files at Lebanon, PA BBV. They had a bunch of 360, xbox & ps2. Only a couple of Wii and PS3. There were a lot of older EA titles, WWE, Forza 2,Spiderman, Bully and more.

Went to the one in Wellington, Lake Worth, and Royal Palm. Absolutely nothing :( but maybe I just need to look for more stores.
Do you have to be a member to take part in this or is there an extra charge for not being a member? That would suck so much if there was.
No to both, I've bought games from local BBVs numerous times and not once have I ever been asked for a membership card. Memberships are only necessary to rent, I don't think they really care about who's buying the movies or games they're trying to get rid of.

They never ask for my card.

I took the game from the sidewalk tables into the store, browse their regular priced used game section and got in line. She scanned them, I paid and walked out.

You don't have to be a member. They might ask if you are only because if they scan it under your member account and you would lose your receipt they could pull up the transaction on your account should you have any problems with the games or want to return anything.

thanks for the heads up, got the following after traveling to 4 BBs in my area (SoCal)

Universe At War
Army of Two
Devil May Cry 4
Frontlines: Fuel of War
Burnout Paradise
Need for Speed Most Wanted

& a few PS2 games... one of the employees at the last BB I went to told me that alot of these games are prior rentals from stores that shut down. Gotta love CAG!

I guess there isn't any reason for it at all then.
